Elegant and spacious RAM ProMaster conversion: a stealthy van to live in a city

- Percy knew exactly what he wanted and trusted us to build his RAM ProMaster to his taste. The aesthetic was extremely important to Percy since the van was going to be his new home to live in town. This was a very fun project where we used some elements that already featured in our previous vans (such as the bamboo, the birch, the marine hatches) but also added new things like vinyl tiles moss!
This van does not have a shower because Percy can shower everyday at work but does feature a toilet and a heater.

That toilet build at 3:45 is a genius, low cost solution to nature's head!
Love your designs and build, very thoughtful!
Two of the smartest and most creative van designers and builders around. Always with elegant and functional simplicity.
F 😒 l poo
Very down to earth van build. Well done especially the DIY composite toilet
All around very nice details. Love the lighting and the exercise bar!
Your vans are pieces of art. Love the simplicity. Was hoping for more videos :)
I remember watching your van tour back in 2017. After 3 years of research, I am now converting my van. I really like your brilliant front area walls and adjustable table. I am going to copy this for my current van build.
You guys really know what you like and cut out all unnecessary things. I like what you guys do alot!
Definitely the most chic, unique conversion I've ever seen. Beautiful, well executed. You guys really live up to your business name.
Wonderful design. Beautifully executed.
very nice and lovely interior design, balance and calm. after watching so many of these videos is refreshing to see something so individual I thought we put together
Bravo! I’ve studied many conversions, and yours comes very close to the simplicity I like but miss in most other designs. Very zen.
I absolutely LOVE the Crate idea. Something similar is going in my build. I love the Cedar. I heard it's lightweight and I love the look of unfinished bare wood. It's beautifully crafted! The table on the wall idea is another genius idea and the smaller bed than the usual build. I'm certainly keeping this idea in mind to give my van more functional counter space.
Thanks for the great feedback! And we are very happy to hear we are a source of inspiration
What a beautiful surprise when you closed the door, I felt like I was flying over a forest. Great job overall.
I really like those slat walls with the movable desk/table!
Man that van is nice during the day but it is COZY at night. Great job.
Great build, lots of great ideas as well 👍👍
Another great design. Also very nice that you didn't have loud music to distract us :-)
Love the design, which turns simplicity into art. And how easy it is to (dis)connect all containers, which must be essential for prolonged stealth living.
The fold table was nice and skylights are always my favorite ❤️
Wow what you two are doing is brilliant, very creative. I cant wait to see how you would design/build a shower in a LWB van.
I really like those crates, u could put a hinge on the front, so that he does not need to remove them completly but the front opens down so to speak :)
Thank you for NOT having bloody annoying music in your video!
Your work looks excellent, high quality. Really beautiful and seems very well thought out.
I particularly liked the extra effort you took to hide all the wires and cables. Very professional.
I liked the little hanging table, great feature!
Especially liked the hidden solar panels. So often that spoils the look of these van conversions.
Excellent work!
Excellent build and a lovely woman. Thank you.
Great build and loved the twin bed as so many have full-king size and for me the twin would be perfect! Loved the simplicity and the removeable table!!! Happy Trails and Blessings from PDX (Portland Oregon)
beautiful design. smart and efficient
Muchas gracias!!
These guys always come up with some great ideas, I’d like a roof hatch like that but £229 in the uk, absolutely fabulously thought out van
This is a beautiful van layout. I'm usually not a fan of the exposed wood/natural wood grain look. I like this one.
I really like this , well though out in every way , plus a lot of quirkiness 🙂
Beautiful design and clever build, thumbs up guys!
This is so creative ❤
I've watched A LOT of these videos and you guys came up with some truly unique & remarkable ideas. Congrats on a job well done! I especially love the hidden led strips, the slat wall, and the hanging storage crates.
You guys are so creative and create such beautiful and practical campervans. I was really happy to see a video from you two today! All the best.
Magnifique réalisation les jeunes.
Merci!
There is always something unique in your van builds. congratulations.
that folding table is absolutely brilliant!
Damn beautiful job...congratulations
@11:30 - great design on the moveable table
So smart and clean! 🎈
Extraordinary! Very well done. Thank you.
Really lovely and unique build. I love the recess lighting. You did a wonderful job
Very beautiful
Great video. I don't understand why people say you should have done any of it differently; it might not be how they would want things, but from what I can see you've done what counts by delivering exactly what your client wants and needs. You've shown that you can meet a brief, and have done so in a simple, stylish and innovative way, with great care and attention to detail. Chapeau!
The pull up bars at 7:36 are genius as well!
I like how you made the solar low profile
Beautifully simple and practical. Love it.
You're ideas and craftsmanship are awesome!
What a great build. Enjoyed the video.
Super job guys. That is so sleek!
Looks very nice. Very intriguing. Good reference for me trying to design my camper van.
Très bau travail! Magnifique!
Merci!
I thought the moss wall was a picture of a forest from the top when I first saw it.
Lol I thought it was a bunch of marijuana buds. 😜
Me too. I loved the moss.
This is the best van conversion I have seen!
Good taste , practical , BEST wishes , thank you .
So satisfying the tile backsplash fits perfectly, likely from careful planning
Nice video, nice elegant pro master conversion, stealthy van life. I love it. I enjoy watching.
That movable wall table was genius! Nicely thought out generally, but I must admit I still think lagoon tables are the bees knees lol.
Very nice and well thought out!
💜 the shelf idea!
more builds please!
Really nice build.
Love the wood work and that little table is awesome.
I believe I’ve been in that Van or one very similar in BC down by the Ocean. I really liked it then and really liked it in video you’ve done a great job and your in the top 5 of all the conversions I’ve come across bravo.
Bravo open and clean = simplistic = perfect. Stealthy with walls of images of nature, when all closed up bring the outdoors in.
Brilliant design!
It's so so happy to see you guys again. I saw the video about your previous campervan and remember it all the time. Now this van is a great update. Great job. And I also made a campervan in AKL city NZ. Got some good ideas from your video. Thanks and I will always be here your channel.😁
Thank you!
This is perfect. I love it.
Love your van!
Like what you guys do. Keep it up:)
Great build.
the woodwork is amazing!
Very beautiful!
Tres belle réalisation intérieur ainsi qu`un éclairage acceuillant et chaleureux. Simple, fonctionnel ....
i LOVE the composting toilet! it is exactly what i would like to have in my build :)
I lived in a van some 20 years ago. It was for almost 18 months. I had a mattress on a simple frame, bedding, hygiene products in hanging storage bag, clothes in a duffle bag, with a few hooks for my coat and heavier items, a cooler and I used the local 24/7 gym to shower and use their restroom. I had 2 bins, 1 had medications, personal items and a few this or thats. The second had work related items. I did have a camping shower and a bucket (seat, with shavings in a plastic bag) for emergency situations. I ate my hot meals at work. Van conversion is great, if it's done simply. A headlamp and flashlight for lighting. Kept it simple. Many I see are overdone just to be overdone.
Superb!!!!
You are brilliant!
i really like the vinyl on the walls - looks like a home to me with that
Fantastic Work!
Thanks for the visit!
OMG YOU GUYS FINALLY HAVE ANOTHER VIDEO
The "headboard" kind of makes me think of the railings on a hospital bed.
That table with the aluminum rings is genius
Amazing!
Brilliant! :)
awesome build, could live there easily. :0
That little slat table is genius
thanks for the share, very nice
Your design is elegant, functional and beautiful. Congratulations. Come build my van in Florida. I would be interested in a murphy bed and water purification system.

