The man is 95 and clearly confused. Anybody who has ever seen or taken care of a person with dementia will recognize what is going on here. That look in the old man's face and the way of talking and gesturing from the man next to him, like he is talking with a little kid. It is so very clear. Do you really have to do this? Also, show the beginning, when he was not even able to sit down. They didn't show anything in the news not to embarass an old man who used to be the leader.
I like how western medias make this out of context footage like the sign of the downfall of ccp. It seems like the quarrel was about the list of names in that sheet of paper that Hi tried to grab several times and that was taken away from him each time. Current hypotheses: he had a list with different names that other members (they don’t approve each name but just the list) or he had the same list as the other but did not like the names in the list (his son for instance wasn’t in it…). So he was removed. Quite unbelievable anyway.
