3:53 as an owner of a ps5, the meme of it having no games is funny because it is true and pisses people off. Cause even when it does get a game, they're movies with button mashing
The ps5 indeed didn't see a price drop, for the first time in human history, a gaming console has become more expensive years after it released... Let that sink in.
It see a price hike recently ... With so little games that PS5 have there are no real justification to have PS5 Pro. Also journalists nowdays has no respect from me.
If your PC is so much better than a console, why do you have to beg for our games? Sony doesn’t owe you Bloodborne. If your platform is truly superior, just keep playing Dota 2 and CS:GO. Maybe focus on those endless mods and upgrades instead of coveting what we have.
@@Hono1256searching for a PC begger is like fishing for a tractor. It's ridiculous and unlikely. We don't beg, we own 🤷🏿♂️💪🏿 But fun, a troll! Look everyone, a lowlife who thinks his opinions matter! Point and laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Comparison by PC Jesus himself: "Nobody should be under the illusion the PS5 is a top tier gaming machine because that is just not true. It is an affordable living room box. It is equivalent in gaming performance to mid to high end PC from around 5 years ago. That is where this thing is." - Steve, Gamer's Nexus
Not this nonsense, again. Didn't it already leak that the PS5 pro will have the same APU as the PS5? That leaves firmware tweaks and some hardware acceleration.
The leaks actually show it will have a bump in GPU performance. The PS5 has 36 active CUs whereas the leaks says 60 active CUs which is equivalent to the 7800 XT. It's the CPU that isn't getting much of a bump.
It's already bottlenecked so that extra 10% if CPU power will equate to about 10% more performance. The PS5Pro is a junk upgrade if you don't upgrade your CPU
I'm still on PS4. Ain't no way I was gonna spend $2000usd ona console...AND wait 8-10 months! Lol Once I looked at the PS5 stats being so lackluster, I finally built a PC.
How much spiked pony ski slopes do these people inhale they think an invisible console is stronger than current PC hardware to date?! Absolutely mental. Also fun fact that a PS5 in Austrailia is 749 bucks without tax and that doesn't even include accessories will more expensive than that budget build PC. Oh and your PS5 will still get cooked by it lol.
It's not surprising I already have Sony fanboys telling me the current PS5 is faster than anything on PC. But they basically have RX 6700 non-XT in a very cooling and power-limited scenario. So the PS5 is midrange at best. PS5 Pro will be similar to a 7800 XT again not close to a 4090 in any capacity.
The leaks indicate nothing close to a 7800 XT. It's rumored to have peak performance at 33tflops. The 7800XT is 37tflops so around 11% faster. Even the 7700XT is slightly faster, so if the leaks end up being true, it will be slower than a $400ish card.
If your PC is so much better than the console why do have to beg for our games. Sony doesn’t owe you Bloodborne. If your platform is so much better just keep playing that Dota 2 and CSgo
not to mention that higher "graphical" settings are sometimes horrible. I just started Doom (2016) and I NEVER get motion sick in games. I NEVER have a hard time following whats happening ingame, but i had to turn some of the garbage settings (like motion blur) down/off and that shit helped SO much.
This video did not age well now we actually saw the tech demo for the Pro 😂 ($700 for a console still TARGETING 60fps which barely any graphical boosts)
The RTX 3060 can out perform a PS5... and the GPU isn't the only piece of hardware in a PC anyway. As usual, CPU's hold back a lot of current gen games, and even these "budget PC's" will often have superior CPU's & more RAM than a PS5. Edit: And you mentioned that, awesome! 😁
I remember when Sony was hyping up their PS3 by saying that their "Emotion Engine" was powerful enough to put both Intel and AMD out of business in the PC market. Prior to that, they claimed that their PS2 was powerful enough to simultaneously display 75,000,000 polygons, even though it's maximum 1920*1080 output was 2,073,600 pixels. Sony's history is littered with these sorts of statements about their consoles, and some people are either too ignorant or too foolish to realize it. There's always too many good games for me to play on platforms I own to support a company which thinks so little about video game players.
eh... number of polygons rendered vs pixels output isn't really a good comparison. polygons rendered and processed determine how detailed the shape of game models can be. has nothing to do with how the picture is presented on the the screen by pixel count. pixel count determines how detailed the skins of the models can be. completely different.
@@aarlavaan 75 million polygons on screen at a time is still a grossly inaccurate and dishonest statement for Sony to have made about their PlayStation 2 though. Those detailed skins on the PS2 were simply texture maps, just like what was used by programmers for the original Xbox and the Xbox 360. Sony also claimed that the PlayStation 2 could create the same level of computer graphics used in Hollywood blockbusters in real time, even though the million dollar Silicon Graphics workstations used by Hollywood for those movies couldn't do it in real time. Again, Sony hyped their unreleased and upcoming hardware with claims which were an insult to anyone who understood computer graphics, as well as to anyone who spent a few moments running Sony's claims through the filter of common sense. So my original point still stands.
