  • Here, I explain why living and making decisions on a more emotional level, can be a detriment to men.
However, I'm not referring to this being a detriment in regard to how others may want us to be more so on this emotional spectrum, I'm referring to how being victim to emotions and letting them influence our decision making, can be a detriment to our purpose. Also, I think there's a downside to even constantly expressing them as this can become habit. As I always advocate for having a purpose in life and goals to work towards that purpose, this video is tailored those who do!
If you do not find the concept of having purpose to be beneficial, or if you disagree with it, then respectfully, this video may not be for you!
Also, as I'm sure someone will make this remark, the video is not saying that one should not "have" emotions or bottle them up. If you've watched in its entirety, you'll understand that I'm not saying that. We're human beings - we naturally have emotions. My point is to not be driven by them and not let them hinder your path!

You’re definitely spot on about distancing oneself from subjective emotions as much as possible. People should learn from an early age to get used to discomfort, boredom and persisting. It’s the only way to reach any worthy goal. I truly envy people born with a lack of neuroticism as they are simply much effective at life because of it.
By the way, what are your thoughts on the book the “50th law”? There are a lot of valid criticisms of the book, but I personally felt it can help people become so much more effective at life in general.

Absolutely! Definitely would benefit one at a young age to be comfortable with discomfort. David Goggins talks about the importance of that all the time and though some can view him as extreme, I see his points of treating it all like training to handle the next difficulty in life.
I haven't read the 50th Law yet. Actually this is the first time I've heard of it. But thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely add it to my list! And try to get my thoughts back to you here on it!