Very nice.
A lot of the van builds I see are over-designed. For my purposes - having money to build a small house - the expense of those van builds defeats the purpose. I would do something along the lines of yours. Good build.
brilliant look and aesthetics. very clever and functional. a fold up tub on the floor and simple shower curtain would give a shower space if or when needed. a recirculating shower would be possible.
Brilliant design! And that moss wall is such a great space-saving option for greenery.
I think a cool part of being in a van is that moss and nature is right outside your door. I would not want moss and spores etc inside my van.
@@k.pacificnw02134 personally I agree with you-although urban van dwelling can be a bit of a concrete overload so I understand when people insist on live plant passengers. Also moss walls like this one are typically dried and treated, so no mess or spores to worry over.
@@emersauce Agreed. I would like 1 or 2 potted live plants inside my van. Not faux ones. Mainly the issue to me is it takes up precious square inches. Every inch of a van (that you're going to live in) has to be useful, not decorative. I mean the built in parts. You can bring in decor, but anything installed should have a purpose.
beautiful :)
Buen vídeo 👌 gracias.
Could you please include a link to the electronic faucet, the fresh and the grey water system? Really nice build
it's Percy's van!!!!
Great to see and hear from you guys again. Nice rig, Percy. Richard and Sophie, you remain my favorite conversions. Your touches and design approach is simple, in the very best way, so clean, so functional, and makes my eyeballs happy. Love you guys and wish you the very best.
Love the simplicity and functionality, we are a couple in Ontario, both approaching retirement and want to travel . Thinking to convert a cargo van. Need your help.
excellent, not the usual design cliches and followed customer brief inventively.
Just one point, composting loo, I would added small air intake and have installed a small 12v computer type fan to force air through external vent.
Thanks! You're right, we have in fact installed a small air intake, it is just not shown in the video.
