I’m really interested in this optic. Would love to see it with a green bullseye reticle. I’m running the Meprolight RDS Pro V2 with a green bullseye reticle. You sold me on it. I now own three. I may have to give this one a shot now. Great video!

@@wcsdiaries I did not buy the optic the video review was about. I did get three Meprolight RDS Pro V2. I love those. I ended up selling one to get a Vortex UH-1 for a rifle I really wanted to try this optic on and love it as well.

What’s the battery life?
It has shake awake. They don't advertise battery life because battery life is based on the quality of the battery and other variables. It's going to be a long time. Thanks for commenting!

I need to figure out if my eyes work better with red or green. How's the parallax?
The human eye picks up green a lot better. If you have an astigmatism you’ll pick green up better too. I’m having eye issues and some trouble with red. The green is working for me on the Meprolight RDS Pro V2. I’m also using the bullseye reticle.
People say that crazy stuff about the Human eye picks up green better... HOG WASH!! Everyone's eyes are different, I actually have both & like both. I have terrible Astigmatism & my eyes do good with some optics & not others, just make sure wherever you buy your optic accepts returns.

Wrongon the angled glass the reason its angled is so the red dot lines up. Has nothing to do with glare

Just took a look at one today at my local FFL. Unfortunately these guys have it marked up way to high.. In the 7 hundos lol
Also I did notice that this isn't just a red dot but an actual holographic sight. There is a mirror on the top, and when on and looking threw the front, you can't see the light from the sorce. The dot is pretty crisp in daylight and in doors you see the pixels.
It's a shame that eotech is gonna be last in the game with a shake awake tech
Personally 30 mins of run time until it shuts off when not being in use is a huge plus. For the price on Amazon of $499

I own an XPS3-2 for my APC9 SBR and I went for that optic because I'm not gonna run any IR device since I don't have much space on the rail and I want to keep it as balance and light as possible, I do love my XPS and for the price I managed to buy it, just 15 more then this new Mepro but I will say, it's a damn shame eotech dosnt have all these other features. They need to get with the times
Have you looked at my RDS PROV2 video? I run the circle dot and it's very nice. It has 27 brightness settings and runs off a single AA battery. It's also priced very conservatively.

So are you saying the dot is crisp or the opposite? Better than an aems per day? I also heard the dot disappears at the horizontal edges of the window is that true?
@jt-el8540 dot is crisp AF in my opinion, and there is a horizontal miss of the dot unfortunately.

How does it compare to meprolight rds pro v2
They are similar so it just depends on what's most important, I prefer the reticle on the RDS, but this is smaller and has the auto dim/brightness.
