HI. I have one question. I have 40 volt battery and 400W 6-60V 16A BLDC 3 Phases DC Hall Brushless Motor Driver as you have in video. Can i use switch on battery power. it is not dangerous that i use 40V Battery using Switch? on-off 40v battery using switch it will be dangerous? i think it will be dangerous what you think? it will be more good that battery will be always on and red light on the board will be flashing the whole day? it is not dangerous that battery charging voltage also on the board switch? one time when i try just connect and disconnect 40V battery it had spark.
HI I am using a similar setup, ZS-X11H V1 motor control boards and ex hoverboard motors, 350Watt, driven with a 12 V battery for test purposes, built into a small land vehicle. What is the white remote control unit you are using in one of your videos to control the ZS-X11H board please? Ken
Hi, I am trying to use this module (on a 12V system), and I seem to have the sensor and motor wires all connected in the correct order, driven by a 3V3 PIC controller PWM and logic signals. I can run the motor forwards and reverse, but sometimes it won't start, and I have to flip the direction forward-&-back to get the motor to start up. Also, it runs at full speed in one direction (about 330 RPM), but only half speed in reverse (about 170 RPM). Any tips?
@@MKRCLabs I got it - the motor wire colours do not match the sensor colours. Trial-and-error and it runs like a Swiss watch - smooth and full speed in both directions.
I have the same controller. The hall lines from the controller from left to right are black-green-yellow-white-red. The hall lines from the motor are black and red for power and green-yellow-blue. I did connect black-black, red-red, green-green, yellow-yellow and white-blue. Is this correct? I didn't know what to do with the blue wire from the motor. You also connect it to white from the controller?
@@MKRCLabs It has very little torque when I start the motor. I need to push it a little bit to get everything going. Low speed torque is not that good. Maybe that is normal and not due to wrong wire connection. Also how can I reverse the rotation of the motor? I don't mean the reverse funtion of the controller, that is working fine. I tried swapping 2 of the 3 motor power wires but it won't turn. Do I need to change the hall sensor wires as well?
How i can get the inverse direction without using the reverse button ? I have two blcd motor and i want to theme turn in opposite of each other how i can doit?
How it is possible that a 36 volt 4AH battery, (which is only 144 watts/hr,) easily drives 2×250 watt=500 watts of Hoover board motors ? I need to know the logic,so please do reply,
@@MKRCLabs that's my question brother, original battery supplies only 144 watts in total to controller, but motor requirements are 250 watt for each motor, for both motors 500 watts needed, then from where the extra watts being supplied to motors,
The Battery can provide 144 continuous Watts over one hours. It can also provide 288 Watts over 30 mins. Hope you get the Logic. Also the Motors dont always draw 250 Watts each, the power consumption depends on the load of the Motors.
ZH X11A/B/S drives the motor with a series of On-OFf pulses it adjusts the duty cycle while keeping the frequency constant the speed output varies based on the speed demand input 4 which is speed input voltage 0 to+5 volts
Hello sir, Am using raspibery pi to control the BLDC motor using same driver. One thing is it's works fine using potentiometer provided in motor driver circuit. But if i use code to control through Raspberry pi it's not working. Code has no error.
Hi, thank you for this excelente video. This controller have a brake funtion. Is possible use this funtion like regenerative brake system and load battery while wheel are braking??

Use High amp switch

Good try but did you check on off not good switching
@@MKRCLabs Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Ken
Close contact is break and open contact is run it should be oposite

this motor controler is suitable for e bike projects limit 350w blcd motors !?
One of your wires has 5volt on it. Is that coming from a 5 volt source? Like another battery? Or is the board itself suppling the 5 volt to that wire?
On board

If bldc motor running fine

So check voltage and try to change hall sensor wires and motor all three wires
Could you tell me what kind radio control would work with ZS-X11H motor controller
I use exp32 / Lora also possible and Long range also I tried
will this controller work with a thumbthrottle? 🤔 instead of Potentiometer
Yes thumthrottle has potentiometer in side only difference it has spring bring back to intial position

Change the phase or hall sensors
Motor doesn't sound healthy;/ are you sure those phases are connected correctly?
Inter Change the cables input Hall sensors or supply phases to motor both ways possible (position changing)

Yes
