"Sandbox RPG" includes running around and fighting a bunch of stuff, if that's how you want to play the game. Edit B: This is not an aimless "Everything game". ZatCD is at its core a story based RPG with a focus on world building and lore. I expect most people to explore the game, do quests, following the main story, beat stuff up, etc. When I say "I want you to play this game how you want", I'm referring to a fascination I had in my youth with the concept that in Morrowind you could play as a rogue, stealing and fencing items, leveling up your character without ever having to fight a monster. It's not the typical way to play the game, but to this day I'm fascinated with that idea. This game doesn't expect you to play that way, but if you do then I will be including some gameplay hooks to encourage this. I explained it pretty humorously in one of my livestreams: ua-cam.com/video/avBiShOvbGE/v-deo.html Edit C: For those comparing this to Stardew Valley, this game is primarily an RPG. There are factions you can align with or against, quest lines, companions and pets, dungeon crawling in an open world setting, an in-depth enchanting, blacksmithing and cheese crafting mechanic, a combat system I've spent years refining, bosses, elite enemies (like mini-bosses but randomly generated with normal enemies), a world threatening main story line where you face off against a tyrannical demon god at the end, etc. The sprinkling of slice of life stuff is just there to help you get immersed in the world. Edit D: I wasn't devastated that the Kickstarter failed. I was devastated that the demo was a flop. I actually didn't care about the Kickstarter. That's a whole other topic in itself, but essentially I didn't like that I was selling off parts of the game that was so sentimental to me. I regretted it almost immediately after I hit launch, which I won't be doing again if I do another Kickstarter. Edit E: I'm getting some comments saying it's too soon for a Kickstarter or showing concern about it. I'm not even thinking about the Kickstarter right now. I'm just setting up the page and building a following over time. That could be a long ways off if I even launch the Kickstarter. I would rather prepare for it now instead of what happend last time where the Kickstarter Page was approved literally the day before launch. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. Sorry for all the edits, lol. Getting a lot of FAQs this video. Howdy, everyone! Oh boy, I can’t tell you how excited I am to be making videos on Zoe and the Cursed Dreamer (ZatCD) again. I mean, the video process itself is exhausting, but chatting with you guys once it’s done is the best. So.. How have you been? I'm glad you're not giving up. I only recently discovered your channel thanks to the UA-cam algorithm, but as someone working on making a similar style of game I find your dev logs inspiring.
Thank you! Yeah, the algorithm picked up on my AI video again a week before I planned to come back, haha. That timing tho. xD Glad you enjoy the devlogs.
srsly though, youtube devloggers should just face the fact that they're likely not gonna finish their game, but that doesn't mean they can't make good content out of the process. Just start a new project and devlog that once you're done with a dead-end one
I'm really happy you're working on this again - I really feel all the heart you put into it and was sad you might of been too deflated by the Kickstarter to keep trucking. I feel after this video I understand more about what you want the project to be than I ever did after watching all the older devlogs and I can't wait to see what you create, in your own time. :) Good luck!
Thank you, Fevir! Yeah, my goal this episode was to really get that across, lol. In the old series everyone seemed to be confused about what I was trying to do. Sometimes I'm not the best at explaining things, haha. See your around. :)
Wow I just came across your channel a few days ago and thought "Aw its a shame they aren't uploading anymore, the content was great!" then I saw this today. Looking forward to more dev logs!
I am so glad you're back. I was so disheartened when I saw you weren't updating any more. You're a really good teacher, with an excellent teaching voice.
This is awesome! Love to see you back to this project.. This new rework looks so much more awesome and alive, and I'm sure you've made it more sustainable to build considering that you've rewritten it
Indeed. I learned a lot when making that to really improve my workflow. I forgot to mention this but it was also to better keep my code in sync with reQuest as they share a lot of similar code and I'm developing them together. When I branched off with reQuest I did everything different from ZatCD, lol.
@@GameEndeavor Clever use of your energy on both projects, so what you said about taking time, getting it right and not worrying about deadlines really makes even more sense👌🏻 Either way, glad to see new content, your channel is extremely informative and helpful, sharing your years of experience with us newbs
@@jasonesterhuizen2089 Thanks! Yeah, the way I see it, ZatCD is a project for fun that I'm passionate in. reQuest is something to hopefully get my name out there more as a developer. It's more for business. :) Take care, bud.
Recently got into Gamedev, which has been slow since I had no previous coding knowledge either. I started watching your vids a couple days ago for inspiration and am SO happy to see youre back! This project specifically peaked my interest a lot. Love seeing all the animals/monsters run around and interact with eachother.
