I actually feel that way about positive affirmation ASMR I feel a lot of the times like no one cares about me never says anything good about me. I think deep down my family cares about me even if I don't see it all the time or even if they don't always show it. I think just hearing positive things from someone other then my family it just hits the mark more then when my family says nice things to me. So when I watch positive affirmation or hypnosis ASMR I always wake up the next day and have a super good day because I am more confident in myself!

I suffer from severe insomnia. I have trouble sleeping every night. For the last 15 yrs I sleep an average of 3-4 hours and its always impossible to calm my mind and actually drift off. I heard about asmr but when i checked out a few channels i didnt see how this could help. Then i found your channel. Thank you. You have no idea the real measurable difference these videos have made.

difference between a pro and noob asmrist (soft speaker ) is that
1. pro doesn't laugh on camera
2. every word is spoken with a huge effort
3. elongated words /sounds or stretching words
4. stability in the tone (a rhythm followed through the video)
5 I never knew background sound will have wonderful effects. awesome effects

I've had insomnia a few times in life and it can really mess with your mind. Instead of looking forward to going to bed you start to dread it, knowing you're going to be up tossing and turning all night. I try to remind myself that I will eventually start sleeping normally again, so go with the flow and don't stress about it. In fact, don't even think about it.
I just stay up until I know I'm going to fall asleep. Watching Lucy do a soft spoken video normally makes me nod off for a few minutes and then I get in bed and fall straight asleep

I absolutely LOVE listening to your voice. Even if I have you playing in the background as I’m working, and I’m not even paying attention to what you’re saying, you’re still so incredibly relaxing.
When you have depression, insomnia & 24 hour constant pain, then sleep is something that doesn't happen for weeks at a time. I sometimes wish that I could fall asleep & NEVER wake up, & so to help this along, I've recently started stockpiling as many pills as I can get my hands on