@@hidarimak again, you are conflating the texture maps with the polygon count. Those are two different things. The texture maps will look more or less detailed or nice based on the pixel count of the output, and the pixel density and size of the screen the lower the oven count the more image fidelity is lost. But it has nothing to do with polygon count. At all. The polygon count determines how smooth or detailed the models UNDERNEATH those texture maps are. Want to make a rock more bumpy, smooth, or jagged? It needs more polygons. Want to make a circle more round? Needs more polygons. the average ps2 game shows on screen between 16 and 50 MILLION polygons at any given time. So saying the console could handle up to 75 million isn't unreasonable. As for the claims of Hollywood movies... I would want to see a source. And depending on if they were talking about ore rendered cinematics or game play. Because those are handled in different ways. Remember, your Blu-ray player doesn't have a gpu in it, but displays crisp 4k images just fine. It's merely reading the info rather than calculating it. They being said, yes, all companies hype up their products to be better then they really are. The Xbox One was powerful enough to display all of observable space. Did it mean anything? Not really. But it sounds cool.
@@aarlavaan Again, saying that any PS2 game was throwing around 75 million polygons per second in game at a time is dishonest. There are multiple games and gaming engines which have been promoted by the inclusion of how many polygons were being handled per frame or per second, which is one way to gauge the accuracy of Sony's statement. Compare the promoted specs of other rendering hardware of its time such as the GeForce 3, and see how the best PS2 games compare in performance. Various sources I've checked have stated that the PS2 could handle up to 66 million polygons if it's just displaying polygons, but in game it's limited to 5-6 million polygons per second. I did see one source (Unity Forum) state that the PS2 could handle up to 20 million polygons at a time though. Sony stated that the performance gap between the PS1 and the Dreamcast would be as great as the performance gap between the Dreamcast and the PS2. But what the PS2 delivered during the first two years on the market was pretty much on par with what the Dreamcast did during its own first two years. So, again, over-hype. As to the statement of the PS2 producing Hollywood level CG in real time, it was from various interviews conducted by the print gaming mags of the time, back when online console gaming news wasn't the main attraction like it is today. This was prior to the launch of the console itself though. And as to your example, Blu-ray players are said to play various quality videos (4k/60, HDR10, etc). I have yet to see a player promoted as creating the world that you see in the videos though.
nobody actually believes that their consoles are better than pcs, they say that because people are stupid enough to get angry at it and then they get views. these “sony fanboys” yall be talking about don’t exist. actual fans of the consoles recognize they are entirely different from pc’s in every way.
Ive read it comes out holiday 2024 but ive also heard something about a chip going into tvs that will allow people to play video games with out a console or.pc but idk
Pretty obvious why. Because you can have a good time still playing on your PS4 and many of the titles released on PS5 got PS4 versions and most third party titles still get PS4 versions so the PS4 users don't feel they need to upgrade to not lose out that much yet. On top of that console gamers are sensitive to paying. They like milking what they got before throwing cash for new hardware. They only do it when they feel that what they got is now too old and irrelevant which the PS4 still isn't. Especially the users that bought a PS4 Pro bought a console not that long ago that still does 4K upscaled so it was too fast to jump on a PS5 and they probably rather wait for a PS5 Pro and more rich game library when more games not on PS4 drop. Other than that there are other factors like covid making many normal console buyers not able to buy a PS5 the first 2-3 years. And if you didn't buy one at that time then you think: "Why buy one now and not wait for a discount or a PS5 Pro?". Not being able to buy the newer consoles also made most developers make versions of their games play on older consoles and that made the new for the new hardware feels less urgent as well.
I don't think you need trust me bro to believe that. Anyone can pretty much see that with all the leaks etc. Obviously is close on release and with Sony booking a place at the Tokyo Game show when they haven't be present at any events for years is obviously a clear indicator that they booked a place to announce the PS5 Pro.
"GTA 6 will make PS5/PS5 Pro the best selling console of all time!" I like how Sony fans have co-opted GTA 6 into the Playstation brand & are preemptively attaching it to their console as if it were some exclusive. They tried this with Baldur's Gate 3, only after they started seeing the great reviews & tons of attention it was getting, even though it wasn't even on the console yet. Then when it actually came out on PS5, they were ready to move on to Spider-Man 2 anyway & BG3 already served its fanboy purpose of putting down Starfield. Now they're doing it again with GTA 6 to preemptively attack PC & Xbox by tying it to PS5 Pro... It's so annoying & disingenuous.
SM2PC Brazil runs really well, a LOT better than what I would have expected for an unofficial port. I don't have to mess with most settings, and it's 60fps pretty steady, with some expected dips and lag here and there. Very smooth overall, for me at least.
24:30 - When PS5 finally launched with an SSD, the best quote I heard was "Welcome 2012, you gonna love it." and Cerny acts like their decision to catch up to PCs actually inspired PC market to get SSDs too. We had them. For years at that time.
SSDs on the PC market couldn't even be used on the PS5 when the console released because they weren't fast enough. We had to wait until 4th gen fast SSD became a thing. So yeah PC had SSD but when the PS5 launched it clearly had faster storage speeds and even now it beats most PC's with gen 4 SSDs because it has a dedicated cheap on handling SSD data transfer to CPU and GPU etc.
So they say the PS5 pro will be the best selling console ever, even though the PS4 pro sold less than the PS4, and the PS5 hasn't outsold the PS4 yet, let alone the Switch, Wii or PS2? What alien math are they using? It'll be lucky to hit 20M let alone the extra 100M it'd need to sell

