Instead, he took his losses poorly every single time, he changes gyms constantly, and he can't and won't learn from his mistakes.
In term of skills, he definitely deserves to be in the UFC. He is too good for small promotion anyways. Although he isnt good enough to ever be top 10 again. A Kevin Lee vs Bobby Green would make sense.

I think Kevin Lee is legitimately one of those dudes who would have flourushed if the UFC made a 165-pound division (and pushed Welterweight to 175). He just seemed like he was cutting too much at 155 and he'd lose steam after the first round in almost every fight... And he was just too small for 170, where he was just a little undersized... Though if he actually made use of his relatively massive 77-inch reach better that wouldn't have been as much an issue. But even still, he wasn't cutting much, so on top of being a bit smaller he would come in the octagon an additional 15+ pounds lighter than his rehydrated opponents. But if there was a 165 pound division, that's where and when Kevin Lee may fit into all of this.
Him losing more than winning had nothing to do with him getting. Making a fairly non controversial apex related statement that many current UFC fighters have already made is what broke the last straw.
Kevin is someone that was tailor made for a 165 pound division. Too big for 155, too small for 170. At 155, his cardio suffered because he cut alot of weight. Injuries didn't help either as his last loss at 155 was to Charles bloody Oliveira. He KO'd a very tough Gregor Gillespie. I always feel like he lacked proper guidance throughout his career. Someone like an Eric Nicksick would've worked wonders with him.
You know, i knid of sympathize with him lowkey, cause there was never a 165 lbs division, as it's clear that he is big for lightweight and small for welterweight So he has no choise between being drained to death or being vastly undersized to guys at 170

He has no "clear direction"?! lol....Kevin is one of the most honest and transparent fighters in MMA, and your mockery of his situation tells us everything we need to know about you.
Where does Kevin go from here? Tell me
@@ITP_MMA_LIVE Thanks for asking. I don't know, but I relate to him. I'm 43 and was recently booked for my first fight, only to have my passport not come through in time for the fight even though the Canadian government told me it would be. I see Kevin as a guy who has been manipulated by the many forces that govern our lives, and I just hope the potential I see in him is not surpassed by the evil forces that surround us.
Lol, shaddup Danny.
@@vituperativedetritus3628 lol, sure, champ.
It sounds like your fondness of kevin Lee clouds your judgement because it is true he has no clear path forward. He is not good enough for the top level any more and fighting at Gamebred is 1 step away from retirement and then what from there.
I remember picking Kevin over oliveira ... lol he is quite the enigma
I did too ngl
He needs to just got to One or Bellator... if they'd even take him
One of the best gatekeepers in UFC history
