finding it mega difficult even though ive learned a lot in a week, im still finding it cumbersome and impossible with a Minilab2 just pressing buttons and hoping for the best.. I can create a 4 beat loop but only with one sound, cos if i load another midi track they either wont play together, or i have to use a separate channel for every sound i want in a sequence..hard to explain, i keep turning it off in frustration then going back to it, rinse and repeat... lol
First of all.. congratulations!! I’ve got a question: doing very simple beats.. how do I know that I’m not breaking some copyrights rules, since I’m sure that all the notes combinations I can find out on my own have already being played by someone else I didn’t know about?
If you are talking about melodies, I'm sure if you've broken some copyright people will get in touch with you. But if everyone worried about that no one would make music. I wouldnt focus on that, just focus on learning and making music...
i recently read about 2 guys using AI, databased every combination of keys and melodies that is mathematically possible, and intended to copyright and make it all open source. Not sure how its going or whether it was successful.@@ellatronixofficial
