I remember when Big Ramy first arrived on the bodybuilding scene and I was amazed at how much progress he made in such a short period of time. The guy works extremely hard, but you could tell right away that that guy had the genetics to go to the top. He wasn't quite at Phil Heath's level at that time, but you knew it was only a matter of time before he would surpass him.

Curry and Ramy have 2 totally different types of physiques. Ramy has that freaky, huge and shredded within an inch of his life thing going on. Where as Curry is more shapely with a nice X frame but he doesn't have the freaky mass and nor is he shredded to the bone. If Ramy can stay injury free, work on the weak points between each Olimpia and keep coming dialled in, he is so far in front of everyone else that he is, in my opinion, unbeatable. But if he has a real, real bad prep then Nick Walker could pinch it. I don't think Curry will ever win another. He didn't win that one, it was just the top guys didn't turn up or were off. I don't like his personality either. He's an arrogant prick and I wouldn't want him to be the front man of bodybuilding. Chad is not a trainer. He is what many would consider a diet guru more than anything. Of course he is also guiding athletes on what drugs to take, how much, how long, etc.. Diet is SO critical to this sport and in particular when you are preparing for a show. Chad is one of the top guys for sure. I think Ramy likely knows what he is doing in the gym.
He has many problems in the pass with conditioning and thats why he has lost many times. He has been big since he stepped in the Mr. Olympia stage. As soon he keeps his conditioning on point he will not lose for the next few years.

Well Ronnie has a HISTORY of not promoting excellent Caucasian bodybuilders esp after his yrs long on stage battle w/Jay Cutler who eventually dethroned him! Ramy is great but other guys are similar esp Nick Walker an amazing up & Comer whose a smart bodybuilder.
Ronnie reminds me of Pele, the greatest soccer player ever but when we he talked about the modern game he was way off the mark. And for me FWIW I reckon Ramy is just about the worst Mr O we've ever had ....... big but an awful allround physique with zero symmetry....
Ramy is huge but it’s no longer a physique show. It’s about mass with or without symmetry. Platz and De Mayo got penalized for excessive leg development because it screwed up their proportions. It’s a different game today. Arnold had more cuts.
