Many of you are saying you can't see the difference because you are watching on a "60Hz display", lol. Firstly, UA-cam don't offer more than 60FPS uploads. Well they do but they compress it down to 60 anyway. This is recorded at 60Hz but it does not matter because secondly, I slow the clips down a lot so that you can see the difference between actual frames on each screen at once. I wouldn't upload something where someone cannot actually watch it or is impossible to watch due to it not being a high refresh rate video? That would be stupid. The purpose of this video is to show EVERYONE watching, no matter what on, the difference between 60 to 144fps on phone displays when the clip is slowed down just to get a feeling for how many frames are actually missing at lower refresh rate displays. But thanks for watching guys, cheers😎✌️
It's hard to see the difference, in slow motion though, you can see it, on the 120hz and 144hz when scrolling it looks like it's "ghosting" or having motion blur, probably because there are more than double the frames being refreshed and synced... I imagine/hope when you're using it you don't notice this, and instead it only feels smoother, cause that's the actual point of higher refresh rates.
You did slow it down but it’s not slow mo which is what people are complaining about I suggest if you make this video again, use a slow mo camera that records 100 or more frames THEN we can see the difference

Thats not at all what he was saying. He slowed it down so you can see it more clearly when filmed and on a youtube video at 30fps on your screen with most likely 60hz. Of hours it won't look like it, but irl you could really tell.
I have a 144hz pc monitor and the difference with 60hz is amazing but i think that in phones 120hz or more is unnecessary and consume a lot of battery so in a phone i prefer 60 or 90
I think the 144hz on phones might be necessary, because 144hz has become a standard on PC monitors as well. This would help developers to make cross-platform apps and games.
My preferrence on a phone: ■ 720p resolution, ■ 90hz display, ■ 5000mah or greater, ■ Medium range processor (since I don't play heavy games). Thats all I need. The rest are extras
I switched from my Huawei Mate 9 with 60Hz to the Poco x3 120Hz and its awesome, even my Pc Monitor has 144Hz and its much pleasent for the eyes while working on it.
I want to point out that LCD IPS 60hz/120hz/144hz isn't the same as their amoled counterparts. Which is why higher refresh rate LCD screens aren't that much smoother than 60/90hz amoled screens. Heck I would even say 90hz amoled is much more responsive and smoother than LCD 120hz. The explanation? Amoled screens have much lower pixel latency, the pixel response is much faster. That's why most 60hz LCD screens look really choppy next to to their amoled counterparts. Don't buy into high refresh rate LCD screen phones, they're not worth it, you're better off getting a 60hz amoled screen. Way better battery too. I currently own the red magic 5g (amoled 144hz), OnePlus 6 (amoled 60hz) multiple LCD screen phones and tablets including the realme q, lg v20 and Huawei t5 (these three are 60hz LCD IPS), so I've verified all this myself. One more thing to add, the 60 to 90hz difference on amoled is huggeee. 90hz to 144hz is significant enough to notice but really hard to tell apart, what's really noticable though is the much higher battery drain. 90hz is definitely the sweet spot. 90hz is too good to go back from but I can still deal with and love a good 60hz amoled panel, but LCD is pretty much impossible for me to use without being disgusted. Not to add that the colors and contrast don't look anywhere near as good on the cheap LCD panels most ips display phones use. Don't get me wrong, there are decent ips phones out there but they will still look disgusting next to an amoled phone any day.
@@dxyxtnx8819 อิอิ งุงิ one, I didn't write anything about Android or iOS.. anyways, that's because that video compared a slower Samsung with a sd820 soc and the much faster a10 fusion soc in the iPad (2018). The a10 fusion chip is roughly 20% faster.. this isn't even a close or fair competition. Let's talk about another thing, apple uses better IPS panels so the amoled/IPS difference isn't as large. Most cheap IPS panel phones use crappy IPS panels that make motion and animations very choppy. Let's talk about another thing, that's not JUST android, that's oneui, not all android is created equal. It could very well be only Samsung's OS that's slower than other android os. Not to mention that video only compared pen performance. If you've never seen 144 Hz in real life you'll never know what's it's like. It's a massive difference. Games look buttery smooth. And the response time between mouse and movement makes you feel connected.
Personally, I use my phone more as a mobile entertainment device than anything so I'd actually like a 120hz phone. But the big thing is price and what compromises I have to make.
Switching back and forth between a 90 Hz and 60Hz phone display, it is always jarring. Text just seems to blur more when scrolling at 60Hz and my eyes feel more uncomfortable liked they aren't able to focus on the screen. With that said, after a while my eyes do readjust.

