With ACT Greece, the second destination of the »Adventure Country Tracks« project has been worked out. Adventure bikers with a joy of discovery can experience a lot of riding fun on this varying route across Greece and get to know entirely new facets of this country.
Adventure Country Tracks (ACT) always cross one country. The routing is designed to connect as many unpaved tracks as possible. But also a few asphalted side roads are part of an ACT route.
This concept does not only provide a lot of riding fun for adventure bikers, it also allows the traveler to discover the less known facets of the country beyond the well-trodden paths.
After Portugal, ACT Greece is the second destination of the Adventure Country Tracks project. More countries are supposed to follow with routes being developed in the same fashion for travelers with a joy of discovery.
You can find the tracks and some basic information for free on the ACT website. Users receive a reliably worked out route, serving as a guideline for their own tours. Since the route can be varied randomly, according to everyone’s personal schedule, the character of an individual journey will be preserved.
Adventure Country Tracks was initiated by Touratech; numerous companies of the European motorcycle industry support the project.

Great Vid ! We use to follow the TET for our adventure trips but we often had to backtrack because it’s not always suitable for big trail bikes. We then did the ACT Pyrenees this summer and it is just what we were looking for !! Perfect.
As a side note : I understand that there are not a lot of flat terrain areas up in the mountains but I’m not sure a river bed is the best spot to spend the night. Storms are frequent and unpredictable, you are at risk of flash flooding and loose your gear, bikes or even life.
utube algorythm brought me here and im glad it did because i had the chance to watch this video. Greece is truly an amazing country to visit with spectacular landscape. The video is awesome and the motorbikers are real badass.

75 years ago in the same Greek mountains , ELAS Partizans (the largest partisan movement in Europe) chased Germans soldiers in warior battles. Today (75 years later), Germans, Greek, Portuguese Riders, with German, Italian, and Japanese motorbikes rejoice riding, deserted streets and they taste the unpolluted nature.
This is a peaceful coexistence. This is a real life,its magic,its blessing & cheering riding.

It's peaceful in Europe yes I'll give you that, but it isn't in the Middle-East, we're in the end of times, and the civilizations and nations will devour each at where first civilization started ; the middle east...
Inspired by this great movie and the possibility to download the GPS data of the tracks I rode the tracks of Day 1-3 about about 2 weeks ago with my F800GS (TKC70 tires) and my girl friend as passenger.
We had perfect weather conditions, but due to heavy rain in winter and spring most of the tracks seemed to be more washed out than in the movie.
Also the two brooks we had to cross had a higher water level. It was a real adventure for us and absolutly great!!!
Many thanks to Touratech for making it possible to enrich our holidays in Greece with this experience!
Next year we will do the tracks of day 4 and 5...
Astonished..that how you discover the country side away from concrete Jungle..finding your self in those lovely trails..the trails of Adventurer..meeting good mates..some will keep contact after the trip,memories..

I have never seen a Turtle at that high altitude. Amazing. The terrain looks similar to where I grew up, Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, but we definitely do not have Turtles wandering across roads in the mountains. Great video, thank you very much.

Awesome video and epic music. 80% off road is a true adventure. I did notice the one water crossing both Vstroms and Africa twin were the only ones that didn't need help. Sorry but I'm a Vstrom fan and thought it was neat to see. Only one broken pannier speaks well of all the bikes.

Das war sicher das ehrlichste Video, das ich von Touratech kenne. Die Landschaft sehr schön eingefangen, keine Langeweile durch unnötige Gimmecks. Interessant fand ich die Stelle mit dem Bach, die nur von AT und VS gepackt wurden, alle anderen schoben. In der Realität (ich lächelte über den Unsinn, man müßte Europa nicht verlassen...) gibt es Überschwemmungen, in denen es so reißt, daß Steine übers Wasser fliegen. Ich sah erschreckend viele Fahrfehler. Was ich wissen möchte - wo läßt man die Drohne? Paßt sowas in den Seitenkoffer?
:) Die AT sieht in den meissen Szenen am elegantesten aus

they would have been so much better off on smaller bikes. I’ll bet it was nervous riding on those Expensive too tall pristine over equipped machines..Reminds me of a EWAN McGregor and Charlie Boorman riding their BMW GS machines across Mongolia on their trip around the world. All through that series they kept saying, these are the wrong machines for this kind of trip

No offence but I can do your backcountry routes on a pit bike lol don't need huge bikes 🤣 pretty tamed movie!
I still maintain, those panniers are , ugly, hideous and dangerous, use soft paniers, hard ones get caught kn crap and can break legs, I go on long trips through AFRICA , in live in South Africa, only use SOFT TOP BOX , and pack what I need on passenger seat has been removed and modified, 2010 GS 1200, nevertheless great video, very similar riding terrains as Africa.
