Colour out of Space is another good one. kind of a tribute to HP Lovecraft
Thank you so much for featuring these guys. I had heard them once before and meant to look up more. Then other things got in the way. I just loved the music and the way they were into the music. The bass player was cracking me up with his faces. I wonder if they ever tour in the US. I would certainly, based on just this one song, go see them.
I would love to see them live! So unique! Just found out they've been around since 1987!!! I was off as far as their individual styles: Guitarist dresses like a 'literary master', the bassist like a Buddhist monk (I said Kabuki because of the white make up and his facial expressions) and the drummer a Yakuza-style gangster. Turns out the bassist is inspired by Gene Simmons!! I love these guys!❤️
I get goosebumps everytime I hear this song. Love these guys so freaking much!
BTW, have you heard Verjnuarmu - Laalavat jouset?
UA-cam reccomended them to me several years ago alongside with Ningen Isu. I fell for both bands so hard.
Holy shit. No wonder. That's right up my alley too. Thx.
Great find! - got that metal prog power trio feel!
This was so cool! So unique! They're doing their own thing and I think it's great!🤘❤️🤘
The lead singer is a feudal scholar, bassist is a monk, the drummer is an old school yakuza gangster.
I recommend their new single off their 23rd album, 'Farewell to the World'
the singer like to travel with tant and motor.

Wow! that's some list! I had to take two screenshots to take it all in lol. thank you, my friend! It's obvious Japan has a healthy metal scene🤘❤️🤘
It is pronounced "Neen-gen Ee Sue" (hard "g"). It translates as "Human Chair"
Old school vibe, simple but cool👍
Lol, simple says me and then they all went nuts at the end😅🤘
They've been around since 1987! Sabbath a big influence on them.
if you like this one you should check out Hungry Pride by Maximum the hormone.
I beleive they opened for Iron Maiden at one point too. great find sir
Shaba dabba dee oo, these guys are awesome.
人間=Human
椅子=Chair
next: Farwell to the world please :D
Sounds good to me!🤘❤️🤘
This is a deep, deep rabbit hole to delve into. So many great songs to discover from this group.
Farewell to the World off of their album that dropped late last year is really good. But find any song of theirs and listen to it, It's gonna be good.
What they reminded me of when I first seen them was those late night karate flicks that used to come on the guitar player and the bass player look like they're straight out of a karate movie and the drummers got this Elvis kind of thing going on and I was like what the hell is this and when they started playing l was blown away these guys rock
The Black Sabbath of Japan! I was thinking the same thing about them and they just blew me away! 🤘❤️🤘
from my finding from years ago......history channel was doing a doc on monks. their came out with this band to rebamp and support monks financially. that vid is super old my friend.they are good musicians!!....but not music is allowed within thee temple..outside only. still monks..brilliants musicians
I had been seeing the thumbnail for this video on and off for a few months and decided to click it.... Hai onegaishimasu! The riff is killer! Glad to have them in the various video mixes! They also do a good cover of Breadfan;

Try, The Caterpillar. These guys have such range.
I highly highly HIGHLY recommend their live performances, you'd never be able to tell they're pushing 60
Personal favorite: "At the mountains of madness", H.P. Lovecraft inspired and uses a theremin: ua-cam.com/video/DgTEKoYhAXg/v-deo.html
One with an Iron Maiden sound is ”Nightmare Tourist", the drummer sings and he has an amazing voice: ua-cam.com/video/DgTEKoYhAXg/v-deo.html
And finally one written in their native dialect of Tsuguru from the far north part of Japans main island, I consider it to be their "theme song": ua-cam.com/video/0b0G20N7GDk/v-deo.html
Thank you, my friend! I really appreciate those links. I've added them all to my watch list. I can't wait to see these guys on stage! 🤘❤️🤘

So cool! Thank you for the recommendation and the links (that does help a lot). I appreciate that!
Band-Maid was my first big contact with Japan. Since then I am stuck and never left. Favourite bands are Lovebites, Hanabie, Aldious, Yousei Teikoku, Saiseiga, Unlucky Morheus...
And I bought this CD right after hearing this song
I have a lot to check out! Thank you! 🤘❤️🤘
Stay in Japan and check out LOVEBITES. You won't be disappointed! Judgement Day or Hammer of Wrath live! The musicianship is ELITE!! 🤘
Thank you! I've heard about them and I'm looking forward to checking that out 🤘❤️🤘
@@BemusingBill They will blow your mind if you like 80s metal; I grew up on it. All the influences are there - Big 4, Testament, Maiden, Priest, Helloween, Motorhead and of course they put their own stamp on it with out of this world musicianship! 🤘
🤘🤘🤘👺👹👺🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s the bollocks ain’t it 🤟🏻🔥
Hellz yeah 🤘❤️🤘
Love the song....hate the guitar "solo" towards the end.
They layered it with a second solo and it sounds muddied and confusing.
Other than that.....great song.
This is not layered. If you listen closely, you'll notice that the second guitar you hear is what he's playing, but it's repeated with a second delay or so.
This is some kind of effect pedal for the guitar. I don't like it that much either.
