PLEASE LIKE, AND SUBSCRIBE!!! It helps more than you know! This one shows a 2nd floor dryer vent run down the wall and out between the first and second floors. I was there 14 months previously and didn't expect the amount of lint in the dryer duct! If you have long-haired pups, dryer vent maintenance is a MUST to keep your family safe! Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

Thanks for the detailed explanation us usual!
You're very welcome! Thank you!
This is such a critical part of home maintenance and yet I have seen vents that were so clogged I have no idea how the clothing ever dried. Lint is such a severe fire hazard and this job and the way the installers jam those cheap vents all curled on a brand new dryer amazes me. Great work, I bet the owner has no idea you may have saved her from a potential fire. Here's a laugh, I'm out cleaning my dryer vent after every use but my vent is right outside my door so it's really easy. Nice job. Love a contractor who cleans up.
I really appreciate your kind words and for watching! So many people are unaware of the dangers lurking in their dryer vent! Hence why I finally started my channel! There's not enough education out there regarding this and my goal is to change that!
I hear that a drone makes the job of finding the vents a bit easier than having to climb a ladder more times than necessary. Great work and you were so quiet inside the house!
HAHAHAHAHA! Problem is I keep using them for personal fun and CRASHING them! Also, I work on a lot of high end homes and last thing I want to do is crash it into someone's home... But more so the recreational use vs business use!!! lol
Thank you for educating people about this hidden danger! Very important info!
Great video!
Thanks!
Nice video!
The birds would use that lint for there nests
100%! Boy Scout troops use it as well to teach the boys how to easily start a fire with the lint!!! I have a troop master that'll take EVERY bit I can save for him! Thx Bobbi!
Great job! Thanks for the explanation! 💖 even tho it was worse than you expected, it made for a Great video! 😍😊
Great feedback! I really appreciate you checking out the videos!!!
Great video ! What is the name of that brush that you’re using and where can I buy one ? Thanks
I thought I responded however I use a NIKRO Industries, 33' rotary brush kit with a 4" brush head.
Are the tiles ment to move that much or is there another way to fix the vent another way
I apologize however not sure of your question... Which tiles are you speaking of? Thx for watching!!!
@@advsLLC when you was cleaning the roof tiles were lifting up as they are placed on top of the vent
@@annahawthorne4904 OH! My bad! Yes, the shingles will absolutely move when I'm putting stress on the roof damper. Especially when running a brush through the system. Main reason is when installing the roof damper, the roofers can't nail the flashing down anywhere that won't be covered by the shingles. Therefore, the front, or lower side of the damper flashing, typically won't be fastened as tight to the roof decking.
@@advsLLC thank you
If the vent goes to the roof, do they always have to be cleaned from the top down? I got my vent cleaned, first time in this house that we moved to. And now the dryer is over heating. We never had issue before. The guy came back and said it is the vent issue and he said there might be a damper gate that stuck. :-( We never had issue before. I just wanted to be cleaned.
You must really like being up high!
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
