@@HardEndsProductions haha there's no anger here, it's just kind of a meme at this point. I actually sent you some footage from a Dreamhack for this years ago so I can't wait to see if it's in there.
"You're not sitting around for 2-3 hours without getting up and moving around, and ever since I had my blot clot I kind of learned that lesson the hard way." :|
This was so special. Thank you for uploading it. I remember the trailers so vividly, I must have watched them dozens of times. It's wonderful to finally see it.
22:20 people always talk about how emotional Nani is, especially after his losses. He was very nice to me when we met at MLG Dallas 2013, right after his close loss to Flash.
Naniwa has the Michael Jordan mentality, he wanted to win more than anyone, sure there are teams, BUT SC2 in general is an individual game, there is no one to help you when you sit down in front of that computer. MJ did the same thing with basketball, nothing else mattered but perfecting his craft, I can respect that commitment!
I'm a bit sad that you don't speak about Stephano which imo was the best foreigner. Still much love to those legends, I would love to hear form them today. This film bringed a tons of memories thanks for that.
My god, all of this is so touching. Such crazy intimate footage too! How! Marvelous work. Miss you Geoff. Day[9] and WhiteRa have been major inspirations in my life and taught me to be a better person. Love them to bits.
Unbelievable documentary. Very cool interviews. Why Released without an announcement? Well, thanks for your service, enjoying it now. Can only imagine how man hours of work were put into this and trying to market it.
For some reason, this feels incredibly melancholy. As someone who has never played but loves to watch tournaments and streamers, I never experienced this generation of gamers and it seems like a wonderful, yet, fleeting time.
1:00:12 to 1:00:38 very inspirational. Loved the approach of the video overall and how it shows how people care for people and that we wish to grow together at just being better people and not just as gamers =) ♥
I wonder if Incontrol had the opportunity to watch it. Also would love to hear what happened during all these years. Could be nice to have an online watching party with those legends too
Thanks for uploading, way too late and I think it could have better captured the magic of those times. Also hard to watch so much of Naniwa now knowing how the guy has turned out... But I did love the trip down memory lane and the white ra parts
@@HardEndsProductions Thank you very much!I need some time to finish it. And I wonder if I could upload the video to Bilibili with your UA-cam link, because it's hard to watch a UA-cam video from Mainland China. Bilibili is a Chinese video website like UA-cam.
Never got into SC2 but I put countless hours on vanilla and BW. Played these games religiously. USEAST clan x17 server. Good times and great memories. Such a great documentary. I used to play with some of these guys on here.
I love the fact that no one cares about SC2 anymore and Naniwa is now rotting away in his apartment wishing he hadn’t burned so many bridges to try to be edgy.
imgur.com/a/yK0Krae :D Been on the scene since the beginning of Broodwar, think I saw it all. All kind of bad manners. Most of them have been just funny, such as Idra. However more worthless and pathetic piece of * was definitely nANIWA. Full respect for White-Ra, for what he accomplished in both games, and in real life- very empowering! :)
God bless you all. God loves you and so do I. I beg of you to please repent and turn away from your ways. Accept Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior and watch your life transform for the better. Please take heed of this you’re not reading this by accident, please do this now, no day is promised.❤️
Thank you for publishing this. This takes me back years. 🙏🏻

The most unexpected thing of 2020, a random upload of the movie a whole generation have been waiting for a decade, what a crazy year.
indeed
Seeing Geoffrey John Vincent "iNcontroL" Robinson makes me sad, i still miss him RIP
You just casually uploaded this after all these years? Damn, dude.
Taking the ask for forgiveness route 🤷♂️

@@HardEndsProductions It was a joy to revisit some of the memories from this period. Glad you opted for this route :)

Cool to finally get to see this. I have many memories of scouring the internet for info on release dates etc. years ago. Thank you for uploading it.
White Ra's dad was spot on " he could do this for a few more years and do something else related to Esports later".
A great feelgood moment of 2020, thanks for this gem!
Geoff! Thank you for all the great moments. I hope you are having a blast in heaven or wherever you may be.
Good work guys! Long live Starcraft 2 !
This was really special to watch after all of these years, thank you for uploading this. Rest in peace, Geoff.

Also, winning and celebrating your success is NOT insulting anyone, and if they feel that it is to them, then that says more about them than him...