Thank you! Yeah, it's tough starting out, haha. I tried making this game over a decade ago and literally spent half a year making and inventory system and a shop. xD Thanks for watching!
Yay! I’m glad you’re continuing it. I was genuinely excited by many of the things you said previously about the NPCs and things, so the fact that you’re continuing is great.
Love your honesty in this Devlog and some really wise words around not putting any deadlines aka pressure on yourself - something I'm learning as I start my gamedev journey in Godot. You've got another sub - keep up the great work.
Thank you! I still have deadlines, but only I know what they are and I'm free to adjust them throughout development. I start my week off by assessing my timeline, and deciding what tasks I want to have completed by the end of the week. It really helps keep me focused, but it's not pressure like last time. Last time it was getting so bad I was having trouble sleeping, haha. I have no desire to do that again. Good luck with game development, bud. It's something that has brought me a lot of joy.
@@GameEndeavor Cheers mate, I'm using it a distraction from my real-life/full-time job, so whilst I struggle with terminology/concepts/etc I feel rewarded and refreshed when I see something happen.
You're the best (and my favorite) devlog. Not only are you entertaining but also I've been learning a lot from you for my own game. I'm impressed with your game development and excited to see it continue! It's definitely amazing work that you do!
I only recently discovered you and your work, so I didn't have the chance to support you last time, but I certainly will this time. I'm glad you circled back around to this game. Keep on keeping on.
Wishing you a lot of success for the future of your game - your love and passion for the game is clear and I feel as long as you don't lose sight of that, you'll have a finished product that the players will love, too.
Glad to see you're still working on this game. Also, you need to make sure that it makes you happy to work on it. It needs to be something you're proud of so I understand reworking it since you wasn't happy with it. Goodluck with it andI look forward to seeing it completed.
I was pretty sad to see the game not reach its goal on kickstarter and also see you step away from the game. I am a game dev myself and completely understand having to step away for a while after putting so much love and time into something just to feel that it has slipped from your grasp, but seeing that you're back at it makes me overjoyed and excited for your future videos and to see you accomplish your goals. Your videos help game devs more than you know. Just keep going and don't give up because you have the talent and the eye for this type of stuff. Take care and good luck :)
Thank you. :) Yeah, sometimes you just need to take a step back. I think it's better for the project because now I've come back at it with a clearer head and knowledge from some lessons learned.
wow I don't ever remember a demo being released. but I'm glad you're working on this again. tbh, I'm glad you're gonna take a undetermined amount of time. I'm not in a financially stable situation right now so I can't afford to even buy games, but I'm hoping I can buy it myself when you are finished. plus you make great dev logs, with beautifully looking content. even it it takes another year for one, I'll gladly wait that time for your perfectionistly polished video and game
Thank you! Yeah, I enjoy game development a whole lot more when I'm working at my own pace, so this will be a lot better for me. :) Good luck with your situation, bud.
Thank you! You're very kind. :) I'm not on break to be sure, just haven't been posting videos. I am working on one that I hope to post by the end of this week though. :)
this project seems very interesting as a concept. The roleplay npc and the fact that you can play it however you want is amazing. would totally play it.
After editing and releasing my own dev log. I am impressed by the quality these. I've watched a few of these and always enjoy the content and format of the videos. Basically good job, and thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you. :) Yeah, they take a lot of time and effort to make. I need to get faster at it though, because it takes way too long to make a video, haha.
Wow, I am sorry to hear about what happened to your previous run but the phoenix that rose from the ashes seems to be more than anyone could have imagined! I also wanted to say THANK YOU for outlining how you've put together your updated attack animation! It's something I've been absolutely struggling with putting together in a flexible way and so that was incredibly insightful!
Thank you! No need to be sorry, it was absolutely for the best. I'm the type of person that learns from my mistakes, and that bump in the road did a whole lot more good than harm. :) Glad you liked the attack animation, imo it's so much better this way.