I'm personally going to be making a PC build with either a 7900 GRE or a 7900 XT (whatever ends up being a better deal later this year). Even if im still a console player, I will never deny that the console will always be years behind current GPUs
It's a pretty average game. Even with the media trying to hype it up and manipulate the scores, most people accept that this is a very average game at best.
What the problem of playing on a budget PC, the bigger problem Sony had to solve and might never be able to is how to convince the 50% of the current PS gamers that still playing on PS4 to upgrade to new PS console
If anything the PS5 is like an RTX 2080, so the Pro will be like the 3080 or 90 and I'm a PS5 owner but I also own a PC with a 4080Super so I can't belive that the PS5 Pro would be that powerful out the box unless this PS5 Pro will be as big as a VCR from 1980s 🤣🤣
My first PC build back in mid 2018, was a Pentium G4560, 2x8GB ram and a msi r9 380. now my current build is a 3900x, 2x32GB ram with a RX 7900xt. my r9 380 is currently sitting on my shelf enjoying it's happy retirement.
Due to the CPU in the PS5 Pro, there will be no framerate improvement over the vanilla PS5 because it's the same CPU. It will be better at raytracing performance though.
That is not true. Games come in different flavors on their hardware demands. Some games are more CPU heavy while others rely more on the GPU. The second kind will certainly benefit in every aspect including framerates and the majority of games is actually the second type. The CPU heavy games will be more like you say with minimal frame improvements. Also PS5 Pro will use that new advance upscale algorithm that Sony has been working for some time now and i imagine that will give some great boost since it will be able to keep quality image at higher resolutions with same frame rate as low resolutions. When a normal PS5 uses FSR the quality clearly drops but now with the new Sony algorithm that won't be the case so is like having more power than the hardware you have.
@SIPEROTH Dude, I'll save this conversation, and I'll be back after the Pro is released. Raytracing will be massively improved, visual fidelity will be improved. Framerate will slightly improve. You don't seem to understand that RDNA 3 (PS5 Pro GPU architecture) has been out on PC since 2022, and it doesn't contain any hardware upscaling chips like Nvidias Tensor cores, so don't expect DLSS quality upscaling. Without hardware upscaling, it's a software solution like FSR. Machine learning, again like Nvidia will be impossible.
@@homernoy Better remember to be back. Because you will quickly see that some games will have minor framerate improvements while others will have quite big ones. Also this is not PC. As the Sony guy himself said, the good about a console is that we as the manufacturer can do what we want with it. RDNA3 doesn't have 3D sound chips either. Sony already made a chip for their new upscaling tech. They don't need RDNA 3 to do it. It will be as good as DLSS.
@@GhostsGraphics It's not. It's vastly overpriced because it don't have any actual professional "production" values. It's got lots of VRAM, but its gimped by its FP64 capabilities so that Nvidia can sell you a Quadro instead. And the "studio drivers" aren't anything special for RTX cards, it's just a driver that doesn't get "game ready" drivers.
I’m not a PC expert by any means, but my 3060 card has ran everything I’ve ever wanted on high or max settings. I didn’t know it was “budget” lol seems pretty high quality to me
Because I had nothing better to do, I made a parts list for a PC. It was AM4 with a Ryzen 5 4500. A 2060 can play Spiderman at 1080, with raytracing, at 60 FPS, so that's the GPU I used (to beat the requested Spiderman performance). Other than a used 2060 for $170, the PC was all new. For another $20 or so, the SSD could be upgraded from the 240GB unit to a 1TB unit. It also included 16GB of RAM in dual channel. I considered a 3050, but the cheapest example I found was $190. That took me about twenty minutes. A brand new RX 6600 could (also) be substituted for the 2060. It outperforms the 2060 across the board, but the cheapest example I found was $200. If anyone's curious, I'd be glad to link you to my parts list.
What people often fail to realize 60 FPS on some budget office monitor looks fine but it is noticeably more choppy on high refresh rate monitors due to fast pixel response time. I have 144 Hz monitor and when a game goes from 100 to 70 FPS is it definitely noticeable.
The simple fact that I don't have to pay to play online, made switching from console over to PC worth it. I Spend 100+ dollars a month to my ISP already, don't need to waste an extra 60-70 bucks. I've saved so much money. And my "budget build" with a 3060 is doing just fine at 1440p with 100+ fps.
I'm new to pc gaming and my pc has a $700 CAD amd graphics card in it but I'm curious did I make a bad choice in general? My pc seems to run nicely so I'm hoping I didn't make a bad choice lol

