Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures - big or small - and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It's kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I've always been extremely passionate about what I'm doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. Madrid Autumn was spectacular. comfortable. late Sep throughout Oct. great window to visit, with Spring. great summary. can start a travel-agency with this.
Haha thanks DC. I think travel agency’s are becoming obsolete when you have thousands of YT channels with the same advice. I could, however, start a business with this. We will see.

Hi Elliot, I agree with you about the best season, I really prefer fall (although spring is quite nice also).
I have a lot of friends from Finland and they try to scape few days every year at October or November because there is grey and cold and Madrid still being sunny and "warm".

Quiero que llueva un poco este año en Madrid
Didn't used to be so hot. When I first went there in 95 it was 93 degrees on July 22 and with a clogged a/c in the pension I thought THAT was blistering hot because in the midwest we rarely got that. But I accepted it as all part of the experience and loved it. Now we get it every week of the summer for a day or two. We used to call them "heatwaves".

La mejor época para visitar Madrid?, sin duda Otoño, la primavera es temporada muy inestable, un día hace un calor horrible, y a los pocos días hace mucho frío o llueve bastante, El verano para el Norte y zonas rurales de montaña de España, pero sobre todo Asturias , el invierno para la zona mediterránea, Cádiz y Huelva, Otoño para el centro, las dos Castillas, primavera para ver paisajes, cascadas, y visitar rincones maravillosos que hay muchos repartidos por toda España, por ejemplo: Los Arribes del Duero, las cascadas, hay muchas como las de Ézaro en Galicia, el Pozo de los Humos en Salamanca, el Valle del Jerte con paisajes impresionantes, muchas cascadas y si puedes en marzo/Abril ver los cerezos en flor, Doñana en todo su esplendor, sierra de Cazorla entre otros sitios, las costas andaluzas no tienen épocas porque todo el año se puede disfrutarlas

Hey bro yeah, that snowstorm was lit haha. And I get some free stock footage on Pexels.com.. just type in spain and there’s some options. Very useful for videos as using a drone is expensive and also has regulations here.

I am tossing up going in December or June as I'm from Queensland, Australia, and I need a break from the year-long humidity, lol. So the cooler weather looks ideal for me.

We were there in Sept and the weather was perfect. No rain and temps around 75. Carmel says Elliot knows we were there...I know Carmel but he's not the only person reading this...HONEY. LOL

Me gusta mucho ver la divulgación en inglés que haces de España y la cuidada edición del video, te mueves en un entorno urbano y parece que todos vivimos en pisos pero no es así porque mucha población sigue viviendo en casas individuales, no tengo datos oficiales de todo el país pero quiero pensar que los censados en casas superan a los de los pisos.
Pues, España tiene una de las tasas más altas de Europa de vivir en pisos pero en más comunitario y ahorra energía y crea comunidades .. per a la vez hay bastantes casas por todo el país sobretodo zonas rurales un saludo
¿Vives en otro planeta? España en su mayoría vivimos en pisos. Como recoge el último Focus on Spanish Society, publicación editada por Funcas. casi dos tercios de la población total (65%) residente en España vive en pisos
Los urbanitas de la ciudades puede que vivan en su mayoria en pisos pero el pais es muy diverso, desde las aldeas gallegas a las urbanizaciones de lujo , hay muchas soluciones habitacionales alternativas a esas conejeras llamadas "pisos".

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the informative video! Planning a trip to Spain either at the end of October or beginning of November, but I just read that the end of October coincides with half-term in UK driving up tourism during that time. What are your recommendations around that timeframe as far as weather and crowds?
It's will be great weather in most of the country. The leaves will begin changing color mid to late October in Madrid at least. Temps in the day will get to about 20-25 in most of the country (unless you're in the NW) so you can get away with shorts and a T shirt. Sun screen probably isn't even necessary unless you're exposed ALL day. And, crowds aren't really an issue, but with Spain being back to normal in terms of international arrivals, there's gonna be tourists all year round. Not as packed as July/August.. So you're gonna wanna make all your reservations ahead of time just to avoid any hassle. Where you planning on going?
@@AdventureElliot Considering going to Barcelona, Seville, and Madrid. I don't have much info on what to expect in Spain though - what sort of reservations do you recommend making ahead of time? Do you mean for restaurants, at museums/historical sites, or modes of transportation? Appreciate the feedback btw!
@@cmeyescream3 I mean reserve your hotels and train rides between cities. The high speed train can be expensive if you buy it the day of. Restaurants can be reserved the day of or just walk around and find one you like. Same with museums. The only museum that requires a reservation is the Alhambra in Granada. Un saludo

