Using an aerial dodge while an item is coming towards you will allow to to pick it up right out of the air. It only works with items that the player is able to grab, as is the case with Mega Man's Metal Blade projectile.

For those wondering, second MVD stock, he directional air dodged right and I want to say up but IDK, and Ally capped him just before, so he fast fell into the blast zone with no Cypher.

Of course it depends what you define as "spamming." Is 50% projectiles spamming? All attacks projectiles?
You can't win with only projectiles high level but you could with maybe 70% of your attacks being them especially in matchups where you want to be defensive (DK)
Amadeous Magarev I agree. It’s just cool to see people using Belmont’s technical aerials too. But projectiles definitely have their place in many matchups and are a necessity for Belmonts to use effectively