People seem to forget that the ps5 pro will have an even more magical ssd, which will beat out every pc spec for the next 5 years at least. Checkmate! 😂
Umm, do you know how consoles/pcs work? An SSD won’t run anything faster except installations and load times, not to mention the PS5 already has a fine enough SSD.
Yeah, that channel is so freaking shady, especially with the whole 'trust me' thing they're trying to get across. Wow! Cuddos to you for going through this whole ish.
How much of a Lazy-To-Take-Care-Of-Your-Drives you have to be to think a terabyte, let alone TWO are merely nothing?? Why would PS fans even need 4 terabytes if they barely got even 300 GBs of exclusives
Didn't know that people bought a console to only play exclusive games and nothing else. I was under the impression that consoles were gaming devices to generally play games. I guess i wasn't informed.
I'd like to know what PS5 game plays natively 4K. Not even 60FPS, just native 4K without checkerboarding or dynamic resolution scaling. Gosh, Cerny needs to stick to making consoles instead of talking about them. He's making the PS5 sound dumber and dumber. Literally none of what he said is full truths. They're half-truths at best. He's right, he's not bound to using commodity PC hardware, because of AMD's Semi-Custom business. HOWEVER, he's still bound to the same technology available to PC players. The CPU in the PS5 is nothing but an AMD Ryzen 7 3700. Spec for spec, it's the same. Same Zen2 processor, same 8 cores, and nearly the same clock speeds. The flaw in that is that PC gamers can choose to upgrade their PCs as newer parts come available, while the PS5 is stuck with what it has until the "next generation". As a PC gamer, on the same platform as the 3700, I can get a Ryzen 5800x3D, which is "next gen" compared to the PS5's CPU.
It would actually be a shrewd business move to cancel this hardware release. This thing is going to lose a lot of money, and will not sell to any new customers. Can they turn this ship before it hits the iceberg?
My gaming PC is about as close as you can get to a PS5. It has a Ryzen 5 3600, a Zen 2 CPU, and an RX 6700 XT, an RDNA 2 GPU that is just a clock and VRAM boosted version of the GPU in the PS5. I still get higher framerates at higher detail settings than a PS5, let that sink in.
RDNA2 desktop and console work differently. Desktop has infinity cache, which acts as a bandwidth amplifier. So it's 13 TFLOPS (6700 XT) vs 10 TFLOPS (PS5).
I’ve been with Xbox from day one.. I’ve also spent the last nine years on the PS4 personally I thought it was crap.. i’m now on the series S and X. Currently saving for a better gaming PC one day… I certainly have no desire to get a PS5 or a PS5 or whatever the damn things called.. and you’re right PC gaming I’ve got limitless opportunities.. so I’m hoping to make the switch to PC and I will keep my Xbox as a backup.. plus I’ve worked 13 years in the gaming industry we all know PC is better
At this point there would be nothing funnier than if the ps5 pro never gets announced lol does anybody remember when people were CONVINCED the switch pro was gonna happen? Yeah lol sometimes these rumors just end up being wishful thinking
I don't understand, they only talk about PlayStation games, like they're the only games that exist in the world, I'm sorry but i don't really care about majority of PlayStation games, im over here playing Fallout 2, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Black Ops 3, and also modding my games to my own preferences, something you can't really do on Consoles, especially PlayStation.
i don’t understand why microsoft doesn’t make a multi tasking “console” that’s basically a laptop that can run games and computer software but has what’s needed for the base consumer. Pc gaming overwhelms a lot of people how chips work how chips work with cooling involved just cause it’s a good chip doesn’t mean it will run well depending on cooling ram and other things microsoft or xbox should just making a laptop marketed as a console and try to make the parts that can be upgraded easy to swap in and out people stay out of pc gaming because they feel the hardware changes so much that they’ll have to swap out their 1000 graphics card in six months i feel microsoft should go that route imagine a “console” that can function like an i pad, laptop and play games offer a solution to the problem
Funny. The PS5 was going to be “more powerful than a 2080ti” and ended up being a 1070 with RT cores… So I’ll just chalk the PS5 pro up to roughly a 3070 AT BEST. Edit: It’s also interesting they keep bringing up Ray tracing, when it’s been shown that console Ray tracing is equivalent to PC RT set to low. Reflections and shadows aren’t nearly as good as on PC in the same games. Just look at RT heavy games.
@crestofhonor2349 that's what digital foundry said tho the 6700 xt is still a great card i was once with a discord a guy with a 3070 in his pc said tge ps5 is better rx 6700 xt/rtx 3070/rx 6750 xt dude said its performing like an rx 6800.
@@crestofhonor2349 When the PS5 was measured against GPUs with an equivalent (+/-) CPU, Gamers Nexus determined the PS5 most closely matched to a PC with a Ryzen 7 3700x with an Nvidia 1070 GPU, but with some RT cores tossed in. Honestly it’s negligible considering RT is garbage on consoles. Nearly any game you test with RT done right, PC has far better reflections and shadows. The consoles are basically using PC RT set to low quality.
@@gamingcomputers7485 um except that is not what digital foundry said. When they covered the PC port of AC Valhalla they said through the pc graphics option and finding the ps5 equivalent they discovered the ps5 is basically a 2070 super at best.

