SKID-FLIP❗😈 🔱 | DV8 Trouble Maker Pearl

- When the Trouble Maker came out, it brought brand new patent-pending core technology to the world for no thumb bowlers. Since I use my thumb, the ball was more of a benchmark, smoother reacting ball. Now, we introduce the Trouble Maker Pearl with HK22 Inciter XTREME for maximum skid-flip reaction for a symmetrical bowling ball.
Let's see just how angular this ball can get from all angles!

With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

Could it be an 1.2 punch with Teal Rhino pro?
I'm so excited about this ball. I can't wait until it's released. I hope it lives up to the 1st troublemaker.
I can't wait to get mine.
Wow 😮. I’ve been looking for another piece with the wow factor, and this is definitely it. I’ve got to get this one. And I’ve never thrown DV8 before. Thanks for another great video.
Similar to the Zig Zag which has broken in nicely for me. Speed dominant player that prefers smooth balls but the Zag and this will allow players like me to learn to open up the lane and play the wheel smoothly! 🎉🎉🎉
WOW I love the snap back. Sad I missed the original and thanks to Hammer looks like I'll be missing this one too. It does remind me of my Widow Darkness love that ball
Do I match up with this ball? Who cares look at it! What a gorgeous ball.
I’m so hype about this ball!! Thanks for the video cause Ive been waiting for someone to give us one. Very informative
A buddy of mine was telling me about DV8 Trouble Maker and he was hoping I check it out if I decide to practice two handed style. He's trying to get me to switch to two handed and I will always say, I need more time to practice that maybe once I graduate I will try it.
I have no idea what to look for when looking at these bowling ball. I’ve always just been a casual bowler but join my first league last year. Had a lot of fun and wants to learn more but I keep watching all these videos of the ball and to me it all just looks the same. Always hear things like cleaner, smoother, stronger, etc but I just can’t see it. It just looks like a ball going down the lane then hooking.
Watch Nicks demo of the Mindset then watch this video pay attention to how early the Mindset starts and how smooth it rolls then compare it to this. Watch them back to back
Looks great
How does this ball compare to the freakshow flip? Loved the skid flip action on it big backend
@@keithmahler4236 don’t think I ever had that one. Gotta think this flares more and has a stronger cover.
This ball reminds me of the kinetic cobalt… very angular on the back end with the hk22 cover base.
Would love to see a comparison video of the two as I have the kinetic cobalt. 👍🏼
I must have a dud kenetic cobalt. Drilled it 70x5x30 and it only flares an inch and hardly hooks 🤔
@@mikek4581 I have to stay behind it and roll mine because it is so angular. Even rolling it, it makes a strong move that is angular. The lanes I bowl on for league are medium oil.
Mine is drilled pin above bridge with mass biased kicked out to the right between 4 & 5 o’clock. I believe the layout is 20 by 4 1/2 by 30. It flares a lot. Gets down the lane and just turns a corner. Whenever I put the mass bias near the thumb, My ball doesn’t hook right to left on a house shot. It tends to be pretty straight. @@mikek4581
I love DV8 bowling balls and this one is one I’ve been waiting for hopefully it performs just as good as the previous trouble maker
Not only is it for 2 handers, but high Rev guys.
Hi Nick! Love the new ball videos and the ball reaction always looks sick. But that’s for a new ball. After dozens of games, ball reaction will probably be different from new.
So any plans for new vs used ball reaction type videos, or comparing ball reaction before and after detoxing, etc?
Likely no. I never put that many games on my stuff.
Hey Brunsnick, awesome video, what layout do you have for this dv8 trouble maker pearl ? That ball looks mean!!!
Thank you, have an amazing day.
Oops, never mind, I saw it at about 3 minutes 9 seconds into the video.
Thank you.
Have you thrown a DV8 collision (the og hybrid one)? If so, how does it compare to this ball? Looking for something a step down from the collision. I’m a two handed rev dominant bowler.
I did not throw that one.
Kinda reminds me of the Prowler a little.
Colors are pretty close!
@brunsnick obviously the Trouble Maker Pearl is way more skid-flippy, just looks like it going down the lanes. Easy to pick it up down lane with those colors.
Trouble Maker pearl send it and bend it 🎳
Cool video talk tech bowling ball dv8 trouble maker pearl bowling ball with dot technology drill anywhere technology and dynamic core technology in the bowling ball more strike and spares hitting power at time Brunsnick
Love it thanks
man alive i buy alot of equipment on your recommendation's., lol. is there any chance you have a short pin video in the works? thanks for all you do.,
I don’t at the moment.
Nice vid I was thinking of getting this one I wonder whats your layout here?
60x4.5x20 like all my symmetrical balls. Pin pretty high over fingers.
As you move your feet, can you tell us where your target is? Thanks
He could if he wasn't throwing it out the window over an apple pie 😂
Great ball review! I’m thinking about getting rid of 2 bowling balls, my Tenacity Grit and GB4 Pearl as both have kinda just not matched up to how i would think they would, in your opinion would this one be a good replacement for the GB4? Just looking for something exactly like this shape where i can get left and not have to worry about my stuff hooking too early.
It would be good, maybe a little more angular.
hai nick, im 2 handed no tumb player just play bowling like 1-2 month only currently play 12lbs. which ball 12lbs better for me? trouble maker pearl? Ultimate Defender? or black widow 2.0 hybrid?
Trouble Maker Pearl.
@@brunsnick thanks nick
7:43 and keep tapping it. 😂😂
Yes I’m immature.
Apple pie.... 😮
Hey Brunsnick how do you think this compares to the DV8 Brutal Collision? Which do you think is better for a house shot?
This is probably a little more versatile for more style of players being symmetrical.
Hello. What ball would you recommend for someone that throws it suitcase style and very low revs? Also I’m 70 years old but should be able to throw a 15lb ball. Thank you for your help
I’m thinking something mellow like NU Blue Hammer or Rhino Pro Teal.
"Let's go trouble maker".... sorry I thought you were talking about me...
I throw 1 hand but feel like i can play any line a 2 hander can.
@brunsnick can u teach me how to layout the two handed layouts?
All the resources and video series how to’s are on the DV8 website and UA-cam.
@brunsnick I don't understand them , I tried . The first time I did it the ball rolled right through the middle of the fingers , normally I just clip the middle
Didn’t you strike every time with the original?
Good question. I think I sent a ton of messengers but don’t think I struck every shot.
@@brunsnick Ah yes. Getting lined up then a single miss leaving the 4 9. Not bad with just 1 real miss. But tons of action in the rack from the original. I think if you ever needed to move in a lot, this line is your jam!
@@chuckbaker9196 I agree! Much more alive with the HK22 Pearl
Hello Nick! How would you compare this to the Track Theorem?
They’re somewhat similar, this might be a touch less hook overall.
@@brunsnick Is it worth getting both? One is asymm and the other symmetrical?
@@scottshiira6551 probably don’t need both unless they are very different surfaces.
So how would you compare this ball to the Violent Collision?
A step down overall hook I think. Shapes similar.
If you have slower speed with a ball like this. Should you polish it?
You can, but it’s pretty shiny out of box. Try it first and see. 👍🏻
@@brunsnick just asking because I did it with my envy tour pearl and it made it more versatile and faster on the fresh.
Absurd ball.
