They do lead traumatic lives, but it's inspiring *because* they see the good in it and treat it as problems they just have to live with. Something most people seem to just... not do, even in real life.
It's a post-apocalyptic world, but New Eridu makes it so that life can still be normal. Hollows are just another thing that's lived with. It's certainly an enjoyable experience for sure

Definitely Isekai-like with both Genshin & Star Rail, as the main character is thrust into a new and unknown world to them, the traveler being sent into a fantasy world whereas the Trailblazer wakes up with no memory of who they are. Meanwhile, Zenless is unknown to the player, but fairly known to the various cast and characters. We're just seeing what their lives are like within a post-apocalypse that still feels like everyday life.
I love how one video can tell us so much about Zhu Yuan's life. How i can imagine her being the role student, her childhood, her motivation, or her family.
I love how wholesome they made Zhu Yuan. She's just a good person trying to do her best to protect and serve her city. When she's off the clock, she's just a normal person with loving parents and tries to make time to visit them. She tries her best and that's enough! I love her character!

But when you see the effect of expressing your feelings for someone you care for and the impact it can have for the recipient there is no way it can compare. Showing that you care not just with words but action, in a balance that doesn't choose one or the other leads to the healthiest relationships I think.

One of the very few times where you have a character that is hard working and diligent... but respects the 9-5 and leaves on time, all the while having loving parents who are still alive and very close to one another.
Honestly, this is one of the my favourite short films that I’ve seen from Hoyoverse. It may be simple, without any mind blowing battle choreography or fabulous landscapes. Instead, it’s so… introverted. Something that made me reminiscing about Makoto Shinkai art style, remember some slice of life series, and just to take pleasure in the scenery of our world Now I’m going to call my parents, it’s been a while
God this is so heartwarming. And Zhu Yuan is seriously beautiful on the inside and out. Hoyoverse really knocked it out of the park for this character.
I love how they don't make Zhu Yuan the type of character that is already disconnected from her family by having sh*t tragic backstory or anything else. She is not the "living alone independent girl-boss" type of garbage that is disgusted by affection and emotions. She actually has a supportive family and is loved. She keeps coming back to them, and she is pampered even tho she is already an accomplished individual with so many awards. She'll always be her parent's baby. And that's wholesome. Don't take a supportive and loving family for granted.
I came for the jokes and action, you can't have me all nostalgic and teary-eyed over a trailer now! I'm glad they are willing to risk advertising the more subdued and intimate aspects of characters, hope all the future units have as much care put into them.

Thought it was gonna be just another Zhu Yuan thirst trap after the first little bit (wouldn't be complaining), but then immediately shifted to me crying GOD DAMNIT stop making me love her I don't have the resources to build another character AND teammates for her.
At this point they might as well make a spin off game based on her she literally a main character at this point have her take a major crime syndicate in the underworld city.

If we say that our life is like a cup of coffee, it is bitter, straight forward, and even addicting. As you slowly forget what it feels like to enjoy the moment. Just as the previous pvs of zhuyuan. But as the title of the song indicates, we all need a little cube of sugar sometimes. This sweetness can be taking a day off for yourself, or letting your inner child out. In this case, ZhuYuan added this sugar cube to her life by meeting her parents. And as long as it floats, what we see is who Zhu Yuan actually is - a little girl that has a hard time cooking, scared of cats, and someone that is vulnerable, someone that needs to be "taken cared of", not just the perfect cop that protects her city from harm
I'm late to watch this but this made me tear up a bit. I pulled Zhu Yuan just because of how fun she was to play in chapter 2.5, and I've gotten very intrigued by her character after all the trust events. Watching this makes her my favorite character.
Zhu Yuan is a very relatable character in real life... Working so hard for what she are dedicated in and believe is right, but still cares about her family.

Honestly, this is one of the my favourite short films that I’ve seen from Hoyoverse. It may be simple, without any mind blowing battle choreography or fabulous landscapes. Instead, it’s so… introverted. Something that made me reminiscing about Makoto Shinkai art style, remember some slice of life series, and just to take pleasure in the scenery of our world

I love how they don't make Zhu Yuan the type of character that is already disconnected from her family by having sh*t tragic backstory or anything else. She is not the "living alone independent girl-boss" type of garbage that is disgusted by affection and emotions.
She actually has a supportive family and is loved. She keeps coming back to them, and she is pampered even tho she is already an accomplished individual with so many awards. She'll always be her parent's baby. And that's wholesome.
Don't take a supportive and loving family for granted.
I came for the jokes and action, you can't have me all nostalgic and teary-eyed over a trailer now! I'm glad they are willing to risk advertising the more subdued and intimate aspects of characters, hope all the future units have as much care put into them.
Even though she's busy as heck with work she still chose to spend the weekend with her parents T_T As a working adult who supports my parents, this made me like Zhu Yuan even more as a character.
I couldn't play Genshin or Honkai for more than a few hours without being bored. But I gave ZZZ a try, and I am absolutely in love. This song is amazing. Zhu Yuan works so hard for the public. We love her

Thought it was gonna be just another Zhu Yuan thirst trap after the first little bit (wouldn't be complaining), but then immediately shifted to me crying GOD DAMNIT stop making me love her I don't have the resources to build another character AND teammates for her.
At this point they might as well make a spin off game based on her she literally a main character at this point have her take a major crime syndicate in the underworld city.
I know it might sound crazy but I suggest making another account. It can help with the clutter of multiple dps and give you more time with the game to learn it
Her best f2p team include nicole and anby so its pretty easy for her to have a team, its just the matter of getting her and her W-engine honestly.

If we say that our life is like a cup of coffee, it is bitter, straight forward, and even addicting. As you slowly forget what it feels like to enjoy the moment. Just as the previous pvs of zhuyuan. But as the title of the song indicates, we all need a little cube of sugar sometimes. This sweetness can be taking a day off for yourself, or letting your inner child out. In this case, ZhuYuan added this sugar cube to her life by meeting her parents. And as long as it floats, what we see is who Zhu Yuan actually is - a little girl that has a hard time cooking, scared of cats, and someone that is vulnerable, someone that needs to be "taken cared of", not just the perfect cop that protects her city from harm

I'm late to watch this but this made me tear up a bit. I pulled Zhu Yuan just because of how fun she was to play in chapter 2.5, and I've gotten very intrigued by her character after all the trust events. Watching this makes her my favorite character.
