It would be cool to see the outer and inner te guruma side to side as a comparison. And sukui nage as well. There are many variance including the te guruma one.
Thanks for watching! We purposely try to record all our videos in a similar manner to make comparisons easier and to help highlight subtle differences.
No - you don't control the leg here, you're really just going straight in to lifting their hip. Not sure what the wrestling technique is equivalent, although it does have some similarities to certain finishes of a high crotch.
sick and solid move and no messing around, standard Te guruma& this frontal Te guruma are one of my favourite Judo moves ever
They're great techniques! Thanks for watching!
Nice! Go judo! 🥋😎🤙🏾

@@EfficientJudo I noticed. I've been switching through all your videos, hahahaha. I like the format.
reminds me of a metzger from wrestling
Yes, similar principles.
Is it same with Single Leg Takedown?

Is this allowed in judo competitions ?🤯
Under IJF rules, you're no longer allowed to touch below the belt, so this wouldn't be allowed.
Try doing that against the big show
It's about using the right technique for the right opponent.
Is this throw legal in comp?
Not under current IJF rules
Is it legal? I thought no legs allowed
No it's not. But there is more to Judo than IJF rules.
@@EfficientJudo it is true, I love this old school techniques :) I love also old kata guruma. :)
Me knowing full well that this is against BJJ rules and people will be pissed: It's a surprise tool that will help us later.
This technique isn't against BJJ rules. It would be allowed as long as you don't land them on their head or neck.
@@EfficientJudo it's big brain time then.
Please do faster, I m writing down🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Thanks for watching!
