Fun fact (?): The word "Bite" in English, if pronounced in Japanese is バイト (Baito) which means part-time job. So the title also means "Shark's gotta (part-time) work". Whether this is intentional or not, idk you folks can fight it out.

if you like zzz this much, you’ll probably love hi3’s playstyle. they’re virtually the same (zzz has a few newer features ofc but the dodging and frequent character switching is there). plus p1 of hi3 is set on modern earth, and arc city is gorgeous

also i feel like i should warn you that i haven’t played p2 much because of college preparations and whatnot, but part 2 has EXTREMELY mixed reviews so idk what to say other than warn u ab that. part 1.5 no longer focuses on kiana mei and bronya, but it focuses on fu hua and seele more. you’ll know part 2 has started bc the entire main cast changes lol

Ellen having this laid back energy mixed with a twinge of Polyphia and lofi is so nice to see and just as equally to listen to
the gap moe is strong with this one
for those who don't know, gap moe is when a person does something that seems out of character for them, in a way that makes them even cuter. so ellen's initial portrayal as this distant and cold undercover spy is very well contrasted with her appreciation for typical schoolgirl interests

Вообще после 2018 и выхода most hated появился этот их стиль с сочетанием элементов поп-музыки, хайхэты и клэпы в ударных, электроника. И этот трек по вайбу напомнил ABC с крайнего альбома, который вышел в прошлом году

I felt weirdly happy when I just saw Ellen's friends in the train station completely lost
I found them too!! It was so cute seeing them ❤ I love how the NPCs all still feel so unique to one another and that we get small town vibes! I saw one of them interacting with the fashionable girl rescued from the Chapter 2 interlude too and it just brings a lot of life to everything even though the map is small. It feels lived in!

I found Ellen just chilling around 6th street a few times. One of them featured her having a phone call with her boss regarding a pta at her school.

im in high school myself and honestly from what i seen some of the moments here are SO relatable 😭

they do so much with their chars. ellen having shark slippers at home is such a cute little detail to add in.
I get the vibe she is a great white shark.
Great white sharks are loners, the video shows how Ellen tries to be alone as well, but she wishes to be as common sharks, who are most of the time sociable fishes. That's why all her shark items she has are not dark gray-black colors, instead they are blue or light gray.
So while her nature tries to put her away from society, she loves to be dragged by others so she can enjoy sharing good times with people.
If they are doing this much for Ellen already we will be in for a treat when the actual idols release in the future.

Whole game seems to be getting treated well by Mihoyo. Story on its own is pretty interesting. Comedy is just disguising how dark and depressing this thing gets. First person to die in the game looked like he was in the pain of a nightmare.
This is probably my favorite song that hoyo has put out so far, even topping Robin's songs, the vocals in combination witht he crazy Tim henson tune guitar just goes sooooo hard!!! (im sorry robin)

out of all the characters introduced, i love the development of ellen joe's the most, and how it's been tied into the music style of the game. i notice that a majority of the music is rap-heavy and "urban", but there's also this more citypop + electronic theme that I've just started associating with her character