Hola, bueno a mí,me gusta más la primavera en Madrid y si no quiere uno pasar Calor recomiendo un lugar muy bonito del norte de España y es Donostia ,con el mar Cantábrico, también sin vienen a Madrid en verano no olvidar sus tapas y terrazas que estarán ha rebosar por la Noche así como la oferta cultural visita obligada el Museo del Prado con Goya, Velázquez etcétera y gracias por ser un embajador de España,

Mira, yo hice unos vídeos en los EEUU pero habían pocos visitas y esforcé mucho en estos vídeos.. a veces no vale la pena trabajar así cuando la mayoría de la gente no importa ver vídeos de los EEUU. Sin obstante, la próxima vez que vuelvo a los EEUU haré más vídeos. Un saludo

Elliot es más insoportable el calor en Barcelona que en Madrid. Y en general en la costa de Barcelona a Valencia.
No en el interior de esas provincias que están a más Altitud sobre el nivel del mar. Allí dormirás con la colcha abrigado.
De Barcelona a 60km interior, por la noche ya hace fresco. Y así en general.
Y lo mismo Madrid a 70km dirección Segovia o Ávila por la noche en verano hace fresco te has de
Tapar. Es fácil huir del calor de Madrid o Barcelona o Valencia.😂🤗
Lo que pasa es que madrid por ejemplo no tiene brisa en verano y también tiene un efecto de calentamiento Urbana .. Barcelona es húmedo y Valencia también.. lo mejor en verano para mi es el norte.. duermes como un bebé en una casa rural en el norte con una manta
@@AdventureElliot No es necesario ir al Norte, vete a Segovia, el Escorial o Boadilla o a los pueblos de Madrid y también te pondrás una manta .

Hi there. We r going to Spain the first week in November. When I booked the cruise I hadn’t checked the weather n now I read that it’s the rainiest in November 😳 we will be in Cartegena, Malaga n Seville. Yr video looked beautiful in November. So do we have a chance on good weather ? 🤔
In the south and Mediterranean your chances of rain In November are very low. It might be cloudy a few days but you’ll be fine. But it will still get down to about 10 Celsius at night.

Yes, it’s low season and the hotels will be cheap .. 10-12 Celsius in the morning and 16-18 during the day with su.

Yes, you can come to southern Spain or the Canary Islands. You can get a flight from madrid to the Canary Islands for 30 euros. Where are you from?
I am from Northern California and live here and would like to visit and experience as much of the country of Spain as possible. I really liked knowing the festivals as well. As an Italian, I am familiar with Carnivale in Florence and Venice and didn’t know it was in Spain too. My anniversary is on the 19th so I will be very interested to see what events will be there in that timeframe!

Mucha gente desconoce España, en el 75% de España desde Noviembre a Abril hace más frío que en casi toda Europa, España es un país muy alto, muy elevado sobre el nivel del mar, y en invierno llegamos a - 15 °C incluso menos, y hace mucho frío.
Y Madrid no es España, gran parte de España es más fría que Madrid, Madrid está al sur de las montañas del sistema central. La temperatura media anual de mi pueblo es de 11 °C, y la capital de mi provincia es de 9,7 °C, más baja que cualquier capital europea, incluido Londres.

@@nalagrz5773 I do not work in the tourism industry. I just recommend to avoid the heat. They can also come in May or September and still enjoy the warm temperatures.
It depends. The north of Spain and canary islands don't have such extreme changes. I live in Burgos and NOW we are getting s bit of a soft summer.
When I was a kid there was NO FUCKING SUMMER, but a lovely prolonged spring from may to August