It can be indeed very daunting working on something while pressured by selfmade deadlines... I am happy to hear you are once again enjoying and having fun while making games :) Keep it up
Love to see you didn't throw everything in the trash and instead improved what you already had, that's the right way to do things, not dodge but to approach problems and fix them like a real man💪
It's good to see Zoe is back! I've been wondering where those videos about that gorgeous and promising game had gone! I'm really looking forward to play it when it reaches the point where it fits your vision. So it's a pleasant wait, without rush, enjoying video logs.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. Oh I can't wait to get it to that point, haha. But we must take our time, it'll get there eventually. xD Take care, bud. :)
LESSGOOOOO!! Your still going at it with these amazing devlogs!! I REALLY love when games or media explore character dynamics, personalities and development :]
I saw an old dev blog on the ai of the enemies of the game and thought it looked really cool! When I looked for a demo or the full game to try out and saw it wasn't gonna come out outside the demo I was pretty worried but then I check the channel and saw you're tarting it up only yesterday I was ecstatic! Can't wait to watch through future devlogs!
Thank you! Yeah, just needed to reset my head. :) I'm ecstatic to be working on it again. Few things have ever brought me as much joy, lol. I'll see you around!
I wouldn't worry too much. This game is very sentimental to me. I will make it or die trying, lol. Even if there are a few bumps in the road along the way. :)
I really like the art style and I'm glad this project is back, will definitely check it out. One point of feedback though, you said the game isn't focused on combat and that was more of a filler feature, but a good 80% (didn't count but it was my impression) of the gameplay shown is combat, just thought it was a little contradictory. I'm not quite sure if you ended up wanting it to be an important feature or not, but so far the message I'm getting from the game with all the enemies everywhere is that combat is an integral part of the experience.
The point I tried to make is that that is most of what I have to work with right now because it's the most developed feature in the game atm due to me wanting to get it out of the way. I don't have footage of me decorating my house or gathering materials for smithing or the smithing process itself, any of that because it doesn't exist yet. On the otherhand, combat is developed enough to show it off. Even the little bit of non-combat footage took forever to put together for the video, hence the little note I wrote. :) I want this to change in the future, but for the moment it isn't possible. So that was just me telling you to not expect this game to be focused on combat despite the fact that combat is mainly what you're seeing atm.
@@GameEndeavor Ahh got you. I misunderstood a little. It reminded me a bit of Mark of the Ninja where they made a fairly deep combat system but then they wanted the player to not rely on it and use stealth instead so it conflicted with the design. In the end they simplified the combat to better convey the design of the game. That doesn't seem to be the case in this game since it's part of the options a player may want to focus on. I'm glad combat is done then and you can move on to the more important features, I didn't know I wanted to make cheese in a game till today. And hey thanks for all the videos you made through the years, they really help me getting started with Godot :)
@@partysnorlax oof, I can imagine that, haha. Hadn't heard that story. I cut a line from the video that said "or you could just run around fighting everything if you want" lol. If the player wants to focus on combat then that's cool too. :) I expect there will be a lot of people like that. But the game is mostly focused on the sandbox nature. Cheese crafting is interesting, lol. It's inspired by Dragon Quest VIII where you could get various odd cheeses that do fun things. Kinda like a potion crafting system.
@@GameEndeavor Well last time I went on a planned hiatus was 3 years ago and I still haven’t touched that project again lol. Good on you for being more dedicated than me is what I really meant.
I am head over heels for this game you have been working on for so long.(ZatCD) I just now caught wind of all that this is. I pray you reach where you strive to be, and I hope you can release the game relatively soon! I know these things take time, and your concept is so original and free. As you could say... I'm ready to invest. TAKE MY MONEY!
It actually shouldn't take too much longer. Mechanically speaking I believe I have much of the vertical slice. I need to figure out the art for all the different areas which will take a while, but it's getting there. The game hasn't been in development for that long though. All told a little more than a year of development time. The break I took makes it seem longer than it actually is, lol. Hopefully I'll be able to take it soon. xD Take care, bud.
@GameEndeavor thanks for taking time out of your day to read and reply to me! Whenever I'm looking for creative insight I look at the world of "Kingdoms of Amular Re-reckoning" I think it's so beautiful. And I have a donation budget set for every month. So just let me know where to throw my money! lol
So glad to see this project is still alive! I always thought this was something special, and the more I hear about your design goals, the more I'm certain of it. I wish you the very best on this journey, my friend-take your time! Relish that lack of deadline! I think the very specific blend of sandbox RPG mechanics you have envisioned could make for something really unique and beautiful. Stay awesome, God bless you!
@@GameEndeavor Glad to hear it! You take care, too, my friend! As an artist who is trying to create in spite of partial blindness and paralysis, I am always inspired to see artists pursuing their dreams. Embrace the long road!
Thank you! Yeah, when I had the idea to do the weapon swinging as dynamic animations, was excited to implement it, haha. Still needs some tweaking, but I love how it looks vs how it did.