hardware and game performance is literally all the pc has. its more expensive, requires consistent upgrades, requires technical knowledge, troubleshooting broken games. like, i grew up gaming on a 486 and loved pc gaming for a long time but at a certain point it became unnecessarily intensive to remain a pc player. I'd rather just pop the game into the console and go. back in the day the most i ever had to do was edit a .bat file to reallocate memory and autorun an overclocker program on startup and that worked to make every spec'ed game run great. now its "oh check these settings, try changing this to this, update drivers, go to this other folder and edit this file, run it as admin and do 12 other things to make the broken game start and run"
I would have to hard disagree on your point on budget cards matching the PS5 and Series X. They don’t. Also the 3060 is around if not less powerful than the PS5 based off of many benchmarks
gta 6 could fr run at native 1080p 30 fps on ps5 pro and these people compare that system to a rtx 4090😂. The problem in the ps5 pro is not the gpu, but the cpu
This guy is talking off his ass you don't need a super expensive PC to be matched with a PS5 I have seen people building a very good PC for around 550$/600$ The GPUs like Rx 6600xt/ Rx 6700 is a good GPU I'm saving for 3070 I wanna use it on my current PC and change the CPU and whole PC later sure CPU I have will have 30 percent CPU bottleneck but what I researched it'll be fine for now I will definitely get it when my Money ready I do play on both playstation and PC I do like them both but I love PCs more mainly for more options (like resolution and graphical settings) My parents bought the PS5 for me on My birthday 🎂 so yeah No thank you PS5 pro is the same crap/ no graphical settings/ up to devs decide how you wanna play And cap ray tracing even though consoles can't run it and they're forcing you playing like that I would go for upgrading the new GPU (for that performance)

