It's also shown that throwing a robot into the machine will cause the whole setup to explode. All that in mind, what do you imagine would happen if Belle were thrown into one? Would she get a bit of a metal hat/shoe sole before exploding? Would the answer change with Robo-Robotnik's robotisization touch instead of the full machine?
31:23 - I like to see Amy and Metal Sonic as rivals (especially in the classic universe since the 30th anniversary special), and I think a lot of fans are really happy to see Amy return to the forefront in games and be featured a lot in the comic recently. So, with a lot of fans being reintroduced to Neo Metal Sonic in the comics and in the recent forces fan project, do you think there's room for Neo Metal to come back into the story and possibly become a rival for Amy to mirror this in the modern canon? Or is his arc over for now?

I'd find it strange if everyone knew about them, but so few people seem to be actively hunting them. I know the main characters are well aware, but what about more average folks, like Nite the Owl? Specifically, the world of IDW Sonic now has to deal with the sudden and horrifying manifestation of The Lich from Adventure Time. [Explanation of The Lich] With this in mind, how would you write a story where the world of Sonic the Hedgehog deals with The Lich, who's basically The End in every way?

So on that note I was curious what your thoughts were concerning Doctor Fukurokov, the chief scientist of the Battle Kukku. Do you think he has any potential to be an enjoyable threat who is distinct enough from Eggman to be interesting? Are his evil inventions distinct from Eggmans in your opinion? How would his dynamic with the cast be compared to Eggman Nega?

Now Blaze, Whisper, Jewel, Surge, Tikal, and Espio are madly in love with Silver and want to rizz him up in return! 42:20 A very minor correction but NIDS isn't linked to any real conditions as far as I've looked into it. It has naming (and vaguely implied effect?) similarities to AIDS but there's too little information on Maria's condition to know if it behaves similarly to it as well, and with how it's depicted it seems like it's something one is born with. There IS something called NIDS but the acronym means something else and it's a psychological syndrome, so Maria's symptoms don't match at all. I do still agree it'd be a bit crass to comment on if treatment has gotten any better due to its vague similarities to actual illness, though, I just figured I'd offer a brief explanation for anyone curious.
Unironically, I think a Sonic O6 adaptation with Chris as Elise could actually work really well. For the sake of ease, let’s just say this is post Metarex Saga, so Chris could be an adult. The struggle of a wildly emotional person holding in their emotions so they don’t cry and release the flames upon everyone could be compelling, and Sonic does have some sort of connection with Chris. You’ve got Rouge directing Shadow around, maybe Omega’s there, you’ll of course have Sonic’s team and Silver’s, and Eggman will have Bocoe, Decoe, and Bokkun, with the two robots taking Eggman’s role of endless kidnapping, and Bokkun directing around the heroes. And at the end, instead of a kiss to revive Sonic, have Chris hold Sonic’s hand and focus his bond into reviving power.

I've been wondering where Sonic got that intergalactic guide book in Sonic X Season 3. Is it the Sonic 'verse's equivalent to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? What shenanigans would happen if such a book existed in the Game/IDW canon?

How does the AoSTH cast handle the transition from classic to modern and the modern designs of characters transition to AoSTH, how do the specials play out and how intimidated are Scratch and Grounder of Chaos (0 to Perfect) and Shadow the Hedgehog?

The scenario you pitched for The Lich and Infinite sounds a lot like what happened to New Death (a.k.a. the son of Life and Death) in Adventure Time: Distant Lands. If that means Infinite will have some kind of redemption arc, I'd be down with that. However, I think the Lich would be better off teaming up with Mephiles since they're both literal demigods of death. Plus, imagine the Lich possessing something as powerful as Solaris. Of course, Mephiles is dead so it wouldn't happen either way. BTW, the answer you gave for the last question was hilarious. Oh Ian Flynn, what have you done? Still love what you do.

1. You guys have plenty of ideas for Mega Man, but what about a certain other robot superhero, Astro Boy? I remember watching his 2003 series on Toonami and am currently doing some research on his history. Nothing too crazy, just thoughts on the character and his different series?
2. Since TailsTube confirmed the multiverse is still a thing, does that mean the other versions of Sonic, like the Archie comics and the Paramount movies, are some of those universes?

Hello everyone! First of all, your podcasts are super cool, I listen to them while drawing time to time.
I have a quick question: sometimes I feel like certain events in the IDW comics are kinda rushed through a little quickly and deserves a little more development time (or maybe it's just my imagination) , so I was wondering; is there a schedule imposed by SEGA and the Sonic Team so that issues corresponding to game releases or events linked to the franchise in general (I believe that this was more or less the case for the return of Surge and her appearance in the mobile game Sonic Forces Speed Battle)
I feel like Ian Flynn has watched all of Sonic X while it was running and felt like he was robbed a few years of his life when it finished

From my understanding, somebody somehow took a joke Kyle made on Monday’s episode (the one about Sonadow Generations being at least as long of Sonic Generations) seriously and said _Ian_ revealed Shadow’s campaign will be as long as the main campaign. Despite this individual missing the joke and being wrong about who said it, thousands of people believed them (though they deleted the tweet when they were corrected) and Ian had to release a statement about it.

@@egg8404 In this case, I think it was more that folk really want the Shadow campaign to be a fully fleshed out experience. The original poster didn't seem to have any malicious intent, and apologized for the tweet after being informed they were wrong.
Here's hoping people use this experience to not take every leak as gospel. Whether it's false hope or irrational anger, I imagine a lot of people were disappointed when they learned their "confirmation" came from a man who has never even worked on Sonic.

I watched PR MegaForce, the characters are expies to the MMPR cast, Troy the red ranger was a loner in the beginning to study martial arts and his personality reminds me of both Knuckles and Shadow, Noah the blue ranger is the billy, Jake the black ranger is the Zack, Gia the Trini, and Emma the Kimberly, the zords they pilot are animal heads attached to the bodies of vehicles red Dragon/Airliner, pink phoenix/jet, blue Shark/Sub, black Snake/Bullet Train, and yellow Tiger/Dozer, the mentor Gosei is Gordon's apprentice and Tensou the robot assistant, the six ranger is a robot RoboKnight, How a Team up with MegaForce and Sonic Prime cast turn out?