Thank you, procrastinator! Not sure if you mean concise as in I explained it better or I have a more clear picture of what I want. If the latter then the game actually hasn't changed at all. I just learned from people's confusion in the last series, and made it my mission to explain it better, haha. Take care, bud. :)
@@GameEndeavor The overall explanation about what you want with the game indeed. I'm no specialist, but I suppose it helps people to have more tangible goals when contributing to the campaign and/or following the development process (even though I enjoyed the previous devlogs quite a lot purely for the advanced godot/prog trickery on them). The new art-style choice also seems like a big boost in productivity, so hopefully it'll help you to avoid burn outs too ... hell, it's hard for me to avoid them even when I'm just doing prog/gd, can't even imagine it if I had to draw and animate so many damn sprites along with it lol
@@the_procrastinator8606 Absolutely, even feedback on my Kickstarter was that people didn't know what my goal was, haha. Will do that better this time, haha.
I watched your devlog on ZatCD a few days ago and was sad to see that the channel has been quiet for awhile, so imagine my pleasant surprise to see it upload just a few days after!
Just found this channel a couple of months ago and was wondering what you'd been up to since the last video (I don't use Discord). Nice to see you haven't given up on your passion project and weren't afraid to start over "from scratch" as it were when you felt something wasn't working. I personally have some projects that I haven't touched in years because they need a ground-up overhaul, so I know how daunting a task that can be. Keep up the good work!
This is very weird that I got recommended your "The Trick I Used to Make Combat Fun! | Devlog" video and then checked to see if your game was out, to find this video. UA-cam picked a weird time to push your videos but I'm here for it!
That's not even the half of it, lol. The algorithm picked up on that video a week before I planned to return. They gave me nearly 100k views the week leading up to this video. Glad to have you here!
@@GameEndeavor That is seriously crazy dude, the algorithm has been weird because recently I stopped watching my normal content, and started delving super deep into indie games, almost filling up my desktop with icons for little $5 games I was mass-playing. I was watching a bunch of stuff like that recently and started getting recommended it too, guess I've transitioned and now I'm part of a new audience or something. Can't complain though, I'm finding so many hidden gems this is amazing!
Glad to see you're working on this again, and happy that you're explicitly re-framing what the game is supposed to be to your audience. Watching the original devlogs, I definitely was under the impression this was a combat-focused game, with some life sim town stuff to supplement the core game loop. I was definitely thrown trying the demo out. Setting expectations is important and I think you did a great job here. Looking forward to future development!
Thank you! Yeah, that was my main goal with this video. As the older devlog series progressed, it came to my attention that this wasn't clear, lol. I'm glad I was able to clear it up. See you around!
Glad to hear it! That's never an issue, so don't worry about that. The project means too much to me. I just needed a little hiatus to clear my head. :)
lol, you're telling me. The algorithm picked up my AI video a week before I planned to come back, haha. Went from 1k views a day to 10k a day for the past week. xD
@@GameEndeavor haha that's the one I came in from. Glad you're getting some traction thanks to the algo, fingers crossed it keeps going. Keep it up, your pixel art is great, and I'm enjoying your vids.
Glad to see your back on this! Sandbox sounds good, especially with your good combat system :) nothing is more fun that smashing enemies around with good movement and rhytm
Excited to be back! Indeed, I think it'll be a nice compliment. I find combat to be more engaging when I'm using gear that I've forged and enchanted myself. Or when I can relax in between dungeons with some downtime in the village. :)
Super cool changes, new attack animation is exactly how I would imagine it and the 16x16 is super cool aswell (imo better than 24). Looking forward to the next video, whether it is a month or a year from now, take the time!
Yeah, it's way better than 24. reQuest looks great in 24, but it wasn't working for ZatCD. lol, hopefully won't be a year. 2-4 weeks I think. :) But I really appreciate that, thank you.
Keep it up 🙂. The fact that you set goals for yourself and push through the setbacks is what will make this (or anything) successful in the end. Not to mention having some of the most valuable Godot content on UA-cam 👍
I happened across the enemy combat video first and felt a little sad when you mentioned that the game failed. But I'm sure as Hell excited for the remake!

This is the embodiment of a pixel game that I've been longing for; a mix of stardew valley and zelda kind of like game with an rpg storyline and combat. And also this game heavily reminds me of pixel island survival game that I had on my phone years ago.
