Thank you so much, in india now it's exactly 12:15 AM Just finished the CAN, your knowledge about CAN is next level & the way you explained is just amazing. One single video is sufficient to clear any interview regarding CAN Protocol. I have sent you linked request, please accept. By the way HAPPY DIWALI to you and your family. Currently working as a System Test Engineer at BOSCH, my works revolve around CAN, CANALYZER, CAPL, TKwinx etc. Thank you once again 🙏🙌❣
very good explanation, one thing I would consider future, when you say numbers, please add extra slides with number because many times, hard to see when you are talking. Picture will make lot more sense. Thank you again for wonderful presentation!
sir,i want know when the error frame will be send based on the error states as discussed in the video like during the active or passive and i was littel bit confused here.
Error states and error frames are different. When TEC and REC reach to trigger threshold then controller enters into error states. Error frames are basically dependent on the type of error observed on network by any of the ECU like bit stuff error, bit error, ack error, form error etc
First you need to define coefficinets which are given by the destuffed bit stream consisting of Start of frame, Arbitration field, Control field and Data field , then you need to generate polynomials. The reminder of the division is the CRC sequence . Kindly refer Bosch CAN 2.0 specification for more details.
i have a 2007 Audi Q7 V6 3.6L suv. i want to say with 19-gateway data bus ...I have no communication ? how does what you explain here will assist me in diagnosing this issue to fix it ?

how does the CRC filed works in data frame ?
