one thing I really like is that Haolan is both learning how to survive from Lu Buwei and from the queen
She’s in Empress training…
her growth as a woman is fantastic. That little girl who cried over that rotten sister and Prince's marriage turned into a woman who could not only thrive on her own, but prosper with a clean heart and hands.
Everytime the empress is on-screen, I can't stop looking at those braids in her hair. They look so simple but frame her face nicely.
I always look at them too. The costume team really knows how to compliment the actresses’ beauty.
She looks like a vampire to me.
The conversation between haolan and the queen is so deep ... this is just one of the many reasons i love this drama ❤

❤️ the Doctor's role here... so much better for this actress compared to her role in Yanxi lol. And the General Gao (actor 裴子添 Pei zitian) was severely stoic in another drama so it's funny to see him here trying to flirt with the Doctor (23:00)

I wouldn't listen tonthe son that is always wrong(lies) either...the emperor is dumb for even paying heed to anything he says( forgot his name already.). He makes a great antagonist. Very good actor.

本剧有60多集，我和很多人一样一开始觉得怎么逃跑三番两次都失败。不过你想这剧是皓镧传，赵国人，赵国很多演员不可能上来十几集就因为秦异人逃跑成功而剧情下线。尤其宁静这种。。。所以赵国部分的剧情会持续一段时间，所以基本会逃跑各种不成功。不过唯一一点好处是，这剧的各种boss不那么蠢那么弱，你看这个公主和之后韩国来的少妃真的是当成一个完整的人物来写，坏而不蠢各种智商在线，比起很多戏主角智商120boss只有60的剧情现实多了，一部剧的boss水平决定一部剧的精彩程度。你看看甄嬛传，神作牛逼在boss写的非常出色，个侧面的描写，写出了坏写出了无奈，关键的boss皇后的智商基本和甄嬛很接近，这样斗起来才此消彼长有的看头。