Glad you like the idea! It's something I've been longing for ever since I was a wee lad. Specifically I wanted Final Fantasy story and RPG elements with Link to the Past style open world / exploration. The slice of life concepts became desired after playing Harvest Moon Wonderful Life and wanting to take inspiration from that, haha. Less of that, because I personally get bored of that kind of gameplay pretty quickly, but I still want a splash of it to really help with the immersion and sandbox experience.

UA-cam's algorithm being the mystery it is can definitely present someone with a surprise every now and then. I'm so glad I stumbled on this and I'll definitely try to stay in the loop of this game's development. From everything you've described, it looks like a game I've envisioned since I was a kid, tooling around in rpgmaker (I'm absolutely no game dev btw lol). Your vision looks insane my dude, I genuinely wish you all the best in this endeavor.

Woah this game came a long way! I’m so glad you resume productions in it because the concept and art style is so freaking good! The fact you mentioned you want this to be similar to Skyrim in terms of the role playing made me really invested in this. Best of luck!
Thank you! Yeah, The Elder Scrolls series is one of my favorites. I love the idea of just exploring a world for the sake of it, finding items and little stories throughout the world, factions, and lots of world building. :) I'm excited for it.
@@GameEndeavor Hells yeah, baby. Full time. Doing a top down action adventure also, but more rogue-like. Heavy focus on swapping through weapons on the fly and crowd control.
cool to see you try again! literally just found ur channel an hour ago. the devs for one of my favorite games ever Vainglory all left it 2 years ago to work on a different project, leaving community run servers and one solo dev still trying to patch the game up. In fact, they recently came out with a new patch, first one since 2020! that timing lol solo game devs arent alone
I am making a top down roguelike myself and it's very interesting to see how you run into a lot of the same problems I do myself. Art is a big one, I settled on 16x16 tiles and actually went back from 4 directional sprites to purely having sideview player/enemies purely because of how much it reduces the work of animating all directions and actions. I currently use a rotating weapon as you do in your prototype but was thinking about either putting up a filter to pixelate the result or splitting the weapon in 8 different hand drawn directions.
Hahaha, indeed. I'm also thinking of doing the weapon at different angles! The 4 directions is sooo much work, especially with all of the animations I'm going to need + character customization. I wrote a tool to solve this though. I just need to make a shirt, hair style, or whatever from one side and that is used to generate the other animations. Very cool stuff, saves me a ridiculous amount of time. Need to change three pixels? Change them and laugh maniacally while you regenerate the texture. xD Good luck with your game!

You're a really good teacher, with an excellent teaching voice.
lol, thank you! It's funny, when I first started UA-cam, I thought I might not have the voice for it. xD
So glad you're working on ZatCD! I am making a similar game and you have been a massive motivator for me.
Glad to hear it. I'd love to play yours when you finish it. ❤️
This game looks so good, you’ve done a ton of work! Looking forward to more logs 🎉
Thank you! It's been a joy to work on. :D
@@GameEndeavor Clever use of your energy on both projects, so what you said about taking time, getting it right and not worrying about deadlines really makes even more sense👌🏻
Either way, glad to see new content, your channel is extremely informative and helpful, sharing your years of experience with us newbs
@@jasonesterhuizen2089 Thanks! Yeah, the way I see it, ZatCD is a project for fun that I'm passionate in. reQuest is something to hopefully get my name out there more as a developer. It's more for business. :) Take care, bud.
It's really great to see this project come back! Your devlogs about this game have been a huge inspiration for me
Eyyy, that's good to hear. Good luck with your projects! :)
I kept coming back to find no new uploads about this game, really glad to see it again, it's why I originally subscribed!
The games looking great! Good to know that ur doing fine again and working on the project!
Thank you. Indeed, I'm excited to be working on it. :D
Thank you! You're very kind. Glad you're learning, good luck with your game. :)
Thank you. That means a lot to me. :)
Glad to see you're still working on this game. Also, you need to make sure that it makes you happy to work on it. It needs to be something you're proud of so I understand reworking it since you wasn't happy with it. Goodluck with it andI look forward to seeing it completed.
Oh I'm very happy to work on it. No other project makes me as happy. Take care. :)
:) Good luck with your situation, bud.
your work is awesome and inspiring! Have breaks whenever you need, and take care of yourself, but don't give up! You have what you need to get it done
Thank you! You're very kind. :) I'm not on break to be sure, just haven't been posting videos. I am working on one that I hope to post by the end of this week though. :)
@@GameEndeavor Looking forward for this holiday gift

Glad to see this - I was just checking for updates on your project a few days ago
I’m glad to see this project is back. I loved watching the devlogs.
this project seems very interesting as a concept. The roleplay npc and the fact that you can play it however you want is amazing. would totally play it.
