I've enjoyed learning about my body by wearing a continuous glucose monitor now for over a year. I don't eliminate foods, but I can learn to better incorporate the foods that are important to me!
I also LOVED the book Glucose Revolution: check that out here - amzn.to/42zE7fU
I love intermittent fasting and have been eating mostly OMAD since June 2020. Even though OMAD is my standard, I love being flexible in my schedule and will at times have variations to keep things interesting. I have lost weight, got into a healthy weight range for my height and maintained the weight loss for over 3 years! I love to share the flexibility and peace offered through intermittent fasting.

Always protein before sugar! It helps so much!
Great experience ....Glucose Godess also believes in moving for 10 min after a meal..Thanks for doing this for us!
Please do more of these videos ? Very helpful !
My favorite cookie from Panera!!!! Intermittent Fasting is so amazing...we can eat cookies and still lose weight! (Down 70 pounds and still enjoying cookies - thank you Jackie!!!!!)
Thanks for sharing this information. I need to do more experiments with my Nutrisense. I’ve tried a pickle test and salad test, but haven’t thought too much about protein, I’ll have to try this.
SO interesting!!! I’ve got to do this on myself!! Really like these videos. Thanks!
Awesome research video🎉 Thank you.
Very interesting!! Thanks for doing this and sharing 💜
This was fun!
Could you explain the numbers a tiny bit more? I’m a newbie. are you aiming for 100? Does that mean it stayed steady? Also The difference between 70 and 100 does seem that steep…
More please ❤
I've used CGMs and learned a lot too...very valuable. Can you discuss if and how many grams of protein you aim for in a day please. As we age muscle is so important and is the organ of longevity as Dr Gabrielle Lyon has stated. So how do you squeeze it into you window? Thx!😍💕
Please more of this. I want to see how you react with flavored sparkling w flavored electrolytes and also them separately while fasting. Glucose Goddess always says veggie fiber, then protein fat, then sugar or carb...ive always understood you need those 2 parts before the sweet. then lifting arm weights or walking after
Please be careful eating at Panera. Their food is high in glyphosate.
I open my fast with beef jerky, love to know how this does.
This is a cool experiment but worrying about the macros of the food I’m eating is the kind of “diet brain” I’m trying to avoid. Sometimes I break my fast with a cookie, sometimes a protein shake… OMAD is freedom from that kind of worry to me. This video is super interesting though!
I never seen anyone eat a raw green bell pepper 🫑😮
Was it a clean oil in the dressing?
Good morning Jackie from beautiful and snowy Arizona 🇺🇸 try the same cookie experiment 2or3 home made burgers with cheese and bacon and salad Evoo and lemon for dressing very low carb wait 45 min and then have the cookie thank you Jackie 😏
I'm confused as well. I thought the higher glucose number was not what you wanted. The lower the number the better. My husband is a diabetic so I am a little familiar with the readings. Please explain.
From what I saw the numbers she was sharing were a grade/score based on the actual blood sugar readings... there was a little graph below showing those actual readings :-)
I'm confused. It looks like your blood sugar was lower at the peak with just the cookie alone than with the other foods.
The only issue that I am seeing here is that you don’t know how much insulin your body is releasing to control the amount of glucose after each meal! Your body is doing its job but you don’t know what is going on in the background.
