Enjoyed the video. I also love to escape the crowds. Your not asking for much, just some peace and quiet. That's exactly what I mostly fish for. Stay safe. 👍👍
Caleb, as usual your filming is superb; the challenge you set yourself this trip was a difficult and you made it happen. Ignore the nay sayers complaining that they didn't see enough "fishing action"! You and your work are appreciated by so many of us for a reason. Keep on being you!
Absolutely beautiful work. And the van is sweet! Chin up, man. It just means you have to go on a new adventure, a little further. Hey, that would be a cool episode title! "A little further..."
Not arrogant at all. We all need to find our peace and hold on to it. Its becoming harder to find and even harder to hold on to. Ignoring it is only temporary. Always great content on this channel.
Lots of fishing pressure and drought conditions have ravaged a lot of good spots out west. Just got back from 2 weeks in yellowstone and know for a fact I could of caught bigger and more fish in Georgia. Hiked 14 miles on one of the legendary streams out there and the river was so low. There still were some fish out there but few and far in-between. Everything felt like you were fishing behind someone and it didn't help that there really is more people out fishing than ever before. The only places I can find that still doesn't experience all the extra traffic is deep in the rhododendron. Find some of the thickest stuff out there and no one wants to go through it. Still holds promise of the best fishing spots in the Appalachians.
I only have two videos on my channel, just search Caleb Stasko. But I’m going back to posting all fly fishing videos here. I may post non fly fishing stuff on my own channel too but idk yet. We’ll see haha
Firstly, this was beautiful. Really enjoyed this Caleb. Also, I had a similar problem on the Gunpowder. I made a poor choice of sleeping in. Hit the river on a Sunday at 9:30. Let me tell you the tubers wasted no time. I was fishing between floats all day. Caught fish miraculously but it was a challenge to film and catch fish. So I get your frustrations and desire to be alone with nature. Keep up the great work and enjoy your time out there. Tight lines!
Great to see you Caleb! Miss seeing you with Nate and Joel back in PA. DIsappointed for you that you didn't get to fish and film as much as you'd planned. Weekends on MT waters getting slammed now? Will be there most of Sep-can't wait! Stay well. JD in San Diego
So glad you posted this here! Subbed to your channel too. Amazing quality and great fish. You guys should team up to make a film for the fly fishing film tour some year. Keep the videos coming!
Nice to hear from you Caleb, keep following Allegheny with Nate and Joel but they're missing the camera guy. Hope life is good for you in Montana and dont be shy to give us a «coucou» once in a wild. Take care man!
Definitely not easy filming yourself, for anyone who does not know how these things get put together, setting something up like 6:27, and hauling all of your stuff out and making sure you're framed up/exposed right is tedious work. Plus having to set up a camera, do a scene then come back for it... Really great work on this one, love the film look. Cheers. H&A
Claeb great to see you and the vintage van!! Hope she runs for you in the remote stuff!!! I never did find out why you left the other guys? It’s different with out you!! But they are doing a great job! It is hard to film n fish alone, I might be making a run at here soon, any tips??? You don’t seem yourself .. I’m off I can meet you and help film, just saying hit me up.. you can fill me in on all the photo challenges so I can buy pass all that!!! I’m serious when I say that. What state are you living in now?? Miss ya man !!
Being a witch I yearn for solitude, escaping to the forest to chase trout and do witch stuff is getting harder with all the people. I feel your pain, and have many potions for it
This video was so bad it made me unsubscribe from the channel, and that's a shame because I like the stuff the other guys put out. If I wanted to hear a hipster ramble about film cameras and complain about there being too many people doing the exact thing he is doing, then I'd walk into any craft brewery in the country. I came to watch cool fly fishing videos and out of a 17 minute long video there was what, 3 minutes, maybe 4, of fishing content...
Caleb's videos are like beautiful little micro documentaries. Would love to see more of these!
This is magical! Thanks a lot😍
This is one of the most beautiful works I've seen on UA-cam in a long while. Thank you.
Calab awesome video bro... so glad to see you. Please keep filming and sharing!!
I really liked this one. Something just felt different with it. I definitely want to see more from him.

Incredible. More of this please
I really like the soft vintage glow this video has
Beautiful scenery! Bummer that SxS are so frequent. Being there looks calm and peaceful

Agreed, I was in the park last month and they had closed the fire hole and parts of the Lamar valley, fish taking a beating this summer
Don't give up. Winter coming. Best time to fish. Peace and quiet will be here.
Well done, love the photos
Good to see Caleb again! Cut off before you said where to send a new fly line though!
Love it, makes me want to be in the mountains right now w/ fly rod in hand and cold water on my feet.
Really cool video my man. Love the aspect ratio. Would like to see more of your films - where can I find your channel?

Good to see you back on Allegheny, however, I am subscribed to “your” channel as well. Always good stuff!

This is nature porn. Hardly any tech, no office just pure beauty and peace.
COVID has increased foot traffic in many outdoor areas. That first take was so slow ..neat take! Tightlines!
If I could "like" this twice I would

Beautiful scenery. Looks like an awesome place to be and fish. But man, what a boring video.
Dude, Not excited about this one! Sorry
