I think people are so shocked at the benefits of Carnivore, because none of us knew just how toxic sugar, processed foods, grains, fruits and vegetables are.
fruit is not really a problem its the veg meat and fruit diet is healthy i eat meat for a week and a bit then do 3 weeks of eating only fruit and i get the fruit for free so cant bitch
I completely agree.
Yes. That's the truth in a nutshell.
@@pamelamechling958- Well, no nuts, so no nutshell! 😂
For info: Butter (pure) contains close to zero carbohydrates. It's essentially one of the best sources of animal saturated fat.
Had steak and lobster covered with butter. Incredible, only a carnivore can appreciate.
@@andrewrivera4029 Yes, I put butter on everything. Its the easiest way to regulate fat intake. Too much butter and I get the shits. Too little butter and I bind up. Everyone has their own sweet spot, and butter is the best way to find that sweet spot. Fiber is a myth. Fat is the secret to digestive system and bowel health.
Butter better than Twinkies, I don't think so!!
@@deltanine2468you like twinkies. I'm a sugar addict and even i would choose Twinkies last. Chocolate, maybe, but i make my chocolate using butter.
@@KellyNora-p8q I will work for Twinkies

Carnivore foods aren’t the glamorous, trendy foods everyone is looking for. Liver isn’t something on most people’s shopping list. And people need to learn how to cook for themselves. There are far too many people now who don’t know how to cook.
@@maps630 agreed
Food is now energy, not entertainment.
👊🙂👍
No!No!No! That is where we have gone so wrong for decades !! We should not be eating just for energy !! Any old junk food diet will provide energy !! We should be eating for ……. “NUTRITION”!! For ….. “NOURISHMENT” !! Every single cell in your body needs to be properly nourished !!
Your skin, your bones, your hair, your nails , your blood, your hormones ,every single part of your body needs to be nourished by very high quality food intake !! And there is no better food to nourish the human body than good quality fatty meat !!
Exactly
I just LOVED listening to Tony, the time flew by. Love his passion, his practical way of stating REAL facts. Calm & peaceful, that's what I want, too. And I am getting more of that with this way of eating. Thank you, Dave and Tony!! 😄
you're very welcome and I'm delighted you enjoyed the interview. I enjoyed my time with Dave.

Good report Tony and Dave
I have also found that carnivore is a cheaper option 😂
it can be done if you're smart about it.
Thanks for sharing Tony, You are a lucky man that you open minded wife has joined you in your journey.

Thanks Dave! Another GREAT interview! Please keep up the work, it’s helping others, even when we are feeling just a little down!
yeah Dave is doing great work.
We are going to need more beef farmers soon
especially regenerative organic ones
I'm a strict CARNIVORE. But whatever works for you.
I am getting there. Still drinking coffee with cream and eat some Greek yogurt and cheese. My fingers have gotten stiff the last 2 months, so I'm thinking they need to go as well.
@@lindabirmingham603 The dairy can definitely be a bit of a problem, it was for me. The coffee was a game changer though, cut it back slowly then eliminate it. I can't believe the difference between 1 cup & none. Good luck!
@@danielcohen24what differences did you see? Just generally feeling better?.
@@danielcohen24I love coffee!
I’ve come to believe that strict carnivore is only necessary for people with autoimmune conditions, or addictions, or serious medical problems. The rest of us can do well on a ketovore diet. Although good to do strict carnivore for a few months as an experiment.
yeaaa! we shouldnt worry about not being religiously carnivore, coz as long we're very low carb hey it works!
agreed but I have come across some real sticklers out there. They mean well but they don't help their cause.
This was such an enjoyable interview!!Thanks!😊❤

