The clash is better than Beatles or Rolling Stone, The Clash is for me, The BEST BAND OF THE WORLD! They maked the beautiful songs to this world

Whether you like Rancid or not, you have to acknowledge they really put forth their pure love of punk rock in every song. Also, their love of the east bay!

Well, I guess it is what it is. I just never heard any such details. I listened to Lars on Fungus religiously and he never uncovered any of Tim`s dirt, which is cool. I did see an interview of Tim talking about his home life growing up. Thnx!

The dumb fuck I am I only just thought Joe strummer and rancid would be a great match goes to show that there are no new ideas they have been thought and if not acted on they float around until someone else absorbs it madness and I fucking love it

Yeah, I was only 6 when he died and I didn't even know about The Clash. I had to ask mum why she was crying
Tim did state his father was an alcoholic and resented it. Doesn`t mean he picked up where his dad left off. Most alcoholics with Tims degree of sucess would have been dead by now . I`m sure Tim may get his drunk on occasionally, but don`t assume anything. I`ve never heard or read anything about Tim in any rehab situation or band fiascos due to drugs or alcohol.

I don`t have a video to send. I just came across it here one day. I couldn`t tell you if I was surfing Tim, Rancid, Transplants or Distillers. I just found it. Sorry bud. I do think it was a Transplants interview but not certain.

its good, very faithful (maybe a little more prominant bass), except they lack a guitar effect that the clash used on the original at the end that was very cool.
It doesn't have the power of the Clash version.
