Watched a video yesterday from another prominent UA-camr and pictures were of huge rooms. She had no idea what she was talking about likely as her home is huge.

Hi friend, please don't be so quick to judge. I also have large rooms in a large home. But there are a few small areas in the house that I found some great ideas for here. Under the stairs is my next target for reno. Old houses are notorious for lack of storage ✌🏽
If you use the magnet knife holder, hot tip not to mount it on the back of a large cupboard door. My dad did this, and a knife went flying when someone opened the cupboard door really quickly.

Hi nick! Would really love your ideas on how to utilize the space under the stairs.
Shelving, pull-out drawers for extra shoes, books, luggage, or decor. Depending on where the staircase is located (e.g. entryway, basement, living room, bedroom), you fill it with the excess things that relate to that zone's purpose thus creating efficient space.
I've seen people use that under stairs area to create a reading nook for kids, a hideaway/resting spot for pets, a mini office (enough for a desk, chair, shelf, lighting)

Ask your vet? There’s a bit of consideration for hygiene and also cat behaviour aka poop area vs play area…
There are some great options out there depending on the size of your cat there are cabinets or end tables if they’re big or I’ve seen faux potted plants with an opening in the back if they’re small.
