I took a month for us to finally talk and for me to get out of this shy state. And we talked for 3 weeks, he asked me out on a date and after the date he asked me to be his girlfriend. To us, the timing is perfect because we began spending a lot of time with each other. Like out of 7 days, we were together for 5 and for like 3 or more hours on end. My mother(she's from the Caribbeans), decided to call me thirsty because I "picked up" the first guy that talked to me. Which isn't true, many guys have tried but I never felt the urge to talk to them. But I'm saying this to say, people no matter how close they are to u will always have something negative to say. If you know in your heart that that person is a good candidate and you can sense a strong connection, don't waste time because life is so short. And literally with my man, he's helped me see the world in ways I never did before and I am so grateful and blessed for the opportunity to hold his heart right next to mine. If I had let what my mothers island thinking get to me, I would have missed out on such a blessing. Your gut/heart will always help you make the right choice. Stay blessed.

I feel like dating in today's standards are just a waste of time and energy. Ive been on a couple of dates that just seems like they out there to play or have sex. Nothing serious anymore. I think it's more common for the mother to be honest with their teenagers more if they are cheated on because they are most likely devasted and it's hard to hide that. I feel like parents accidentally use that as a teaching moment to their kids so they don't end up in that situation. Plus I'm sure the kids have asked their father about it and most good fathers can lie to their wives but lying to their kids is something they can't deal with. Isreal seems like he loves his kids as much maybe more than Adrienne. That why isn't afraid to bond with them.

She did him wrong in what way? She had a lot of unfortunate situations in a short span of her life, and she realized that marriage isn't a good thing for her right now, there was nothing wrong with that. Honestly, saying that Ariana did him wrong is a misjudged statement because we don't know what fully happened in their relationship. And both parties, from what I've seen, haven't been negatively talking about the other. I believe there's no time limit for someone to move on from a relationship, it depends on the person.

i mean we dont know what happened behind closed doors. we dont know what really led to that decision. also she was going from one fragile person to another. from Mac who had substance abuse issues to Pete who has BPD. Its a lot to handle. and she went from dating Mac for two years to dating Pete not even two weeks later to being engaged to Pete soon after. She didnt give herself time to heal. Mac had just started dating someone right before dying. All this plus Mac's death probably opened her eyes to how fast things were going. you cannot blame her for that
