    Nice job mate,it's a shame about the cracks but its still a lovely bowl for all that.Cheers,Bram

    Nicely done Barry. Are you not using abrasive paste between the sanding sealer and the wax. I think it would add to you lovely finish.

      Thanks Doug. I usually use abrasive paste, however, as it was a piece of yew I decided to apply sanding sealer then a high gloss wax finish as an experiment, and I must say it came up great. I'm not sure you would get away with it on some other timbers.
