If Parker can get out of the first 4 or 5 rounds, stay unpredictable with his movement, make Wilder miss some big shots, and be physical with Wilder in the clinch, he can force Wilder to expend more energy. Parker is going to have to take some risks if he wants to win this matchup. If Wilder get's fatigued, that right hand will lose some of it's pop. That doesn't mean it won't be a constant danger, but Wilder was brought to the point of exhaustion against Fury because Fury made Wilder hold his weight, and Wilder's hands slowed down a lot by the mid-rounds of those fights. The slower the hand speed, the easier it will be for Parker to see the shots coming. I don't know if Parker can do that successfully for 12 rounds, but he needs to unless he can knock Wilder out before he gets knocked out by Wilder. This crap about Wilder being an all-time great is a little bit stupid though. We have seen fighters like Wilder before, and those other guys were much better than Wilder, much more accomplished, and much more terifying to face. It's nothing we haven't seen before. Marciano, Sonny Liston, George Foreman, and Mike Tyson were all much better boxers than Wilder could ever dream of being, and they all had vastly more ways to deliver their devestating power than just relying on their right hand hitting the target.
I hope Parker weights at 240 where he's fairly mobile and weighs a similar size to Wilder. Parker has higher output and better movement. If Parker rushes him, punches Wilder's arms, mixes it up between the face and body, aims at the ears, and uppercuts then he could hurt Wilder. Parker isn't Fury or even Joshua, he should hold and lean on Wilder. Instead, he should move in on him like he's going to clinch then land combos or sharp 1-2s. Parker needs to light up Wilder but not get too greedy and try to break him down piece by piece instead of all at once. His defense needs to be down. Block game up. Head movement present and have a plan for rolling punches. If Wilder jabs or swings carelessly, punch his arms. Parker might need to employ a few feints at range but not overdo it since that isn't a normal part of his gameplan. Forget the 12 round gameplan, that doesn't work with Wilder. Parker needs to go for a strategic TKO in the mid to late rounds (4-11).

I used to burst out laughing when anyone said Wilder was the hardest heavyweight puncher of all time 😂 dude fought nobody and then got flattened by the first genuine world level fighter he faced
With this fight it’ll be a great fight, both fighters could knock each other out, wilder is older 38yrs almost 40 and hasn’t fought in a year, Joseph Parker 31yrs and has fought five times in the past few years More active and has been working hard to get better and it has shown, but still wilder has that X factor right hand not only for 1rnd but all 12rnds very dangerous, Joe can easily outbox wilder but the question is can Joe do it for 12rnds and stay away from the right hand of wilder??? That’s the big question !! If successful on staying away from the right hand Joe wins.
Imo the Fury has shown the entire world the gameplan to beat Wilder. Get your punches off first, before Wilder gets his feet set to punch. And to make it a dirty fight In the sense of roughing Wilder up, laying on him to zap him if his energy. Wilder had been so used to being able to walk his opponents down and fight at his pace. When he is forced to fight at a faster pace, his cardio goes to hell very quickly. I think Parker can mimic Furys approach and has a great shot at upsetting Wilder.
Deontay definitely has KO power and good timing. The way he walked Helenius into that punch what perfect timing, but to say he's one of the hardest hitting heavyweights in history is ludacris. I say that because compare him to 80s, 90s heavyweight boxing scene and ask yourself how would he do. The answer is he would probably be as good as Michael Grant was back then
Noone can measure this theory of "the 80s 90s fighters" of yours today. Matter of fact, it's not even your theory. This is a sentiment that has been adopted and repeated for awhile by old heads reminiscing about the days, the things, people and place of the past being better. "Be careful what you believe, because what you beleive..believes in you. " Humans are governed and ruled by belief, a belief system. We are ruled by what we believe, everything you choose to do is based on a believe in what it will result in. So do what you wish with this tip...or dont. Its your life. 😊
@ThePsychologistYT I agree there's no way to prove what I am saying, but I was there for the 80s 90s and today, so why can't I make a good judgment on the Fighter's ability Think about it this way I can compare the cars from that time to the cars of today. Why can't I compare the fighters of yesterday to the fighters of today?... And as far as a belief system that has nothing to do with this at all. A belief system is something the atheist, the agnostic, and religious person all use to get through life. I have my belief system, and so do you. There was no tip, and there was no advice, and there were no wise words spoken, but thanks for sharing your opinion ,LOL. Just like I did, or should i say thanks for sharing your belief system 😆😆😆
@treeoflife8060 I mean that's the false narrative they push I definitely disagree with that because he has to hit combos to knock people out or he has to time it where you're walking forward and catch you. Lennox Lewis could hit you one time and knock anyone out and there's a whole list of other Fighters that are way more powerful George Foreman is another one. You never hear about Deontay Wilder breaking heavyweight bags in the gym because he doesn't have the power... edit when Deontay Wilder punch the punching machine he scored high but he scored under a welterweights punch LOL I don't know why they push this false narrative I guess because there's so many boxers of today suck I mean he has a high KO ratio but he's fought mostly tomato cans.
@@ThePsychologistYT Just watch the videos. The Elite heavyweight fighters of today would be ranked 30 and down in the 80 and 90s but Ped's was rampant back then too.