Console peeps are so annoying. There's no way Ps5 or Ps5 Pro will compete with any pc lol. I built my pc over 3 years ago, it cost me right at $1,170 to build it minus the case which I already had so it's basically budget level, and it's still better than Ps5 even 3 years later lol. I think it's possible to turn your last point into a strength for consoles. Bring able to upgrade whenever is very nice, but for consoles you never really need to. Most of the games people want to play run at the very least fine on them and since modern console generations last so long now, you could easily squeeze 8-10 years out of them. Ps4 is still getting new games even after 11 years on the market. If you bought a ps4 in 2013 and never upgraded, you got your money's worth and then some
Lol 60 frames per second 😂. *laughs in and ryzen 7 7800x 3d and rtx 3080 at 4k 120 fps * I did recently just decide to upgrade to Xbox series x from one x after my friends on Xbox live hitting me up again so there’s that. It’s less about the superior hardware and more about the social experience of console gaming, really. The one thing I will give it to Consol gaming for is the fact that it’s a better system if you’re just trying to get online and team up with the Homies. Consoles are fun too, but only if you're trying to play your favorite games with your friends who are on a different platform.

To be fair, PS5 does have a NVME SSD slot. So you can swap out memory really easily with whatever size ya want. Hell, years ago I even swapped out my HDD in the PS4 Pro to a 2tb 2.5" SSD and it ran easily twice as fast. So it's definitely not hard or super expensive unless the market is just hiked up. It's not surprising I already have Sony fanboys telling me the current PS5 is faster than anything on PC. But they basically have RX 6700 non-XT in a very cooling and power-limited scenario. So the PS5 is midrange at best. PS5 Pro will be similar to a 7800 XT again not close to a 4090 in any capacity.
id be surprised if it even comes close to a 7800 xt
The leaks indicate nothing close to a 7800 XT. It's rumored to have peak performance at 33tflops. The 7800XT is 37tflops so around 11% faster. Even the 7700XT is slightly faster, so if the leaks end up being true, it will be slower than a $400ish card.

its ragebait you dunce

I love all this PS5 vs PC. Real question ponies should be asking is: Why won't the 49% of PS4 users switched to PS5?
They are broke, I have 2 gaming pcs, a ps5, and nintendo switch.

"GTA 6 will make PS5/PS5 Pro the best selling console of all time!"
I like how Sony fans have co-opted GTA 6 into the Playstation brand & are preemptively attaching it to their console as if it were some exclusive.

Without hardware upscaling, it's a software solution like FSR. Machine learning, again like Nvidia will be impossible.

RDNA3 doesn't have 3D sound chips either.
Sony already made a chip for their new upscaling tech. They don't need RDNA 3 to do it. It will be as good as DLSS.