Thank you! I'm glad to hear it. :)
So excited to see more about this game. It's looking absolutely gorgeous, too!
Thank you! I am so proud of how this is looking, haha. It's wild to look back at the project when I started it.
Glad to see it back! I was one of the people to support the kickstarter and my heart broke for you when it didn’t meet its goal
Awww. Thank you, bud! I'm glad to see you're sticking with me. ❤️
These games look really amazing, I'm so happy that youtube's algorithm somehow recommended me one of your videos. ♥
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like them. ❤️
Great video! I am very much looking forward to this new journey.
Thanks, bud! I'm excited to be back on it. :D
Now that's what you call an epic comeback!
Thank you!
It can be indeed very daunting working on something while pressured by selfmade deadlines...
I am happy to hear you are once again enjoying and having fun while making games :) Keep it up
Thanks, bud! I still have deadlines, they're just secret and flexible, lol. I like having targets to aim for. :) Take care!
Love to see you didn't throw everything in the trash and instead improved what you already had, that's the right way to do things, not dodge but to approach problems and fix them like a real man💪
lol, indeed. I am nothing if not persistent and stubborn. 💪😂👍
ITS BACK!! Super excited to see the progress once again one of my favorite devlogs!

so happy to see a new devlog of you :D
I saw an old dev blog on the ai of the enemies of the game and thought it looked really cool! When I looked for a demo or the full game to try out and saw it wasn't gonna come out outside the demo I was pretty worried but then I check the channel and saw you're tarting it up only yesterday I was ecstatic! Can't wait to watch through future devlogs!
Thank you! Yeah, just needed to reset my head. :) I'm ecstatic to be working on it again. Few things have ever brought me as much joy, lol. I'll see you around!
Super excited to have you back! This has so much potential 🎉
Thank you! I'm excited to be working on it again. :D
After 1 year, you came back, I love your work, pls don't quit
I want this to change in the future, but for the moment it isn't possible.
The original game was one of the first game dev logs of yours I watched. I'm excited to see the updates as they come in!
Eyyy. That's cool to hear. Thanks for watching! :D
Ay welcome back! ZatCD is really inspiring to me, glad to be seeing it again, and glad you pushed through the rut rather than leaving it behind.
I wouldn't say I left it behind. It was a planned hiatus. I expected to return to it at some point. Thank you. :D
@@GameEndeavor Well last time I went on a planned hiatus was 3 years ago and I still haven’t touched that project again lol. Good on you for being more dedicated than me is what I really meant.

Good on your brother, that takes a lot of courage and persistence

The weapon animation looks waaaaaay better here. Really nailed the new designs.
Thank you! Yeah, when I had the idea to do the weapon swinging as dynamic animations, was excited to implement it, haha. Still needs some tweaking, but I love how it looks vs how it did.
I've been wondering where you went. Good to see you again.
Thank you. :)
seems much more concise now!
keep it up man
Thank you, procrastinator!

Just found this channel a couple of months ago and was wondering what you'd been up to since the last video (I don't use Discord). Nice to see you haven't given up on your passion project and weren't afraid to start over "from scratch" as it were when you felt something wasn't working. @@GameEndeavor it will be worth it
So happy you're back ♥️
This is very weird that I got recommended your "The Trick I Used to Make Combat Fun!
Great Video! Loved watching the premiere. Best part is the Legendary Weapon the Hero's Hammer!!!
Lafo's Hammer, lmao! I'm making a note of it now.
That animation idea sounds intriguing. Just tuning into your vids but happy to see you're not giving up. There is no failure only feedback

The secret to achieve perfection is trial and error.
Keep it up! Love the game.
Thank you! And indeed. A lot of my progress is made through trial and error, haha.
Striving for perfection, as an indie developer, is not a good thing. It ends up consuming you.
cool to see you try again! literally just found ur channel an hour ago. the devs for one of my favorite games ever Vainglory all left it 2 years ago to work on a different project, leaving community run servers and one solo dev still trying to patch the game up.
Been a watcher for a couple of years, love seeing you get more confident and skillful at game dev.
I think it’s super sweet how you reply to almost every comment! Think you’re one of the hardest workers I’ve seen lol, feel free to sit down and have a beer.
