Tony is just an inclusive person. He's already riddled with CTE, and now he feels bad for his CTE that it's alone, so he wants his CTE to get CTE so it can have a companion 🥰

Honestly I’m glad Tony’s in the GFL. He’s going to need that health insurance and pension if he has any chance of supporting his family, and he’s more than likely going to be fighting people his age considering the roster, or younger dudes who are a huge step down from UFC competition. He’s going to fight regardless, so this if probably the best case scenario for him rather than some regional organisation feeding him to their prospects and getting knocked out repeatedly for no financial benefit
He fought in 2022 and got absolutely destroyed Krylov, got dropped like 3 times in like a minute and before that he got tapped by 45 year old Werdum in under a round
A lot of these fighters really don't have anything else they can do with their lives beyond fight, and the UFC pays them so little that they can't retire happily unless they are champion status.
