Is it weird that I now start every QoFy reaction video to an absolute banger from Voiceplay with the thought "I hope QoFy's remembered to put his pants on for this one?" 😁
Eli finally got to do those screams that Cesar stole from him in Dream On.😂 And did you notice Geoff’s gun and dropping bullet moment that happened right after that crazy Anthony and Eli combo?🤯
It’s super fun to listen to this stuff with you. I’m a visually impaired self-trained vocalist and a former percussionist. I was in the band in high school. I have such a freaking hard time processing everything, especially the panning from one ear to the other. Thank you for pointing the smaller details out.
Thank you so much for playing it all the way through! Your reactions were written all over your face, and it was a joy to see. This group has so many songs to choose from, and every single one is a gem. More please.
I never know what to expect from these guys..but I’m always to be left with half my soul leaving my body..between Anthony’s riffs, Eli’s belt, Geoff’s bass..the Laine pulls out his whole bag of tricks and leaves nothing behind.🤯🔥‼️. Always appreciate when you’re able to do a reaction followed by an analysis..your attention to details is impeccable!..Extra goodness ☺️❤️‼️
I have come to the opinion that this is my favorite VoicePlay. I like their lighter stuff too but they do such an amazing thing with this kind of harder driving rock music. Geoff’s arrangements are stellar, Eli and Cesar bring the rock god belts, Layne’s beatboxing is 🔥🔥🔥, and they always pick just the right collab to complete the song. Thanks for the reaction Qofy, your faces on the first play through were the same as mine! #ShoutOuttotheQofyGang
All the guys were fantastic in this but Eli really stood out for me. He just crushed it! And I don't know whether to praise Layne or call an exorcist! 😂😂 Awesome reaction!! ❤
I love that you do your reactions with a straight run through - some of your facial expressions are priceless 😆- then break it down on a second run through 👍 The sounds that Layne produces 🤯..... how?? Surely no human should be able to do that! Add to that Geoff's bone-melting basslines and the runs, riffs, harmonies and belts from Anthony, Cesar and Eli and this is just amazing! Another outstanding offering from the guys.
Thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. Geoff's bass is the best ever. These guys are amazing. Geoff did an amazing job with this arrangement. Best cover ever.
Love this cover so much. It is so nuanced, and I feel like I hear new things every time I relisten. Eli did actually drag the bat during shooting, but it gave a different sound. You can tell this was more of a concrete sound that they sampled.
When PTX released Creep it automatically made me think of Post Modern Jukebox and then Seven Nation Army because Haley ate both those songs, then the next day this. But I do have to say for Creep Street Corner Symphony is my favorite.
Awesome reaction as always Qofy. They killed this one. I never heard of this until Voiceplay posted it on patreon. Then I listened to the original as I do with all their videos that I've never heard before. And that one is awesome as well. But of course Voiceplay is better. My favorite part is Caesar's solo. But also love Rock God Eli. From what I gathered from the behind the scenes video that dragging the bat in the beginning was done during filming. But don't quote me on it. All the graffiti and everything yo see in the video background was already there. They had to cover some of it up before filming. You're thinking of Golden Hour.
Okay first off, how have I not seen this reaction before? I've been subscribed to your channel for a long time now! I love your reactions! How have I missed this one?? Anyway... You've got a beautiful voice. I really enjoyed listening to you sing lines from the song to point out particular things in it. And speaking of you pointing things out: the spot towards the end of the song where Anthony does a falsetto riff and then Eli picks up that note with a grittier tone- I've listened to this cover so many times and had never noticed it. Thank you so much for pointing that out. You've added another level of enjoyment for me!
As to the bat.... it did make noise as he dragged it. Was it the noise you heard? Gotta be a VoicePlay patron at the level to watch the bts to find out. 🤫 Also, 🫣 where you said they dragged it out from Geoff's bass.... you missed that the bass there is Geoff AND LAYNE in unison (Layne doing his ingressive phonation).
The sound that doesn't seem like a voice in the "instumental" part reminds me of what loopstation beatboxer do sometime, I wonder if that is how they manage to get the sound?
Great job! Loved the insights. It took me 3 times before i saw and heard the gun reference because of all the goodness at that time. Love it! Keeps you going back for more...those sly devils!❤
Someone else said it, but i am hard of hearing, mostly lower registers so i dont catch alot of bass, baritone vocals, drums. Its mild in one ear and near profound in the other. I didnt know there was anything happening differently between left and right until you mentioned it. Thank you for helping us HOH viewers/listeners❤❤❤
I did subscribe to your channel yesterday, watching something else (also voice play) That was kind of spontaneous and I might have unsubscribed again soon. I've watched more than one more of your reactions since I subscribed. Now I am sure, I'm gonna keep the subscription.Because: You are one of the few reactors who are not (as far as I knoe) professional musicians and still are intelligent enough to understand the subtleties of music to react appropriately. i.e. at this moment I feel the two of us are on a similar level of understanding music. Maybe when we progress differently, I'll unsubscribe, maybe I'll stay subscribed out of interest in your path - the future will tell! Anyway: love this reaction! Greetings from Germany.
Wait, did you just pronounce "epitome" as three syllables? Is that from a regional accent (and if so, which one)? I've never encountered it before, and I am intrigued.
@@parkerbrown-nesbit1747 The four-syllable pronunciation is pretty much universal in the Midwest for certain, and I think in quite a lot of other places as well. M-W lists only four-syllable pronunciations, which is strongly suggestive that all the major American dialects are similar in this regard. The OED agrees, which suggests that the majority pronunciation in Britain is also four syllables, and I found limited evidence (an audio sample on Wiktionary) that at least some Australians likewise use the four-syllable pronunciation. I'm guessing that the three-syllable pronunciation is probably regional, but I'm curious as to which region it's from, as I've not encountered it before.
this one is seen as the third in the Apocalypse series, Warriors and Dream On as numbers 1 & 2. After watching this video several times today alone I have to keep reminding myself that Home Free is still my favorite. Barely.
Check out all VoicePlay reactions 😊 :