Wilder has not fought anyone really except of course Tyson Fury. Ortiz was an old man and all his other fights have been against average boxers at best. Wilder does have good power, but not nearly as his record suggests. Even i could hand pick tomato cans and knock them out. Parker will be the second best fighter he has faced and it may prove career ending for Wilder if he doesn't knock him out. I notice every time an opponent even throws a little jab at Wilder, he runs half way across the ring to keep from getting hit. Parker will follow him as he backs up and could land his own knockout punch. I just never thought Wilder deserved the accolades he gets. His last win was against his own sparring partner for Christ sake! I think this fight more than any previous fight will show what he is made of.
I see Wilder really relaxed so i just say that will be his down fall if he lose. But i see Wilder by KO 5-6 round. Unless Joseph find a body shot cause he slimed up. Outside that Wilder all day. Wilder has impressed me with his mental maturity since the aftermath of the Fury losses.
Parker kicked his ass
Deontay’s right hand is Lufthansa ✈️ but I am still going with Parker to win by decision cause Wilder may be having some ring rust 🥊🥊

😂😂 Wilder fans gone offline
All the Wilder black fan boys drinking and crying tonight, so fun when he loses 😂😂😂
I backed parker just because Froch said wilder always back against froch
Parker os a well rounded fighter. Good speed and boxing skills with a pretty decent engine. Also he has age on his side. I feel it's a 50/50 fight.
This is hilarious after the results
Humans are governed and ruled by belief, a belief system.
I don’t think he can compete with them, but I definitely think he hits the hardest
If Parker can train really hard for this fight, I see an upset. He is obviously the better fighter. Never right off a former champ!
Better fighter based on what ?
@@Thanosdidtherighthingboxing skill... Mr Windmill only has the right hand
@@Thanosdidtherighthing I think Wilder will most likely catch Parker at some point and win. But it is pretty obviously who the more talented 'Boxer' is. But that doesn't alwsys translate into results at heavyweight.

yep Joe hope you rite🙏 can't wait to see Parker dropping Wilder with a vicious right over-hand blow the same way Tyson Fury did it
Joseph Parker is a highly skilled heavyweight, legit. Deontay Wilder is not as skilled, but Deontay doesn't need anything other than his one hitter quitter right hand, Parker going to get starched in under 4 rounds. But, yeah Parker is a more dangerous opponent than who ever AJ fighting, Otto something or other...
Whoa, you really think Parker is going to get starched in under 4 rounds? That's a bold prediction! Let's see if Wilder's one hitter quitter right hand lives up to the hype.
Otto is a good fighter
So ur saying Parker is worse than some of the fighters who went 8+ rounds against Wilder. I think Parker could beat all of Wilders opponents except maybe Fury
Did you say a Southpaw us less dangerous? Hahaha you are very funny. He fucked Tyson's face up. stop playing
@@papadwarf6762 I'm saying Parker is a great fighter, but styles make fights and Deontay knocks him out, Joseph Parker does not go the distance and loses by stoppage.

