Bro, google kickback videos for the table saw. Save your hands. you willl never get them back. when you are pushing into the saw, sometimes the blade of the saw catches onto the wood,. the wood that you are then holding onto rotates. You are , at that moment, pushing into the saw. The wood rotates so fast, because the saw is spinning so fast, that you have no time to react. Your brain can't process millisecinds. Just make a cheap wooden thing to push through the wood. This introduces a cut off point. There is no longer an attachment to the wood that is being cut. Save your fingers and arms till you die naturally.
Shammi can you improvise start with a basic base board of your own chosen size from what wood you have, let's see what you can do just by watching this vid even freeze it and take screen prints if clear enough so you make it your own creation. Go for it buddy 👍😊🦸
That's why production from Asia wont last long and can hurt you or even poisoned :D like chinses dinning plate's with poisonous dyes used or plastics which was used for the little kid's toys which they like to put into a month. Lazy to build properly. Quick build is a miss of think. For Brits (most) this doesn't count they miss a think even when work slow, that's why they work in groups or by parts but often still have a miss of.. but they undemanding or don't understanding :D Why don't use proper wood glue which would last over a seasons with any harsh weather conditions and which wouldn't be harm for the nature? And why don't bother to use a sand paper or a sanding belt? Would be properly, re-fined, look better, more quality, SAFE to touch, wood would last longer, AND would be more fun to watch, more material to work with. Did you did this right here right now or did you made an idea on paper before, cuz the highest tower holes are too low, one is covered and another one is too low, birds won't get in there cuz other predators can get in too (unsafe), that's the reason why those sticks are under the holes for. The idea was nice, but needs to be improved. And get a proper wood glue safe for the nature please ;) it takes tame and care to work with, but that's the proper way to work with wood especially if you making it to be used outdoor. Update: Just checked more projects. Big tip: if you want that the birds would do nest inside, your "houses" you need at least make inside separate sections. As I can see, most projects only can be used as feeders only, but some projects may can have a part of it where they could start make a nest, but inside should be isolated sections, like some houses have few entries into one space, some entries can be used for any predatory birds, some are secure enough that only small bird could get into and bigger ones wouldn't be able to reach or get close to it. These houses are nice ideas, but just as feeders and decoration. If want to go to another level and thing about making houses that birds could breed have to learn a bit about birds.
To all these people who love this bird condo, listen up! I would not build this, because he is raising a bunch of nasty sparrows that kill and reek havoc on good birds such as bluebirds and tree swallows. Just look at all them sparrows, they will become someone else's big problem!
Birds do not like a place to land on the nest. Birds go right inside for protection. The outside pole is for enemies. Don't build a bird house with a landing area.
It’s a good build but a bad design. Instead of the two holes on top of each other one should be around the other side so the birds aren’t crapping on the perch or any birds below. Also the top hole should be around the side so the birds aren’t pooping on the roof below.
Oh boy, another seriously flawed design from someone who has no clue about birding. The only good thing is the workmanship. The access hole is way too big (1 1/2" - 1 5/8" is correct), perches invite predators, no floor drainage, stains and paint are toxic, there is no access door for cleaning or checking. His table saw skills are atrocious, dangerous and a poor model that inexperienced woodworkers may mimic. Over all a horrible ...stay away from this guy!

yes, I agree! Plans would be helpful. They don't have to be fancy- just some rough dimensions so we can build it too!
Looks like the birds will be constantly fighting though. They appear to become very territorial with their new home and food.

If you make more then two doors on a bird house, doesn’t that start a problem? Does that make the birds fight over the bird houses?

Looks like they were using the peg in the video just fine.