the reason why it reminds you off warriors its because seven nation army is the end of the triolgy that started with warriors

Finally someone mentions that finger-gun affair! THANK YOU!!
Dude.
I’m sorry you’re loosing your hearing. As a musician I know how painful that must be! I’m glad I’m able to help you enjoy good music! ❤

Has anyone pointed out how comfortable Eli looks with a bat? Damn. They were all so excellent! I'm stunned how good this is.

That riff from Anthony to Eli is one of my favorite parts as well!

Golden Hour, Anthony collaborated on with them

Some incredible sounds in that one. And how Geoff keeps that bass line going on and on and on. Amazing.
I ❤your reaction, I swear all your expressions during that, I had when I first watched this 😂. They just keep pushing the bar higher
❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍 THEY PULLED A CHAOTIC WALL OF SOUND!!😊😊😊😊
Geoff possessed Qofy for a second there! 🤣🤣🤣
This is a third post-apocalyptic video from VoicePlay, following Warriors and Dream On, though this time, they've become the bad guys.
That was just an amazing reaction, Voiceplay has just surprised us and we have just died 😅 I just love ❤️ Voiceplay

Always love your analysis, QoFy!! That hand off from Anthony to Eli was amazing!
I've been addicted to this song since it hit Patreon, absolutely amazing cover. Every one of the guys just killed it!!!
Anthony was in golden hour. Gargiula is spelled "gardschula". Thank you for the reaction and greetings from Austria.
Fan Freaking Tastic!
Lordy this will go down as one of my faves. Wow just WOW
We LOVE you Qofy......great to see you have such a good time reacting to VoicePlay......they KNOW how to get your attention.......>^^
Thank you so much for your analysis! Like your singing along and pointing out the highlights...
Thank you for jumping on this so quickly. You have gained a new subscriber!
You mentioned that this video reminds you of Warriors. That song, this one and Dream On are apparently part of a trilogy
oh that’s awesome
When I finally got to sit down and listen to this, I saw on the sidebar that you had already reacted-made my evening. Love your reactions, Qofy!
I enjoy your love of music and Voiceplay
🔥 killed it!!!
Appreciate your VP reactions, your enjoyment of it and sharing what you discern in it. Thank you!
They went off on this. Loved your reaction!
This cover is the one that comes up when I get the song stuck in my head
This is insanely grand. It builds and builds to sonically intense. Hard to believe there's only 5 people.
Its ok qofy.... i was also questioning everything in life during my first listen.
Great reaction as usual!!!! I learn so much about music from your videos. Keep up the awesome work.

That's how it's pronounced. It threw me too, when I first encountered the word and its pronunciation, at four.
