- The final shootout at the Glenrowan Inn. Ned Kelly has no choice but to sacrifice innocent people, and looses his brothers in front of his eyes. This is the scene I wrote the main themes for, hoping they would all pay off here. You decide.

Poor Francis. The part after this (pisses me off that this youtube video cut that part) where he ASKS if he can keep the sash and is so sweet about it.

Mascot 1 Heroes do not murder, hold up banks, take hostages, thieve the only horse from their poor Irish Catholic neighbours then stand over them and threaten them with more damage if they report the theft to police. Heroes are not prolific liars as Ned Kelly was. Your comment reflects badly on your character Mascot.

Many hundreds of bullets were pelted into the Hotel with full knowledge there were Women and Children inside.

@@samsabastian5560 that’s crap. The key events on the last outlaw are all very close to fact. Obviously there’s some minor events/dialogue that is fictional but overall it’s based on facts.

You claim that Ned Kelly had no choice but to sacrifice innocent people. REALLY? What a disgraceful statement. It was NED KELLY that put those 62 men, women, and children into harms way, by taking them hostage and threatening them at gunpoint with death if they did not obey. Kelly was 100% responsible for their deaths.
Prior to the shootout, Ned was trying to evacuate the civilians. The police opened fire. On civilians.
@@reubenmanzo2054 WRONG. Ned Kelly opened fire on the police first at Glenrowan followed by the other 3 members of the gang also firing on police. Police returned fire.
So where did the police open fire on civilians? They fired at the Kelly gang, and not at the civilians. Ned Kelly put those 62 hostages into harms way, and he is 100% responsible for the deaths that occurred as a result.
@@samsabastian5560 Before the gunfight. Ned calls out to the police to hold their fire and that their bringing women and children out. Civilians exit the hotel and one of the police calls out "it's a trick" and opens fire, at which point the civilians return into the hotel and only then does Ned and gang open fire.

Ned Kelly did not call out to the police before the gunfight. He opened fire on the police as they approached at 3.15 am. He was wounded in the left arm and right foot. He walked back into the hotel and straight out the back door. Walked for 150 yards and lay down behind a fallen log and remained there for 4 hours, before he rose and approached the police from behind.
You have been reading the fiction written by Ian Jones in his book, Ned Kelly A Short Life. He made up a huge amount of fictitious rubbish, which you sadly believe.
