There is no battery in 1.0 tsi evo e-tec, If you are driving at about 60kmh and go off the gas pedal the car goes into off mode (gliding) when you press the gas pedal it turns on again the engine.it works upp to 130kmh (gliding)
There seems to be alot of owner complaints regarding software issues with majority of this model which affects the use of simple things like aircon and major things like car hitting brakes as the car thinks there is an object in front it. Has this now been resolved or is Skoda still denying there is an issue?
When you mention it has USB Charger's, how many slots does it have? The taxi company i work for are switching to these very soon and i need to figure out how i connect my phone, phone holder and Card Machine all at the same time o_o
@@Privat1495I’ve had mine nearly 3 years, where’s the 4th one in the front? I only know the 2 in the centre console and the one in the mirror for the dash cam.
Worrying and concerning that nearly one year from this video being posted and seven months from being asked, the two important questions below, have not been acknowledged, never mind addressed directly.
It’s a very reliable car and very good fuel economy, much better than Toyota and Hyundai hybrids, very cheap to run and the best thing the maintenance very cheap as compared to Toyota and Hyuy
No and any taxi driver who has experienced both will agree. These are no better than just having a petrol engine without the battery. Whereas the Toyota almost doubles what you would get without the battery and just a 1.8.
@@thistimeimhere toyota does them on mpg but took both corolla hybrid estate and a new skoda octavia 2.0 TDI test drives back to back and personally much prefer the drive quality of the newer skodas over the toyota
Toyota are way ahead with these. Guys with corrola hybrids are getting 60 to 80mpg working as a taxi. Octavia guys are only getting high 40s so seems crap tbh.
Does the hybrid battery fan have a filter that needs serviced, similar to the Toyotas, and if yes how easy is it to access?

I don’t know why anyone would bother with the hybrid one. I get 55mpg average out of my 1.5SE L most days.

would you recommend to get one of these 1.0 e tecs over Toyota?
No they aren't. I'm getting 77mpg out my toyota. Guys with these are barely touching 50mpg.