Bruh not even AMD has anything out there that can compete with the 4090.
I'm new to pc gaming and my pc has a $700 CAD amd graphics card in it but I'm curious did I make a bad choice in general? My pc seems to run nicely so I'm hoping I didn't make a bad choice lol

Imagine if the ps5 pro never came out 🤣
imma laugh like the joker if that happens 😁

It would actually be a shrewd business move to cancel this hardware release. This thing is going to lose a lot of money, and will not sell to any new customers. Can they turn this ship before it hits the iceberg?
The funny part is that you can still play all modern game on 1060 6gb. It is a 8, almost 9 y.o. budget card
As a grandfather I'm looking forward to upgrading my PS4Pro to the newer PS5Pro in November.
As I just enjoy playing on a console.
Simple as that...
I don't understand, they only talk about PlayStation games, like they're the only games that exist in the world, I'm sorry but i don't really care about majority of PlayStation games, im over here playing Fallout 2, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Black Ops 3, and also modding my games to my own preferences, something you can't really do on Consoles, especially PlayStation.
glad your not playing fallout 1 eww
@@chaserseven2886 what's wrong with Fallout 1, i thought it was pretty good
Another Sony hardware flop.
i don’t understand why microsoft doesn’t make a multi tasking “console” that’s basically a laptop that can run games and computer software but has what’s needed for the base consumer.
Pc gaming overwhelms a lot of people how chips work how chips work with cooling involved just cause it’s a good chip doesn’t mean it will run well depending on cooling ram and other things
microsoft or xbox should just making a laptop marketed as a console
and try to make the parts that can be upgraded easy to swap in and out
people stay out of pc gaming because they feel the hardware changes so much that they’ll have to swap out their 1000 graphics card in six months
i feel microsoft should go that route imagine a “console” that can function like an i pad, laptop and play games
offer a solution to the problem
_"Expensive budget PCs..."_
Quite the contradictory statement.
That's the average pony for you.
The meaning is that they are budget for PC but still more expensive than a console therefore they are expensive but they are budget PC's.
If it ever goes out, leave it on the shelves of the stores. We don't need unnecessary Pro models.
Its a type-o
They mean Playstation 50 is better than 4090
A 2060S can do 1080P60 with RT on.
It’s basically equal to an AMD RX?6700
@@zeedude8026 You're talking about one game. Digital Foundry did a whole comparison against the RX 6700 and many of their tests for the equivalent system are using a RX6700 now. The Valhalla test was done nearly 3 years ago now
hardware and game performance is literally all the pc has.
its more expensive, requires consistent upgrades, requires technical knowledge, troubleshooting broken games.
like, i grew up gaming on a 486 and loved pc gaming for a long time but at a certain point it became unnecessarily intensive to remain a pc player.
Rockstar saying gta 6 may not run at 60 fps on ps5 pro so i don't know how it beats the RTX 4090
gta 6 could fr run at native 1080p 30 fps on ps5 pro and these people compare that system to a rtx 4090😂. The problem in the ps5 pro is not the gpu, but the cpu
This guy is talking off his ass you don't need a super expensive PC to be matched with a PS5
I have seen people building a very good PC for around 550$/600$
The GPUs like Rx 6600xt/ Rx 6700 is a good GPU
I'm saving for 3070 I wanna use it on my current PC and change the CPU and whole PC later sure CPU I have will have 30 percent CPU bottleneck but what I researched it'll be fine for now I will definitely get it when my Money ready
I do play on both playstation and PC
I do like them both but I love PCs more mainly for more options (like resolution and graphical settings)
My parents bought the PS5 for me on My birthday 🎂 so yeah
No thank you PS5 pro is the same crap/ no graphical settings/ up to devs decide how you wanna play
And cap ray tracing even though consoles can't run it and they're forcing you playing like that
I would go for upgrading the new GPU (for that performance)
Better sell my 4070ti super and grab a ps5.
Consumer capitalism, corporations, and greed are killing the enthusiasm of developers who are genuinely trying to create something great.
The PC has most all games from xbox and some games from the Ps5. 120 fps to 240 fps all day long on a capable PC!
I want to ask the person that wrote this article how the ps4 or ps5 pioneered Dirext X, when it was first used on PC in 1995 before the ps2 was even out. Make it make sense.
So we have console fanboys using Ai pretending they're games journalist outlets now??? Jesus christ......
NB4 they discover the culture that turns down minimum settings on a 4090 just because frames win games, and maby the game disabels lighting and trees.
Even A 4070 which is considered a 3080 like performance will struggle to do ray tracing in 1440p in 60 fps what big and bold claim 😭😭😭
Most people don't realize that sony sells their consoles at a loss. They make most of the profit from PlayStation Plus and game sales.
4 months ago and the truth came out. Joe, I truly would love to see a video of you coming back to this same video debunking the nonsense with the facts that have come out since.
You can certainly build a ps5 equivalent system (if not better) for $450
Fr?
Then why do gaming PC's cost around 2k from what I hear ?
@@Glitchedpixel5the best pc experience costs 2000 plus but the best console experience is only 350 used
@@Glitchedpixel5because the console zealots have no idea what things actually cost.
I haven’t seen that from any budget builds
The people who think the PS5 Pro is going to come anywhere near a high end 40 series card are in for a rude awakening, as always.
This chick forgot one other place to buy stuff, facebook marketplace.
I seen medium-tier PCs for $800 already assembled and ready for purchase.
Its funny how the voice only said that people play only on 4k 60fps, thats the dumbest pony assumption that pc is is exactly like ponies and only love graphics