Indeed. From what I have seen, he has been working on cleaning up his boxing and building strong fundamentals.

Watch Parkers Fights hes actually pretty legit
Someone got a boxing lesson.
The only reason people think Parker has a shot is because Wilder has been inactive. Thats it
Joseph Parker has more speed and skill and he’s durable. He’s on the up with Andy Lee and he’s a much better fighter than Ortiz. Ortiz almost had đeontay, who was later knocked out by Andy Ruiz, who was defeated by Parker. That puts the two much closer than a lot of people realize. Most people just don’t know Parker. Your comment is tone deaf

And also because Wilder cannot box
I’m a kiwi so obviously hoping for joe , but tipping wilder , Just concerns me how joe looks for rests when he tires
@@brianhanes5413U can't do that against wilder he's always got punches to spare.

Showbizz jizzing over Wilder claiming he's better than Tyson is a joke. Tyson would destroy Wilder.
Parker wins the fight for me. He's been in with elite HW's. Wilder has cherry picked his way to the WBC title and then thought Fury would be another easy fight because of his layoff out of the ring fuelled by coke and booze. Fury psyched him out from the word go. Parker believes in himself. He's KO'd opponents before but his boxing skills will win him the fight.

In comparison to Wilder's cherry picking "resume" Parker's list of opponents I have listed is elite.
showbizz is full of crap, George Foreman, Razor Ruddock, Mike Tyson, and several others had huge one punch k.o. power, the hype around Wilder is rubbish, he's a crap boxer who was behind in every fight he's been in, the reason he wins is because of his right hand, but, he's only ever fought two decent opponents, Tyson Fury and Parker, and what happened when faced with a premier boxer, HE LOSES, if Wilder boxed in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, he'd lose most fights.

Thumbnail was clickbait but it ironically turned out to be true
Imagine They have Joe Joyce up on the thumbnail & not Parker !
The weigh in he was to laid back sponk up wilder and its him all day. We need STEVERN WILDER IN THE RING. FAST OUT TO HURT AND SO INTO IT HE SWUNG THE REF AROUND ON HIS BACK. THATS A DANGEROUS WILDER.
That wasnt parker in the picture that eas joyce lol
🤣😂😂😂WIlder was outboxed, outbrawled, outlanded, it was a shot out, a virtuoso performance between a basic pro boxer in Joe Parker with no special effects against a one trick pony pro boxer in Deontay Wilder, who looked worse than an amateur tonight. Can't call wilder an all time great, who are the 3 best fighters wilder has beat. All time greats do not get coddled like wilder did
Wilder has impressed me with his mental maturity since the aftermath of the Fury losses. He went from not accepting defeat and making ridiculous excuses to now being cautiously confident, humble, and just seems more laid back. I think this new mentality helps Wilder settle in and find that flow that allows him to land the big one.
Wilder actually the same guy he's aways been. If u talk crazy he will to, if your cool he is to. Fury talk to much trash and call names to make people laugh at wilder or whoever so yeah u gonna talk crazy to. Before fury wilder just did what Ali did predict his win, not callin people names just trying to put fear in you and sell the fight. Now after fury three fights he wealthy so he can take it or leave it. Plus he saw how once he loss to fury all the people that was praising him turned on him, interviewers, Fans etc. Now he see things different. Something bout a loss, which is why fighters picking easy fights. Mike Tyson, Ali, Hollyfield, all became nice guys after they loss. Even after francis fight Fury became nice😂😂😂