i love your passion about this. it really is sad and frustrating when we see the big picture n others don't.
None of us got forced into this. All we can be is an invitation and example to others.
Thanks Dave, great interview and very encouraging
glad you enjoy it
Enjoyed Tony's talk. It's amazing how only meat and associated fat will give us optimal life, but if we eat only a couple of vegetables for a time we will become very sick.
As Tony stated, meat is not boring. One actually becomes adapted to it fairly quickly. Everything else is not our food, by design. Man has created them for profit. Plants are toxic to our health, if we listen to the thousands of testaments and learn some history.
Thanks Dave and Tony!
you're welcome and I find increasingly delicious
Trying to tell an Italian to only drink coffee early is laughable.
I drink coffee ( black) all day long .
It hasn't affected my carnivore life at all.
Gone down 4 waist sizes and I feel fantastic
Great interview you both. It’s not just pharmaceutical and food ( poison) companies that love the constant return consumer, everyone is at it. I use a constant glucose metre from Libre, not because I am diabetic but because I like to watch how my body reacts to food and exercise, but by heck those little discs are so bloody expensive, it’s a great money making scheme. Keep up exposing these crooks who pedal the population all of this awful crap.🥩🥓🐷🐏🐟🍳
thank you
I don't worry too much about what other people think or what they believe. I do find it hard to hear how worried people are about those things that we never until this moment in history worried about before. I guess before now, there were other things to worry about other than numbers, labs and the like. I'm three years into carnivore and feel better than ever. A couple of weeks ago someone said I was a "young 67". Lol, well I wasn't feeling young a few years ago, but I certainly do now.
one of the great adavantages of ageing. I'm attempting to do so disgracefully ;-)
@@masteringmusicmasteringlife I am the caregiver, with the help of an assisted living facility, of my 87 year old mother who has bought into all of the marketed propaganda since her childhood. My "why" is to not become her. There is so much that life still has to offer her if she would only see what is. I want to be healthy and strong, independent and capable for myself and those that come after me. So yes, I'm right with you. I want to be disgraceful too! Lol.
I think a helpful way to become adjusted to eating more fat is to cook ground beef in a pot; pour off the rendered fat or scoop out the cooked beef; now add back a measured amount of rendered fat and increase that amount every other day or what ever you like. Thanks Dave. Thank you Tony.
good tip and thank you

Very enthusiastic carnivore. Thanks . Fun to listen to.

I ordered crepes with cream cheese filling for breakfast a few days ago. I could smell the sugar and cinnamon as soon as she set the plate down. I took two bites and was sick the rest of the day. I make carnivore crepes with cream cheese at home and have no problems. It's the SUGAR. ❤
Hello!how do you make carnivore crepes?
@cindyleastorch194 4 eggs and about 4 oz Philly whipped cream cheese. Blend it in your bullet mixer until it's just a bit frothy. Use a couple pads of butter in a VERY nonstick pan. Pour just enough eggs in the pan so you can swirl it around to a nice thin circle. It helps to put a lid on it while cooking on medium heat. As soon as it's bubbly and just browning on the edges, check it. If its nicely browning, like a thin pancake, carefully flip with a nonstick spatula. Cook the other side to the same degree. Roll some cream cheese inside on a plate. Repeat and enjoy ❤️

Thank you both for another wonderful interview
Great interview! I agree with Tony 100%!
I like that you're starting to sprinkle some new questions into your interviews. Keeps things interesting!
Tony, I've found that very few of us are that picky or crazy. Just ignore anyone who goes too far pushing their particular interpretation. I guess you have a very dry sense of humor - and of course, no harm done. In case someone got under your skin over this, I'm just saying do it your way. That's very much okay and fine with me and most of us.
I also drink coffee. I use black pepper on my steak - and maybe garlic powder, a small amount of thyme and so on. Sometimes condiments, not too often. This summer we got a few apples off our new apple tree. I ate half of one. Neighbor gave us peaches. I ate a small one. I'm still carnivore. Maybe "dirty carnivore," but by scientific definition, I'm not only a carnivore, I'm a hyper-carnivore.
Zoologically, any creature that gets over 70% of its diet from animal products is a hyper-carnivore. I'm not arguing with you, by the way. Just tossing out some thoughts. I liked your talk. Glad you've found carnivore and that you're doing well on it! Peace to you, and all the best.
Purists exist everywhere and I deal with them with humour (attempted as it is) ;-)
I appreciate your words of encouragement

