- Yesterday evening I got the opportunity to film the world's FIRST BMW M5 F90 with Akrapovic exhaust system. You will hear the start up sound, loud revs (valves open & close) and some accelerations! The Akrapovic exhaust sounds much better than the stock exhaust. It sounds deep, loud and very BRUTAL!
The BMW M5 F90 has a 4.4 V8 Biturbo engine that produce 600HP and goes from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds!

I partly agree. This one is great without being completely unusable in a normal situation as a family sedan should be. Imho it’s perfect.
I prefer this over the E63S sound. This sounds more aggressive, the E63 is waay to deep for me.

Kinda reminds me of the E39, only this time with pops and crackles. Simply amazing.
My buddy in Texas put Akrapovic exhaust on his V10 M6. It even has a K&N filter. It pops so much. It's also supercharged for racing. He bought it from a BMW dealer in Houston. I tried a 0-100. Every shift had a pop or a loud roar. He has a lot of ///M logos on his car.

Link (mid) pipe only. On the 2019 F90 (with opf) are 4 cats; 2 on the down pipe en 2 on the midpipe. This is evolution mid and slip on exhaust.

the F90 definitely sounds a lot better than the F10 imho. It sounds a lot more aggressive while the F10 just sounds a bit awkward. It's not so much the car being "Turbocharged" that makes the F10 and F90 sound they way they do as much as the design of the turbo manifold itself.

It sounds nice, but tbh i ll always prefer the E60 V10 5.0 L M5 for sound.. the rest will always be amateurs, to me personally. Of course everything else about this is better but that v10.. I wish they'd expanded on it and put it in the new m5.
