I know this video might be a little older but I have a question and need your help. I am an atomic tank with mass and that being said I have manacles and eye equipped but I'm confused on what's better for my atomic tank between the refractor and the mystic symbol. Hopefully you can help me out.
The artifact that will help atomic the most would be Refractor, the aura heals are based on 2% of your max health which the Refrator will buff. The mystic is still good but you already have healing and increased defense as atomic.
You know that's one thing I don't understand either about adaptive augments like people want to use the same one they want to Stack it but there's no bonus if you stack them together similar to the regular augments. Like if you can get increase Precision from one adaptive augment and increase power health and might or weaponization on one adaptive augment use two different ones if it's going to benefit you because all stats are created equal because all stats can help you in all roles. Let's say your pool ability or your juggle ability for a tank if it's a superpower you're gonna need to have money you're going to need to have power you're going to have health to survive longer especially if you're using a weapon to tank you're going to have to have a f****** really good f****** precision.
I recently made the switch to Earth. I run with Eye of Gemini and Soul Cloak because I have two super charges on my tank loadout, pheromone bloom and metabolic boost. Every 12 seconds, one or the other is off cool down because of Soul Cloak. For my 3rd artifact slot, I use Manacles in boss fights and Mystic 7 in hallways. The rest of my loadout is Brick, Unstoppable, Gem Stone Shield, Earthen Grip.

I don’t run that loadout anymore. It was over a year ago. Now perfect poise is my only supercharge. On average, I use perfect poise every 36 seconds. Its cool down is 30 seconds, so Scrap isn’t necessary for my play style.
Nobody chooses perfect poise for heals, especially Earth tanks. Earth tanking is about damage mitigation. Perfect poise is one of the best abilities in the game for that. If everyone else dies, why make them wait to play again? Just wipe.

This needs to be updated since they adjusted the boss DMG to be just less than the over 30% threshold or won't trigger at all against 1 shots even though it says it's supposed to "blunt even the strongest attacks". Dc logic...make an art then adjust the DMG so it's useless....
The ultimate cola overwrites if you have an omega soder active. So if you have omega which gives 5% to all stats when you drink your ultimate you lose 4% on every stat

Gemini is meh compared to other tank arts now imo, low stats aren’t worth it for perfect poise even the refractor looking good with the new tank art rn
So you wouldn't consider lasso of Truth as a good tank artifact like when you literally read it it says your lasso iconic ability no longer pulls but instead tethers and taunts your target to you tatters non-target will be stunned and dragged towards you for 5 seconds incapable truth will constantly seek out up to a few seconds additional non-boss targets will be tethered towards the target you are trying to deal with and then while tether to an enemy you heal of all damage it receives. How is it not a good tank artifact like you're literally bring an enemies towards you fairly quick and you are also getting a form of healing like that's important for a tank you have to be able to heal and survive a pretty long time and to be able to keep that enemy off your players asses! When I look at artifact for a tank I look at it in terms of will the artifact be able to help you to more effectively keep an enemy's attention to keep them to you and not for them to run away towards your teammates that's how the ads in this game are designed they just are stupid they'll just run towards your teammates when you're the one attacking their stupid ass. I mean you could even use transformation card because when you have dark barjan it reduces your total damage and healing that's good for a tank because you do not want to be doing more damage you want to be trying to deal with the stupid enemies who's trying to kill your teammates. I always did a damage role i'm trying to more get into being a tank like I got the mechanic down I'm just trying to get the right artifacts the right Synergy so I can be more beneficial. I even been asking all their players who I play with in like a raid I've been asking them for feedback like how is my tank and what artifacts you recommend so I can get more fee back so I can get better at it.

