I have a 2016 (66 reg I UK), 2L diesel auto Grand C Max, and I absolutely love it. Very responsive, powerful, roomy, comfortable, smooth, good features. Great car.

@@apucibence4024Dang, I just paid 11250 for mine today. But it is a 2L auto and it did have all the packages and only lacked the sunroof. Oh and mileage was only 8900 even though its a 2015 reg. But still, quite a bit more than yours!

Das ist eines der besten und ausführlichsten Videos über den C-Max, das ich im Netz finden konnte. Vielen Dank dafür. Bei mir war es beim C-Max Liebe auf den ersten Blick und in ein paar Wochen wird er dann endlich Meiner sein. Dein Bericht hat mir die Entscheidung leicht gemacht, zur Wahl stand nämlich noch der Focus. Ebenfalls ein tolles Auto, aber in meinen Augen lange nicht so schön.

At 22:40 there is a promise of the rear seats but that never happens. But I've tested the rear seats myself last month and They are quite spacious than I've expected (for one thing, I can fit in there unlike some other cars like Zafira, Espace -which is a joke- etc).

My Grand C-Max has the 2.0L diesel and drives superbly. My next Grand C-Max will have the same engine.

TechExplorer Thanks Joe! Actually I think you indeed dont need the Diesel as the Ford turbo petrols are so well done. What would ppl pick in the US instead of the Grand C-MAX ? Big SUV option then e.g. Explorer?
@@autogefuehl i have an american cmax. in us they are all hybrid with toyota system. our grand alternative would be the transit connect but they are rarely sold outside the commercial van setup.

At least I found long review of Fords....:) Thomas I've got one question: Grand C-Max or C4 Grand Picasso:)? Which one would you choose for family which need space on the back (dont need 7 ppl version but bigger trunk is the argument;))
Or maybe you would advice some other models in the same price and with petrol engine and AT gearbox?
These are really good cars. I though Ford had lost its way when it released the two year old "new" Mondeo, but these two cars are really up to the standard that Ford has set in recent years.

Unlike the rest of the world, luxury minivans are getting mkre popular here in the Philippines with vehicles like the Toyota Alphard and the Honda Oddesy. If Ford took the Grand C-Max, stretched it, made it taller and gave it a cool new name, heck I'd buy 2

Du vergleichst öfters den GRAND C-MAX mit dem S-MAX und meinst , dass du den GRAND C-MAX bevorzugen würdest, allein schon wegen den Preisunterschieds, aber gibt es weitere Kriterien, die dich bei C-MAX überzeugen? Und welche Motorisierung würdest du als sparsamste und vernüftigste bei GRAND C-MAX ansehe? Danke!
Hallo Claudia, besten Dank! Bei Ford geht das wirklich in kleinen Schritten hoch, was die Größe angeht, C-MAX, Grand C-MAX, S-MAX, Galaxy ... ganz zu schweigen von den kleineren darunter.
Die Frage ist wirklich, wie viel Platz benötigt ihr und wie viel Budget steht zur Verfügung. Und um es noch schwerer zu machen, kann natürlich ausnahmsweise mal ein Deal beim Händler auch so sein, dass aus Zufall der größere mal im Angebot gerade ist. Als besonders sparsam würde ich keinen der Motoren bezeichnen, was ist denn so eure Gesamtkilometer-Laufleistung pro Jahr? Wenn ihr weniger als 15.000 km / Jahr fahrt, spielt das bei den Gesamtkosten ohnehin keine allzu große Rolle. LG Thomas
Danke dir für deine ausführliche Antwort! Gesamtfahrleistung ist ca. 13000 km pro Jahr, 70% Autobahn und 30% Stadt. Wir brauchen einfach einen 7 Sitzer mit Einparkhilfe. Ich habe nur bemerkt wenn die 7 Sitze ausgeklappt sind, da hat auch ein Galaxy oder S-Max kaum Platz für Koffer etc. Daher ist der GRAND C-MAX für uns kein großer Verlierer beim Vergleich in Sachen Kofferraumvolumen.

How can I sleep comfortably in the Grand C Max with 5 Seats?

Ist ein sehr "deutsches" englisch, daher sicher auch für deutschsprachige besonders einfach zu verstehen ;)
Thank You Thomas, an excellent review of the Ford Grand C Max. I will need the convenience of a seven seat vehicle when my grand children are travelling with me. I have short listed the Ford Grand C Max and the BMW 2 Gran Series. The main thing i like about the Ford is the sliding doors, but the BMW is far better inside. Whats your opinion of the 2 vehicles. Keep up the great reviews.
I think there’s a massive price difference, isn’t there?
Ford Recommended OTR price 25.495. Act OTR Price 22,995. BMW Rec OTR price 25.785, Act OTR price 23.995 that is UK price in Pounds, not really that much difference with the prices. I will be road testing both cars in the New Year. The models are Ford Grand C Max Titanium with 1 Litre ecoboost 125 bhp. BWM 2 Series Gran Tourer SE 118i 1.5 3 cyl.

Ich werde mir bald einen Grand C-Max zulegen. Soweit ich weiß wiegt der Grand ca. 1,5 Tonnen oder ? Da wäre die 1.5 Liter Maschine mit 150PS doch sinnvoller als der 1.0 Liter mit 3 Zylindern. Auf den Verbrauch bin ich allerdings mal gespannt ;-)
Capt.Trips Vielen Dank auch! Jo der wäre net schlecht. Wobei der 1.0 Liter echt nicht verkehrt ist. Aber ich würde tendenziell auch ein bisschen mehr Hubraum nehmen...
Gutes Review. Mir gefällt der Grand Cmax besser. Ich finde die Proportionen von Höhe und Länge passen besser zusammen. Dazu noch der sehr variable Innenraum.
P.S. Das Mikro könnte auch extreme Brustbehaarung sein. ;))
Danne6und8zig Hi! Besten Dank für das Feedback. Mit dem Grand bekommt man noch mal deutlich mehr Flexibilität ohne großen Aufpreis, stimmt. Nur mir persönlich gefällt der kompakte vom Design her besser, aber das ist zum Glück Geschmacksfrage! Hihi, das nennt man dead kitten, damit gibt es dann keine Windgeräusche am Mikrofon :)
Euer Ratschlag, den C Max mit Diesel oder Benzin zu fahren? von 2016 bis 19? Muss Ihr Tipp gehört werden?

Nineq 96 yeah Zafira is one class bigger - you should compare it to the S-MAX which will be also launching soon! Zafira test is not on the way so far as its meanwhile a quite old model...

I used to own a 2012 C-Max, I didn't even want that cigarrette lighter and ashtray in my car. I might buy the 2016 model, but I still don't understand why I can't just leave those out. And those plastic tables on the back of the front seats... I don't like'em!

***** Well, I can't say it looks that bad, that's true. All I wanted to say is that I'd appreciate own ideas. A company like Ford should be able to develop and maintain a modern and unique design language, like they did within the last decade. The gap to VW is getting bigger I guess.