I mean best foreigner of that era. Pretty sure the current European scene is far and away the best foreign sc scene ever.
@@nickpease1597 yeah but the documentary is about the era when Stephano was at his peak lol, your comment doesn't make sense.
This is probably because when the footage was recorded Stephano was only just starting to become a god at that point?
White-Ra man! I hella miss Geoff. I’ve gotten into Warhammer since his passing because it was too hard to listen to the Pylon show after he passed.
Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane. RIP InControl

Geoff was better than we nerds deserved
Just decided to check if this would finally be available to watch somewhere and was delighted to find it here
I just came to SC2 after all the things in this documentary happened. I had a lot of fun watching it! Really well done, appreciate the effort!
luckily i had no idea and didnt wait 9 years..this was a beautiful documentary
Dude, you worked on this for 10 years or so?
Thanks so much for releasing this!!
I’d say 5 years but got hung up in a sales agreement after
@@HardEndsProductions Damn, that's a long time!
Just curious, what did you shoot this on?
All Canon bodies and a few different ones T2i, 7D, 5DMarkIII, 5DMarkIV, & C300
Unbelievable documentary. Very cool interviews. Why Released without an announcement? Well, thanks for your service, enjoying it now. Can only imagine how man hours of work were put into this and trying to market it.
I was the best zerg in East Africa at that time. That was platinum level only. Great upload.
Well i spent my time googling all the people in this documentary. Thanks so much. Hella nostalgia!
I loved both these players since the beginning. Both being complete opposites, what a great idea to star these two. Amazing work
“The fastest players play 300 actions per minute”
Insert a Young Italian boy
FYI Serral has higher APM than Reynor.
@@ybk9698 FYI zerg has rapid fire :)
APM were scaled differently before LotV as the game timer was 1.4x faster. 300 apm before LotV = 420 apm in LotV
watching this i felt both happy and sad. wonderful.
What a gem...brings back all these memories...
For some reason, this feels incredibly melancholy. As someone who has never played but loves to watch tournaments and streamers, I never experienced this generation of gamers and it seems like a wonderful, yet, fleeting time.
Broodwar fan here, best strategy game ever. More GG more skill!

Absolutely. Such a fundamental message for life to show up for others.
RIP Geoff.
Great documentary! Glad to see it is finally out
This is fantastic. Thank you.
Wow, i had no idea how the life of white ra turned out for good! This guy is a living legend!
Damn,,, when Nani was an absolute terror. I miss those days.
i miss that dude. he was odd but in an endearing way
Mr Starnation you have to upload a big Q&A behind the scenes about the whole documentary lol
I wonder if Incontrol had the opportunity to watch it. Also would love to hear what happened during all these years. Could be nice to have an online watching party with those legends too
Wait this is the thing on reddit years ago, damn... I'm a grab a drink and chill to this.
this was really well done
Takes me back. Love it!
Wow, it is finally here....It's a shame I don't really play Starcraft anymore lol
Man WhiteRa sounds like such a wholesome person. Such a shame I didn't know about him earlier
Thank you
so many memories my god
Damn, I miss offline events so much
Hmm this came very unexpectedly haha; I guess MetaGame isn't the only documentary I'll be watching this week!
Here in the UK, I went to school with GAMERBASE's - Dominic Mulroy !
I miss Geoff so much V_V
Thanks man, I loved this.
"Several years later..."
Unexpected surprise!

I’ve been out of touch with Naniwa, can you shed some light?
@@HardEndsProductions He got the Amber Herd treatment on social media
Back when NaniWa could yust about vin everything in Yurope
Hell, it's about time.
Right on time! /s
I forgot how awkward Naniwa was...
It's been 48 years
Thanks for this ♥

TEN YEARS LATER IN HAPPENED LOL. THANK GOD!

Wow thanks for publishing this. Justin, if you're reading this, would you be interested in doing a podcast episode? Thanks!
1:00:11 and 13:11 for inspirational Day[9]
Dang. I remember Naniwa being a pretty toxic SC2 player.
Great documentary except you do not mention Stephano, which is crazy because he was by far the best foreigner with an almost constant Cod S level.
OMG!!! what the fuck!!! haha, veeery unexpected ^^

15:23 who is this between day9 and JP?
That's Husky, he was THE biggest Starcraft 2 youtuber during the first few years of the game
Ukranian Simon Pegg is awesome!
1:25 IdrA fist pump
Idra nerd slams down his headphones, guy in the back fist pumps. Classic
