Nobody sounds like they did when they were in their prime. But what a great opportunity to say you saw them live before our whole generation of the greatest musicians ever is no more. A whole group of them from the 80s are in their 70s. Hats off to them all ❤️
David is 70 years old, man. So if you have negative comments about his voice, I'd like to see some of you do this at 70 years old!! Long live WHITESNAKE!!
Tommy A is 72 & is kicking everybody's ass but you don't see him even trying to sing accompany vocals do you ? That's why when you hit that age you supposed to be singing the blues in a smokey bar in Memphis TN
IMHO, Is This Love' guitar solo has gotta be one of the sweetest, sexiest and smoothest solos ever, John Sykes pure genius, executed flawlessly here by Joel Hoekstra
Only thing I don't like about Hoekstra is the down on one knee posing for solo's. Nope be a proper rock guitarist and be stood up. Yeah a low sway of the hips and legs like Doug Aldrich yeah but not the posing. Check out Reb Beach kicking it as a proper rock guitarist and not a poser during Still Of The Night in 2004 at Hammersmith. And yep Doug does the hip sway and legs during it.
i started hearing white snake in my college days,,its been more than 30 yrs now,,they are still the best in this age..long live rock n roll n white snake...love n prayers from india..cudnt able to see them live...
Tanya has admitted it sounded bad, but being first night of the tour her earpieces were consta try falling out, they had front of stage problems and she couldn't hear her sound properly thru the monitors. Compared to later in the tour the bass is terrible but not her playing, is due to sound equipment playing up.
Yeah the voice is gone but was still an excellent show, you can't beat his showmanship. I was at Nottingham and is the 3rd time I've seen Whitesnake, first time was my first ever gig/concert on the 1987 tour on the last day of 1987. All 3 times Tommy has been the drummer.
I am just getting into whitesnake and I feel absolutely horrible. I feel horrible because he canceled his tour because of upper respiratory stuff and I really wanted to go see them
I alwaysd thought Don't turn away was a much better song or looking for love.....little known fact the original title for this song was; Love, what is it good for
@@rula42 somebody fucked up something for sure. prob the soundman but if not she just hit the wrong pre-set on her foot board. ive seen her play on other stuff and shes not bad , more image than talent but thats what people want. if this was all her i bet she got a very stern "get your shit together " talk on the bus
My guess is the PA and where the recorder is postioned. There are other videos from this very show by other people and the mix is "normal". Probably this guy was just in line with the PA bass' speaker and that's what the microphone caught.
I was in Stockholm last year and the voice was 😢 bad, this was the last perfomance lucky I've seen Whitesnake 6 times earlier,Tany O'Callagan was awesome on her Sadowsky!
That bass guitar is the only thing that sounds worse than poor ol' Dave. Shit playing, shit tone. But Dave, it's time to jack it in, old son. You were magnificent once, but that day is long gone.

Going to see them tonight and can't wait x
Amen brother 🙏
Dam right stacy.. 👍👍🐍

I don't
know, man. Mickey Thomas of Starship is 72-years-old and here's what he sounds like ua-cam.com/video/xzV5Vrj_k0o/v-deo.html
I agree with you but that's exactly why DC brought in Dino J. whoose vocals are top notch. Kinda sad to see DC go out like this to be honest with you
@@Solar-Busters I agree ... I've followed DC since the Burn album. DP Mark III was an incredible lineup and Glenn Hughes is why I play bass.

@@Solar-Busters I remember seeing Black Oak Arkansas WAY BACK when with Tommy on drums. Man, he's weathered time and yes, still kicks ass today
Yes amigos👏👏
Amazing he can still rock it!!!
I love him no matter what...just a different kind of arrangement..

David is a legend , but 15 years past it live .
Thank you for posting and sharing this 💕 🎶 💕 !!
Dam that’s the way the solo is played ! 🔥
For those talking crap about the bass: BASS IS NEVER TOO LOUD
its not too loud , just the wrong tone for this song
But out of tune

Este tema se lo dedique a una persona que ame demasiado y amo. Lástima que siempre me iso sufrir.
Hermoso tema !!!!
E essa baixista, toca muito 😎🏅🚀✨
whoever said that rockers don't make love music does that and proves iS This IS love

His voice has gone now but in his day was amazing thanks for good times
That dude killed the solo
Tany on bass,Ampeg rules ❤
I am just getting into whitesnake and I feel absolutely horrible. I feel horrible because he canceled his tour because of upper respiratory stuff and I really wanted to go see them
The guitar solo saved the song
But bass ruined the rest 🫠
I alwaysd thought Don't turn away was a much better song or looking for love.....little known fact the original title for this song was; Love, what is it good for
The bass is too loud
and her tone is awful
I hope that they will be better the next show.
@@thevanburenagency6664 sounds like she plays it with her fingernails straight into the mixboard

Tase teada, suvel meitemail. 👌
Do you have more of the gig?
35 yıl geçmiş aradan. Biz yaşlandık şarkılar yaşlanmadı.
What happened to his voice? Not sure the bass is in tune?
Tommy aldric greatt drumer
Пенсионер должен выступать на даче. Бас понравился.
Come on ? The guy is 70 years old still getting up there. Most people would have retired or be in hospice at that age.
I was in Stockholm last year and the voice was 😢 bad, this was the last perfomance lucky I've seen Whitesnake 6 times earlier,Tany O'Callagan was awesome on her Sadowsky!
I don't like that bass tone, and it's too noticeable, i.e loud
The bass is way too overbearing in this....
and her tone is awful
David Coverdale: Aw, fart.

Bass sound is fxxk and terrible 😞
