I was a DL person till the pandemic and had an AP for 3 years, but when they made ppl have a reservation, I said, “Screw it.” My friend and I would go to DL on a whim so making a reservation doesn’t sit well with me. Plus, the price for the top AP skyrocketed and it wasn’t worth it anymore.

I don’t know if you guys know this or not, but the rest of the country does not put the word “the” in front of freeway names. That’s peculiar to Southern California. Such as the 405, the 55 etc. If you put “the” in front of the freeway name in other states they look at you like you’re crazy. Ask me how I know.

Yes. Adding “the” to our freeway names is a SoCal only thing… Northern California doesn’t do it either.
