- Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel! For today's video we will be jumping back into the Vita Scene, and checking out the highly sought-after port of GTA San Andreas developed by TheFlow and Rinne. Personally speaking, I’ve been dying to make this video guide since its original release back in February, however as some of you guys know I’ve been attending to my academic career thus I didn’t have a lot of time on my hands to produce this video earlier. Nevertheless, you check out all of the necessary information down below in order to successfully install GTA S.A on the Vita/PSTV.

Additional Information:
• As of 3/7/2021, I will be using v.1.5 of the GTA San Andreas port from GitHub for today’s video.
• For this setup, I recommend that you have installed PSVShell which is an overclocking plugin for your PS Vita/PSTV which will allow better performance for not only the GTA S.A port but for a plethora of other titles.
• FdFix is required for this setup. (This plugin fixes an issue in PS Vita homebrews where file descriptors are invalidated after suspending and resume.)
• kubridge plugin is also required for this Setup (This plugin is a Kernel-user bridge module for PS Vita)
• For this process as well, we will be needing to install PlayStation Mobile Runtime version 2.01

• 3.60-3.73FW
• VitaShell 2.2
• Wi-Fi Connection
• FileZilla FTP Client or WinSCP
• USB Charging Cable (If you are transferring via USB method.)
• WinRAR or 7Zip
• Grand Theft Auto SA PS Vita v1.05 Setup.RAR (This file is a preconfigured build of GTA S.A for the PS Vita. Meaning all you have to do is drag and drop the contents to the ux0 directory.)

What I like about this port is the fact that they went with the ps2 weather graphics and fixed the plastic-like textures for the characters

Thank you so much been trying to do this for ages your video is easy to follow and still worked for me in 2024 all I had to do was add the updated vpks after installing yours from the link in your description to 2.1

I followed a video from you before and it works exept the horse racing and I seen someone say they remade the game and didn't have a problem after.

for some reason whenever i try to plug my vita into my pc, the connection rapidly gets dropped then reconnected then dropped again. I doubt its the usb port itself as the vita and hell even my old psp do this, no other device i plug in has this problem. Anyone got any ideas as to whats causing this?

Thank you for the walkthrough. I had issues installing this game the beginning of the year. The reason was my vita didn't had the suprx file. I added it like that and still gave me an error and just stays black. I gave up and unmodded my vita. then today i remodded it and it went smooth.

Well basically GTA SA is a phone port, and GTA3 is a pc port I believe.
