Is it possible to connect 3 Unifi cameras to the Unifi dream machine, because I want to have a wifi router at home Or just buy a dream machine pro and plug-in those 3 cameras and an extra wifi point. Currently, I am more interested in a wifi home router to which I will connect 3 cameras in the future, do dream machine and dream machine pro have the same settings for wifi.?
If you are planning to add UniFi Cameras then select UniFi Dream Machine Pro. It has Network Controller, Protect Controller, Access Controller and soon Talk Controller : unifi-network.ui.com/dreammachine
Nice video! I'm a newbie and I have some questions, my provider's network name is My Home, can the network created by my AP have the same name? My provider's network is in the 192.168.1.1 range, will the AP continue in that range? thank you
Of course you can you use the same WiFi name(SSID). When you connect a UniFi Access Point in your home network it will take automatically an IP address from your router so in your case the access point will take an ip address like 192.168.1.x