Glad you’ve found your healing diet 👏🏼
I eat venison but I also add butter, it’s delicious!
I get so frustrated when I hear success after success story! People switching rapidly and adjusting to and reaping the benefits of carnivore, I’m so happy for them, but after 7 months I’m still not sleeping and my eczema has got worse on my hands. I’m down to beef, no butter, a bit of ghee, tallow and salt and water. And that’s it. I’ve no idea how to move on from here. I’ve experienced big improvements in hip and lower back pain and in much better digestion, which is great, but the lack of sleep means I don’t have much energy and can be somewhat bad tempered… I don’t want to go back to pre- carnivore, but don’t know how to improve things. Taking more fat and magnesium and electrolytes doesn’t seem to help. Any advice????
Ps thanks Dave for all you do in talking to these wonderful people and giving them a platform to share their success stories - we’re all learning to go against just about ALL ‘expert’ advice - on nearly every aspect of life!
You may need to get with a carnivore lifestyle coach, some are better than others it seems but you should figure out the sleep thing if possible. It sounds like you are doing the right things. Good luck.
That must be so frustrating. I guess we are all different. Could there be any other reason for the eczema?
Soap or environmental things? Sure you have explored that. Keep the faith! Things do improve with time.
7 months is a short time compared to how long we ate poorly. My wife eczema cleared up after 5 months but maybe it wasn't as bad as yours. Have patience and keep it up. Could I pray for you?
I have found high electrolytes need to be sustained for me and can take a little while to improve if I get low. Another thought is what is in your environment? If you have eczema on your hands it may be a contact dermatitis. Also did you have a lot of gut issues before? It may be you need to give healing more time.
For circadian rhythm, try grounding in the morning and getting out into the sun in the morning if you can. Likewise try blue light blocking in the evening.
Diet is not everything and you actually may be low in some vitamins and especially minerals. You could include a little liver weekly to help. I include iodine and a wide mineral in my diet. These are just quick ideas to try. I do hope this helps.
Could be oxalates coming through your skin. Anyway, it can be as long as 2 years to clear the all inflammations, 7 months isn't long.
The problem men face on a Carnivore diet who don't eat grass fed or organic is Non-organic meats contain chemicals, pro-hormones, and antibiotics you will ingest. These items will alter your Estrogen levels thereby lowering your Testosterone levels. This will increase body fat, decrease energy levels and alter Cortisol.
grass fed and finished is my preference too for the reasons you've stated
People in rural areas having own food have more wealth than vast numbers of city buffoons.
The increasing prevalence of and type of cancers folks are experiencing are certainly underpinned by excessive intakes of the foods they're choosing, as well as other lifestyle factors. Cancer has always existed - it's strictly a cell which has regressed and lost its specific programming, and thus only knows to proliferate at all costs. However as we bombard our bodies with inappropriate fuel, and at rates which give our internal check systems no time off from the digesting functions to deal with these rogue cells, it's no wonder the badies win. Disease increases in an age of excess. 😢
Awesome Tony! I guess he loves good ole Dan Andrews!
HA!! I don't hate him per se, but I did hate what he did to us in Victoria. He left an awful mess of things and we will not recover for decades unfortunately
Yes, carnivore can be cheap. Coles (store here in Aus) does cheap ten packs of beef patties for $10 (AUD). Double bacon, egg, cheese burgers FTW!
it's amazing what you can find when you look around.
Yes, i was told id have a heart attack and dr wants me to go on medication for high cholesterol 😮😅
it's crazy isn't it. I had to shaop around for a more open minded GP & specialist
