  • Infatuation can often feel like the highest form of love, but there’s more beneath the surface than meets the eye. That elation and intensity might actually be anxiety that hasn't yet reached your conscious mind. Here’s how it can manifest:
When you feel an overwhelming high about someone new, it could be a subconscious recognition that they are not emotionally available. Your mind senses the potential for future hurt, even if you don’t see it consciously.
This person might be saying all the right things and displaying their best behavior, but something feels “too good to be true.” That feeling of “this is too perfect” can be a sign that your intuition is warning you.
Friends and loved ones may pick up on what you cannot-they might notice that your excitement borders on unrealistic or even obsessive, and recognize that infatuation is not the same as true love.
Unlike infatuation, true love develops slowly, grounded in mutual trust, respect, and authenticity. It’s not a rollercoaster of emotions, but rather a steady and genuine connection that grows over time.
Learn how to differentiate between anxiety-driven infatuation and true love to build healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

It is anxiety.. using infatuation as an excuse to obsess over this new person in order to avoid feeling anxiety you obsess over the euphoric love feelings to avoid feeling lonely and fear. You can try to trick yourself into believing you truly are into someone in order to avoid doing your inner work.

Sorry, feeling high and euphoric is not the same as anxiety. Anxiety is coming from place of fear. It’s low vibrational. Where as feeling elated, over joyed, excited is on a different frequency level. You are confusing your audience and misinterpreting the two states of being.

True love is probably something I'll never experience. But I guess it's not necessarily a problem.