By the way even i dont use phone in slow motion but still there is a lot of difference.
Thats not at all what he was saying. He slowed it down so you can see it more clearly when filmed and on a youtube video at 30fps on your screen with most likely 60hz. Of hours it won't look like it, but irl you could really tell.
2:39 i've read that separate pictures/frames get blended at 12fps !
Woooooow
Red Magic 5G !!!🤗🤗🤗
That black shark 3 pro screen 😍🦈💯💯 90hz the sweet spot 😎
I have a 144hz pc monitor and the difference with 60hz is amazing but i think that in phones 120hz or more is unnecessary and consume a lot of battery so in a phone i prefer 60 or 90
I think the 144hz on phones might be necessary, because 144hz has become a standard on PC monitors as well. This would help developers to make cross-platform apps and games.
Whenever graphene batteries become a thing, battery will not be an issue anymorw
Lol anything over 90hz is overrated and unnecessarily draining your battery
“Your eye can only see 60fps or lower”
Gamers who’ve dealt with this argument for decades: “I’m going to have to stop you right there…”
My preferrence on a phone:
■ 720p resolution,
■ 90hz display,
■ 5000mah or greater,
■ Medium range processor (since I don't play heavy games).
Thats all I need. The rest are extras
Im so used to the ipad pro 120hz that looking at 90-120hz screen feels like 60hz
You just said that looking at 120 hz feels like 60 hz look at your comment again
Samsung Gaming i did, what are you trying to point out?
I switched from my Huawei Mate 9 with 60Hz to the Poco x3 120Hz and its awesome, even my Pc Monitor has 144Hz and its much pleasent for the eyes while working on it.
cant see frame changes smoothly due to the camera u r using...
The different is much bigger than what i thought after i switched from 60 to 120
So the only way you’re going to notice a difference is in slow mo. Sorry to say our eyes can’t make things slower.
If You will ever use a smartphone with 90hz display you will see the difference
He slowed it down because UA-cam is locked at 60fps(hz) so without slow-mo you can't see the difference here
Has Snapdragon 865, the cutting edge of mobile GPU performance.
"Look how well it plays subway surfers"
Well he only tested Subway Surfers because it has no hz cap.
I have the 8pro...and i Love it 😍
60 Hz is fine, until you tried 120 Hz yourself. Then you'll realise, you can"t never go back
Yup
Of course you can go back
You know the vivo iqoo neo 3 5g has 144 hz, and it Costs around 300 to 500 dollars depending where you buying it
How do you not have 1mill subscribers already? I watch all of them and you do the best vids....
You mean views
LemonZone android has more latency than ios at same refresh rate.

You are wrong !

If you want a more apples to apples comparison try to find a more similar spec device comparison.. and look for a speed test.
LemonZone How ?
I didnt mention anbout android/ios.
just look 120Hz LCD smoother than 90Hz OLED. Watch second video i have replied you.
If you've never seen 144 Hz in real life you'll never know what's it's like. It's a massive difference. Games look buttery smooth. And the response time between mouse and movement makes you feel connected.

90 is all we need but 120 is perfect
I see that op has the most "square"ish screen, with smallest round corners. The other 3 simply aren't worth it.
Unless you able to do slow motion like the matrix, get happy with your old 60hz screen technology..
120 hz and 144 hz are just gimmick!
90hz is more than enough for high end games on smartphones!
Thanks a lot 😊🥰☺️ Broh.... 🔥🔥🥰
Merry Christmas 🎄☃️🎄☃️
Throughout the video I was staring at red magic 5g
That 144hz display really good.
Why the hell would you think you will see a difference in a 60fps video?
Going between 60hz and 120hz is night and day. Feels way smother
Finally someone explain this with proof 1 thumbs up
Personally, I use my phone more as a mobile entertainment device than anything so I'd actually like a 120hz phone. But the big thing is price and what compromises I have to make.
"The human eye can only see 60 fps"
Dude.. that myth was debunked over a decade ago...
Switching back and forth between a 90 Hz and 60Hz phone display, it is always jarring. Text just seems to blur more when scrolling at 60Hz and my eyes feel more uncomfortable liked they aren't able to focus on the screen. With that said, after a while my eyes do readjust.
No idea what I'm actually looking at here. Call me crazy but I actually like the 60hz panel more on this video. 🤷♂️
Maybe because that is what you are used to. I just got my new Xbox Series X, I was used to gaming on 30fps, then I suddenly had 60 in some games and oh boy, the speed was disorienting at first, but now - I don't want to go back.
When you are out of coverage area with no signal, that difference is more significant.
Wait a minute... I tried to detect the difference between these phones , then I realized that I have a 60Hz phone. Bruh..:)
Great comparison Nick ! 👍
I'd say 90hz is the sweet spot
i had a 90hz one plus and then switched to 120hz S20, but i don't find any difference between those two, just in the battery 120hz drains faster.
You will see real difference when paying double amount to get that refresh rate..
I'm fine with 60.im not interested to slow down to see all 120 frames by paying double money
Android 120hz to iphone 60hz is like how old iphone were to old Android phones
Android is smoother now.
Isheep be like : 60Hz is better than 120Hz 😰😰😲
you are recording at 90HZ! how do we know the difference? I use 120hz POCO X3 and its great in games only and specially!
I'm feeling dizzy 😩😩after watching this
Same here😩
90/60=1.5; 120/90=1.33; 144/120=1.2.. naturally 60 to 90 shows more difference..
Typing this from my 120Hz ipad, i would just like to say that i am blown away by how companies are marketing such an irrelevant feature so effectively!
DONT PAY EXTRA FOR MORE REFRESH RATE!
You have to change the refresh rate to 120hz in the settings first
@@hernimaniak2379 No buddy, its always on by default.
@@ShashwatBachchan i mean my dad ordered a 120hz phone and he had to turn it on manually
@@hernimaniak2379 oh right, iPad has it enabled by default because of the larger battery. Just feel there aren't a lot of use cases to utilise it as of now, scrolling content and some games appeals to a narrow audience. For me, I barely notice a difference going back to a 60hz device.
Yes I can see the difference on my Poco F3. However youtube just cap 60fps by default whereas some other videos support 120fps
