@strawbaleinnovations Thanks for the reply, great to hear its not cement. I come from the UK so I know lime plaster has incredible durability etc but as with everything there is ying and yang. How do you mix your lime? I gotta thing for earthern plasters as it captures the essence of natural building which is what attracts me to straw and cob, you can literally sculpt your house with your hands. Just speaks to my soul I guess. For the wire mesh, what about EMF, have you done any readings?
@strawbaleinnovations Which details are you refering too. I am not that into chicken wire myself ( unless proven otherwise) as there are plenty of videos I have collected where people just put an earthern mix straight on the walls. Also if its cement stucco well thats even worse. A real last resort.
If it all started in Nebraska then why is there 300 year old straw bale barns and houses in Europe and North America. France .UK.New Mexico.Hey Sven straw bale been around for awhile nothing new only rediscovered.By a bunch of Sven's in Nebraska.xD lmao

please, tell me a bit more about these 300 year old strawbale machines.
best so far...
It's NOT ecological if it's gathered from a modern monoculture. Very interesting and useful though.

Invented by "Scandinavian Immigrants"? - haven't heard this racial slant on the Nebraska story before. Sounds dodgy.