@@luukherfst1209 Personally, I'll take 1440p over 4K and 1080p, but that's because I find 1440p the perfect middle ground between FPS and Visual Quality.

I can't wait for the PS5 Pro to come out so we can put these fan boys / girls in their place
It might be equivalent or maybe a little slower to Ps5 Pro if the leaks are right but it's 3 years old and Ps5 Pro hasn't even released yet lol. They just don't understand pc will just always be better because we can upgrade yearly if we wanted to and consoles last 8 years before they get to upgrade.
If you bought a ps4 in 2013 and never upgraded, you got your money's worth and then some
I am a wizard, I come from the future, and I can tell you the PS5 Pro has yet to sell out on a variety of sites.
I'm more concerned for the Nintendo switch successor because man it needs an upgrade.
Lol 60 frames per second 😂. *laughs in and ryzen 7 7800x 3d and rtx 3080 at 4k 120 fps *
I did recently just decide to upgrade to Xbox series x from one x after my friends on Xbox live hitting me up again so there’s that.
These consoles could have been amazing if only they had DLSS.
It literally can’t even beat the card…..alone….with no computer attached too it
Funny part about it is that they never addressed their clickbait title of “ps5 pro will be better than a 4090” because even they know that’s bs 😂
"2 tiny terrabytes"
meanwhile, me sitting on a 20TB HDD.
storage is not expensive. you can easily buy some more if you need... oh wait, we talking about a console ? ah yes... the home of overpriced properitary storage extensions... cry about it.
#PCMR
Theres a gulf in price between fast storage and HDD. Consoles dont even use HDD anymore. Old tech
Buddy of mine who did buy a PS5 threw in a Silcapower 6tb NVME in like 5min.
But I'm definitely far more happier with my 25tb in my PC Lol
@GrySgtBubba
wow. thats some serious storage there...
personally, i partitioned my storage in two section: one dedicated for games, and the other for utilities... names aside, the utility part is for software, downloaded films, music, etc.
how do you use your storage ? :)
@@GrySgtBubba ya gotta remember, we're comparing nvme with HDD here so its not really fair to compare a 2tb nvme to 20tb of HDD when theres a huge difference in price. Thats all I was getting at
@@chrissyboy7047 I mean, seeing as ssd's only come in 4tb and some 6tb for hundreds of dollars, with like 1 or 2 8tb's coming in at over a grand usd...a $300 20tb hdd doesn't sound bad 🤣 When ssd's come in 10-20tb for round $500...then we can honestly argue ssd's are superior. But 800-1000 bucks for just 8tb is just stupid.
Shoooot, my little 13700k/4070ti-super is easily 4-5x more powerful and capable than a PS5 in 4k!! 😂 Literally not even remotely possible any console can out do a 4090. Sure...maybe in 8-10yrs they might.
Was on PS4-Pro. Low 4k at 25-30fps. Snowrunner running 15-20 small mods would jump to like 10fps. Even no mods, game ran laggy. On my mid PC I'm running Snowrunner at ultra 4k at 117-120fps with almost a 100 mods of tiny size to nearly a gig alone. The latest consoles can't even dream of doing that! AND I've got 100s and 100s of games to pick from too!
Lol 4090 my arse. My 4070 ti super and 14700kf will smoke anything Sony could ever put on the market right now or probably in the long future. God these guys are too much.
