Great video guys, I Just bought a place in a small village About 1hr from prague. I cant wait to get there and live a humble and peaceful life. So over big city living. Once my country allows international travel again, we are there!!!
My mother's parents both immigrated as small children from what is now the Czech Republic in Moravia and Bohemia around 1900 when it was still Austro-Hungary through Ellis Island.
I always enjoy going to the Czech Republic and I enjoy walking around any of the towns. The Rosenburg Castle is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your video. I’m from the USA and I have lived in the Czech Republic for 20 years. I live in a village of about 2300 people, even though I think it’s more of a market town. I live near Slavkov u Brno, and I have to say that I love the village life. I was in Cesky Krumlov this summer, but I wasn’t aware that there are those kinds of views in that area. Great video. All the best to you guys.

watching video like this, Ghana and other African countries are 500 year behind the world😭😭 why didnt God asked us before leaving us in hands of hopeless leaders ?..hmmm
It is not like we are ahead of the world either. We cross border to germany and look like poor cousins. It is not just about leaders, but also average people. No education, no sanitation, no electricity, civil wars and spread of islamism are challenging obstacles even for great politicians, but they need to compete with populists with voters who can´t even count, while fending off interests of superpowers. Sometimes we say an enlightened dictator is the best option, but they are a weakness superpowers can exploit - corrupt or target, plus their rule is just about 40 years. Our nation lived 300 years under empire which attempted to supress our culture, majority of people had little more rights than a slave (right to move, right to marry, forced work - decided by nobles). And after brief 20 years of hardwon freedom, we were occupied again by nazis, and later by communists. 40 years our country was drained of resources and workforce, producing steel, goods and uranium for SSSR. The revolution brought spike in crime, corruption and white collar crimes ruined the country a lot more than is visible, along with foreign companies exploiting our chaos. What I want to say is, you are watching centuries of hard effort. Your country is at the begining, but many bloody battles were already fought for you. Human rights, unions, democracy. You have a better start than our ancestors did, so head up.
you guys are real amazing with this Prague villa tour and am very much interesting to visit there with my family from Ukraine. guys hope we are welcome?
New subscriber here. My mother and her family fled Czechoslovakia, so I'm half. My family there is spread out, but mainly derive from Svincany, fairly close to Saint Barbara's Basilica. We also have lines in Ukraine, from when Czechs were recruited there after world war 1, and I have a relative that never returned from Siberia, they are still there after being deported & imprisoned many years ago. I actually don't care for Czech's, haven't found them to be warm or friendly people and although the lands itself are quite enchanting & lovely, as they demonstrate light semblance of Slavic culture with its own unique Bohemian blend, and I love grey atmosphere & architecture, it's the demeanor as I haven't found my own people to be the nicest and wouldn't recommend to others because I myself, am being honest they're not the nicest of people's, sadly. That goes for the American diaspora as well. They are not the most family oriented or warmest of cultures, compared to other's. I was curious if you have heard of Svincany? It is in the province of Pardubice, maybe a little over an hour east from Prague? It is considered in Bohemia, bordering Moravia, I believe. It's a tiny place, maybe a few hundred inhabitants. Saint Barbara's is the biggest land mark closest by, designated a historical treasure. I have had many Barbara's in my family due to her influence. If the people would nicer, I would feel more compelled to go back in my adulthood but as it stands, I was actually planning a year long volunteering opportunity in Ukraine to help sickly, orphaned children and disabled adults, after I earn my credentials. The way things are looking, that may still be possible as Ukraine is gaining the upper hand. All my friends growing up here in Massachusetts were from Poland, Ukraine,Russia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, etc....No Czechs or Slovaks. There is old German influence, Dr.Seuss lived here, largest Russian /Ukrainian diaspora outside of Brighton Beach, but no Czechs or Slovaks. They are all out in Chicago, Texas, Nebraska, the mid west & plains. I've never encountered anyone familiar with Svincany either. It's so tiny and the unfriendly community and difficulty to connecting, don't make it any easier. I don't expect an answer or reply. I never get anything substantial on these large channels. Like I said, just curious if Svincany was ever on your paths radar. I would be very surprised!!