You know just like in Destiny 2 with the Splendor helmet some people use certain mods I prefer using classy restoration so I can get my abilities to give me more restoration every time I pop my ability so I can survive longer and master content see that's how I want to play the game I want to be able to survive but I also want to be able to punch someone in the face constantly and let's say a dungeon LOL. It's the same thing with outriders there's so many people who say oh you must use this because a UA-camr told you to use this people can use whatever the f*** they want like use what you're comfortable with. I just hope people realize that your video is more like opinion-based because there are more than four artifacts in this game that's can specialize in the tank role. You could even use reflector you actually get healing or you could use the Mystic symbol of the seven we're basically every time you hit an enemy you increase your defense and you increase healing regeneration that could help a lot when you're in higher content and you're trying to tank because that way you'll get more Health you'll get more defense and if you combine that with let's say lasso of Truth you'll be able to pull those enemies towards you much more quicker because that's the thing about lasso of Truth it replaces the pool ability with a tether I'm guessing because I haven't tried it out yet I'm still upgrading it I'm guessing it's similar to the tether with the Hunter and Destiny 2 where you can tether a bunch of enemies and they just pull towards you but the only difference is when they are tethered in Destiny 2 they take damage over time
My Healer video one still stands there isn't any better options currently. My DPS video one still stands expect depending on the powerset you may want the new Pet artifact for damage but it wont be for all powersets.
I said this before and I say this again the stat point system needs to be reworked like it needs to be treated like the Mastery system and Elder Scrolls where you simply play the game you play high in content and you get stat points that's how it should be it should not be you doing stupid challenges because that's boring and tedious and people get tired of it just like how most people don't want to max out the artifact to 200 because at a certain point you have to play Old content to level it up and that's incredibly lazy design from Daybreak. As you know so many people don't even play the old content how are you supposed to level up your artifact of 200 in a effective way if there's nobody playing that particular content. Multiverse made a video just about that a couple years ago like that's just really f****** stupid if you think about it you have to play Old content to love open artifact once you hit a certain rank that's pretty f****** retarded like you would literally have to play Just bounties just to level up your artifact and that will take slower if you go on the route with bounties raid alert and Duo. Daybreak is not given enough incentive for players to come back and play older content like any moron would just play the new content they wouldn't go back and play Old content. I've seen so many people in red as saying the exact same thing how they want to go back and play Old content but there's no reason to play Old content because they actually want to use their max level to play the content they don't want to be downgraded they think that's really stupid and I think that's really stupid. Destiny 2 has a similar system with legendary missions for the legendary campaign where they downgrade your power and everybody f****** hates that because it makes you weaker than what you really are it's not a challenge it's just f****** annoying
you can't use your supercharge often enough to warrant running the soul cloak anymore after the changes. It is better to have an actual tank artifact passive stat bonus and effects always active rather than a supercharge you may or may not use every 30+ seconds.
the manacles, refrator and then your choice of another 5% health artifact. The new mystic symbol of the seven is good as well but if you don't want to invest the XP if you have a third artifact that gives 5% health than use than for now.
I run power artifacts on my earth because you lose your buffs when you block. And I made my tank a true elite hybrid. I can beat out poorly specced dps players and have all the adds on me
@@mzsym5075 crystal/fortify/godwave strength(grim verum artifact)/ jackhammer/epicenter if trash mobs, pebble blast if isolate the boss/gemstone shield(manicles artifact). I don't always use pulls because they aren't always needed because you taunt agro when you use your power in tank stance, if I do need a pull to pull an objective based NPC I'll throw in earthen grip and take out epicenter. I spec superpowered focus and when you level the grim verum up crystal won't hinder your power Regen. I get all the crits, and all my Dom 1st then I balance the rest between health, resto, precision, might/power and I put the most of that into might/power
Also when you have full elite gear you can transfer damage to your pet with the elite affinity. Crystal rarely dies in tank role and she hits anywhere between 52-71k when I use godwave and another 23-28k when I use fortify. Jackhammer is reactivate whenever it's off cooldown instead of spamming the Aftershock because the initial hit hits the hardest and it keeps your buff going. Until you meet a good troll, I strongly suggest getting your grim artifact up for this build

Sparring AI is useless, you get a 3 second immunity for counters anyway when you counter an add or something.

I have Bottled City Soder, but I use Soder Cola Ultimate. Nothing else in the game gives you 100% for health and power plus 1% in Vit, Dom ect.

Ice does better on bosses as more adds there are, faster the shields break and you need to kite.
