I like regeneration for a more consistent lane presence. Keep the domination path but regeneration with malphites passive leaves little to be desired
Instead of the rune transcendence, would gathering storm be a good alternative? I want more damage in late game

The only problem with Malphite ap is your best option late game is basically suicide killing one with the hope your team do the rest
I think ideally you're playing for picks late game. If you're team fighting then you should be hitting multiple people with ult. Hopefully killing one and doing a lot of damage to 1-2 more. Should be easy clean up from there.
