All of this for a 10 second sequence. Amazing.
Nolan is one of the rare directors, that cares about the movie quality and not only box office money
@@okayge_ Wow.
Thanos : all that for a drop of blood.
@@aljazkordic6287good thing hes achieving both now. he really cemented his name. Love him and his works
I spent 4 years working in this building in Surrey!
i love watching these
Man ..am sure Nolan hated science class in school...He just makes everything literally for real in the movie
the best work of fiction arguably throughout history, is when Christopher Nolan is teaching you cinematography.
amazing
every video takes me to a shrek one
Okay so could anybody explain why in the movie they refer to the Penrose Steps and now Nolan starts talking about Escher? I mean, although their mathematical concepts have much in common, they're different architects. Maybe because I'm Dutch I recognized Escher immediately, but I just cannot tell which design their working with (and I'm writing an essay on it)
This seems like such a headache
Rest of the director add visual effect Nolan remove

From a certain angle, it looks like a never-ending staircase. That angle is from an audience's point of view. Since the audience cannot see it so do the characters in the movie. LOL. Definitely looks amazing but a very foolish idea.
Did not work because it was done wrong, for 3D aspect, the real way to do it, First start on the first floor, and make a stair that goes to 2nd floor, then stop making stair, then make a ramp that will go downward, that would be hidden by a wall, make the ramp go lower by one stair case lower from the ground floor, and then, make a stair that go up again to reach the first floor. To make it persive like the ramp does not go downward, make the celing lower, and keep making the sealing lower, as the ramp goes down, and make the wall the same way by making the wall shorter as you desend the ramp, so that way when you fallow someone with a camera, it will look like they are walking on the plain floor, but they are actually going downward. It his easier to use camera trick, They might be some issu, like the wall in between the 2 stair case might get to wide, and that also depend on how high you want the first stair case to be, the higher the stair case, the widder the ramp need to be, and the wider the wall need to be to hide the ramp. This his only a sugestion that does not mean, it will work.
SuperNickid, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this comment section is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
@@oliverhoare6779 my brain just melted like ice cream reading that scribble scratch of a comment he wrote
Okay? 👍🏼
